Traditional Parador character; lovely furniture, decor, spacious lounge/dining/bar areas. Bedrooms very airy, beautifully appointed en-suite and lots of wardrobe space. Staff in all areas were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Restaurant excellent- lovely dinner (rather large portions!), and time for chats in the bar with fellow guests. Easy and safe location with private parking on site.

Would have liked a kettle for early (pre-cafe/restaurant opening times) - very minor!

A really beautiful authentic Parador. Easy to access from the motorway. Safe parking. I’d get there early to be sure of a space. A few restaurants around. Right next to a supermarket and a small shopping centre. Nice bar. Lovely artwork. It’s almost am extension of the Brittany Ferries queue. Everyone seemed to be coming from or going to the ferry. Not a bad thing. I’d ask for a room away from the lift as it was noisy. Lovely rooms with balcony style doors. Friendly staff. Not much to do or see in Calahorra. Great as a stopover or for touring the area.

It's a traditional parador and in my limited experience, one knows what to expect. Being a creature of habit, that works for me 😉

Pleasant view, adequate air con which given the heat wave was important. Nice location in the centre of town, car parking, although we know that's not always available depending on occupancy. Good food and reasonable service in the restaurant.

Location was great . Right in the middle of the town but easy to get back onto the motorway. Breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable.

The staff in the restaurant, when we had dinner, were obviously new and hadn't had much training. Our order was taken twice and then I didn't get the correct starter. The person who booked us in was very grumpy and we didn't get our free drink as a 'Paradore Amigo'

Lovely old well maintained property. Very clean and a good location. The reception staff were lovely however the gentleman who was on reception duty the day we arrived went over and above what most people would do. He was so helpful with our parking. Thank you to him. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name.

The restaurant staff were ok but not impressive. I had Turbot which wasn’t good I would say it was a lunchtime leftover!!

This parador was easy to get to, and for us just a stopover on our way to Bilbao. The room was handicap accessible, great for my husband with limited mobility. It was huge and comfortable, great shower and large beds. Ability to Chromecast shows in English, etc. Very good stay for the price. Free parking is also nice.

Great for cycle touring. The receptionist, Carmen, was incredibly helpful providing a luggage trolley for our panniers and showing us the safe storage for the bikes. In the morning the other receptionist kindly filled our water bottles.

The bar staff were rude and restaurant staff absent minded. It all seemed too much to serve their guests.

Beautiful Spanish parador with history. Private parking which was secure in a quiet neighbourhood close to restaurants which we could walk to and close to a visit to Pamplona which was a bonus. The room was large, very comfortable with a peaceful aspect.

Would be great to have water and a facility to make a coffee or tea.

We are two cyclists on a ride from Cadiz to San Sebastian. Our needs are simple we seek a clean bed and a hot shower – the hotel provided both Reception was welcoming and helpful – We select the Parador chain for a touch of luxury and enjoy the lavish and expert restoration of historical buildings across Spain - we are less fans of the modern new build hotels However the Hotel Hospitality is most welcome. ( Bar and Breakfast )

The Gardens and lay out is very Urban - we had expected more green areas around the hotel

Breakfast was excellent great location. Beautifully decorated and furnished.

Beds were not very comfy. Very creaky floors (but they looked amazing) didn't bother us as hotel quiet but I would imagine noisy when hotel full. Sadly prices in restaurant in hotel were prohibitive be good to have a more affordable menu.
