Staff were excellent, on reception particularly but also the restaurant staff. They seemed to have an experienced team, several guests were at the hotel for the 4th -5th time and they knew many of them by name. This meant that the place was run really well, very efficient without losing the friendliness. The food in the buffet restaurant was really good, with a nice variety and good quality for breakfast and dinner. The pool area was a delight and there were generally plenty of beds. The fitness staff did some excellent classes throughout the day.

The staff at the beach bar and restaurant were no of the same calibre as the rest of the hotel. Not a big thing but they lacked the qualities that shone through elsewhere. The venue and the food were nice, although it was a bit expensive. The other let down is the surrounding area and commercial centre where the restaurants, etc are unappealing. You need to travel along Barossa Beach to find alternative restaurants for nice fresh fish, etc.

Overall the location, near the beach. The number of swimming pools and places to sunbath allowed to have options during the day. I didnt use many of the activities but they looked fun and diverse. I did like the food, both from the buffet option and during the day having lunch in the 2 restaurants near the swimming pool or the one at the beach. Overall it was relaxing and good quality, with cleanliness.

I would really have to put thought to find someone I didnt like. Maybe as the hotel is huge the distances to restaurants and room are quite big - see? a minor item.

A fabulous modern large Hotel. Lots of space. Staff very efficient and friendly. Rooms very good spacious, balcony and lots of spacious outdoor areas

The only real problem is the seasonal nature of things. Arrived in April 26/27 degrees. Hot bedroom. Set air con to 18 was like a heater all night, reception explained central system doesn’t go below 20 until Mid June. Likewise the two very good restaurants only open for food at lunch until June 25 .

Absolutely thrilled with our stay at Valentin Sankti Petri! From the moment we arrived, the staff's kindness and attentiveness stood out. Every interaction was warm and welcoming, making us feel truly special. The facilities were top-notch, and every need was promptly and cheerfully attended to. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a delightful and comfortable stay. Five stars all the way!

They put new water server in the corridor and a bottle to fill up in the room.

We stayed here last summer too and buffet was much better then than this time. People put towels on the sun-bed even before breakfast and leave them all day so hardly able to find available ones.

The experience with our 2 years old toddler was great, personal was very attentive, rooms were comfortable (beds included) . The breakfast was very varied. We could choose from a large selection of food. Everything was delicious. In the evening we did use room service for our dinner, and it was lovely. There is limited options but they are very good on taste.

We knew it but, you do need a preferably a private transportation to be in there. Otherwise, there is nothing else to say. Actually the fact that the hotel is really close to the beach and nature was amazing. Free parking spots. We were in low season and had the chance to find each time but we could tell that there were not many available. There is a private parking, which is not a bad option. We only need to keep in mind this extracost.

This hotel is huge! Wide corridors and ample room in all restaurants and bars, and pool area. The room was large with a big bathroom and tub, which was great. The terrace was also spacious and the best part was it was really quiet to sleep. The bedding was the right weight for the room temperature. The staff were very friendly and professional. The indoor pool was very warm. The beach access is easy and there are some reasonably priced restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The breakfast offered everything you could imagine. Parking on the street nearby wasn't hard to find, to avoid the high parking charge in the hotel. All in all an impressive place.

There was no coffee/ tea/ hot water in the room. No drinking water in the room The indoor pool was full of kids splashing around. Great for kids but not so great for adults. Some of the live music was pretty cheesy. Would be nice if they raised their entertainment budget and brought in some groups instead of solo performers with backing tracks. Maybe they do so in high season.

Beautiful hotel offers something for everyone, buffet very good with plenty of options.

We liked everything about this place. Perfect location, beautiful sandy beach is just around the corner. The place was very big, clean, there were many stuff to do. Nice view from the balcony on the pool area. Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. Every evening they organise a new show, for example flamenco, which we could watch from the cute outside bar. Good price for value, very highly recommended!
