Loved my room and comfy bed

Picked hotel as it had a gym and sauna.. the gym was tiny and had 1 bench in it that you could blow over… was then charged to use the sauna and it wasn’t working when I went into use it. Lady failed to mention it didn’t work as I was charged 6euro.. I have never been charged to use facilities like a sauna when being a guest in a hotel. Went half board and was refused a free jug of water as it wasn’t part of my “pension” during meal times.. bizarre!

The hotel is located in very centre of Calella, close to the main beach, shops, restaurants, public transport (bus), but not so close to train station. Regarding food, we had half board and for dinner or lunch (you may choose between dinner or lunch and this is a big pro) there was good choice, different dishes every day. Not the same for breakfast, it was the same food every morning. Anyway you won't stay hungry.

The hotel is old and needs some renovation. The air conditioning in our room was out of order. No teapot, cups, glasses in the room. The staff at the reception wasn't very friendly. We wanted more information and didn't get it and received only one key for the room (we were 2 people), which was quite uncomfortable during our stay. The swimming pool is very small for the size of the hotel, only few sunbeds. We even didnt try to stay there.

Our room was on the 9th floor with a nice view over the sea. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location was a few minutes walk to the sea.

At night time it was really loud noise from outside, sounded like some kind of generator or something, and even with the balcony door closed it was disturbing sleep.

Really excellent hotel - all staff we encountered were polite and they all work so hard. Location is lovely, we got a train from Barcelona which was easy. Right by the beach and lots of nice shops and squares. Excellent food options as well and our room was large and clean. The whole hotel was very clean and staff were constantly cleaning and polishing etc. I don't really understand any of the bad reviews and would disagree wholeheartedly with them - maybe certain people looking to get drunk and just eat chips? We loved the local Catalan cuisine and ate things like veal and monkfish and smoked octopus - the food is incredible. The fresh meat at lunch and dinner from the grill is a nice touch and also fried eggs at breakfast makes a real difference. There really is a lot of choice at all meal times. We absolutely loved the paella and it was some of the best we have had; not what we were expecting at a hotel! Yes they have a 2 drink rule order at a time....but you have two hands, so how can you have more than 2 drinks at a time? There were cocktails of the day which I thought was a lovely touch and the wonderful bar staff really kept the drinks flowing. They gave us a bottle of champagne and some treats for our anniversary and we will definitely be back for a peaceful and welcoming stay. We honestly could not fault anything and would recommend this hotel to all of our family and friends. If you want a British experience in Spain, maybe stick to Benidorm!

Everything was great apart from the day we left - this is meant to be an adults only (16+) hotel and there were some smaller children at the lunch service and then in the hotel lounge later in the day. We specifically book adult only hotels as do not want to be around children and the noise they bring- so I hope the rule will continue to be enforced or we would consider staying elsewhere that is definitely adults only

During our stay for 4 days here, we noticed that some people monopolize several deckchairs by depositing their belongings each morning. Unfortunately, this completely deprives us of the possibility of enjoying the sun loungers. It's a shame because we haven't had the opportunity to enjoy it once since our arrival at the hotel. I would like to report this situation to the reception so that measures can be taken to allow all customers to benefit equally from the deckchairs. Sitting on a chair all day and seeing sun loungers that are free but impregnable because of the towels on them can be both physically and morally tiring.

The car park was convenient and secure. The food delicious and versatile. The hotel clean.

The pool was too small for the hotel's capacity. The hotel provides sun beds at the beach but the number is limited and you have to wait in the morning in a queue to get a ticket. Also the restaurant is not big enough for the number of guests and there is also a queue to get in the restaurant.

Everything. There was nothing to dislike! The location was perfect, a few minutes from the beautiful Calella beach. A short walk to the local shops and restaurants. Food in the hotel was a good mixture with themed nights. The room was incredible with the most perfect sea view. The hotel even gave us complimentary drinks for my birthday and use of the spa facilities.

My only grumble would be the closeness of sunbeds around the pool and the gap in the balcony was a little scary.

me and my friend booked this hotel for 4 nights and we’re already booking again. the town was lovely and for the reviews criticising the other guests for being 70+, seeing as i’m 18 and my friend 17, we both loved it. the staff were so attentive, even when we had to ask for new key cards several times and dropped some things onto the balcony below, i didn’t catch his name but the beautiful young man in a blue suit at the reception was so sweet and willing to help us anytime. also the hotel is so exceptionally clean that we couldn’t tell if mirrors were actually mirrors or more rooms💝

All the he staff were super friendly and very helpful The dining room although busy at all times, due to the size of hotel, was run very efficiently and the food was good and nicely presented The hotel and room was very clean

The internet wasn't very good. It kept dropping out and sometimes we had to go into reception to get a signal. Although this is a 4****s hotel, our room was in need of some tlc and towels were smallish and hard. Would have expected a little more luxury.

It was great stay, but I will focus on things what is important for each traveler. 1) We had room with separate beds, but Hotel made them together <3. Room had everything what you need for long stay and TV with 100 canals, in Polish, English, Spanish, French and other languages. 2) In the toilet was shower and bath with shower. Was provided everything for hygiene and shampoo + 4 towels which were changed every day and it was amazing :). Oh yes, also hairdryer+ 3) Air conditioner was working very good, if outside was +37 °C, inside it was possible to make +19-20°C. Just remember to turn it off at night. Also they have additional curtains which don't let room overheat. 4) Food!!! Oh... Breakfast, lunch and dinner, ALL the time they have different menu. We stayed for 9 nights, and every single day it was different menu, even on breakfast they were making different options. Everything was delicious, I will just add photos below. I highly recommend to take all inclusive, so you can order soft drinks and wine with beer during lunch and dinner. 5) Cleaning. Cleaning of rooms were every day! 6) All inclusive if we talk about drinks and alcohol. It is possible to order water, coffee, soft drinks, juice, beer, wine, some of strong alcohol and surprise, surprise, some of cocktails were also included, so don't understand why people complaining about it. 7) Possible to take place at pool if you come till 9:00. If everything is taken, they provide voucher, so you can take place at beach. 8) Very nice people are working at this hotel. Even if they don't speak your language, always were getting good service and things which I needed. 9) Hotel don't look old and they keep it in good condition. So basically I recommend to take all inclusive :)

When you make cappuccino in coffee machine it is automatically with sugar/sweet.
