The room was so spacious that there was even an armchair that didn't take up any needed space. The in-house restaurant on the other side of reception was very practical. The breakfast there the next morning was good for Spanish standards although not extraordinary. And they offer a tasty and reasonable priced midday menu. The location of the hotel is relatively central. The reception staff was humorous and very kind.

The lighting in the room was sufficient but a little bit limited, without a ceiling lamp. The moderate soundproofing towards the corridor and other rooms would be a potential minus point, but it was quiet at night. The same applies to the window side facing the street, Calle del Tinte. It had more through traffic during the day than anticipated, but was really quiet at night. A lot has been written in the comments about the ageing bathrooms. I could resist the temptation to buy the hotel a new shower hose. Sure, the bathroom wasn't top-notch, but it was clean and well maintained, apart from the shower hose. But if you want everything to be perfect, you end up with prices in the mid three-digit euro range for an overnight stay. I much prefer this hotel.

Nice hotel in a central location, there is parking outside of the hotel which is paid via a meter and there is parking at the hotel for 15 euros. Checkin was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size and very clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was good with a nice hot shower. View from our room was over looking the pool which was a nice size with sun loungers. Close by to the hotel there are plenty of bars and restaurants and it is a short walk to the city's sights.

Not really a problem for us but there are a lot of pigeons around the pool area, however, the pool was very clean.

Jose and really all the staff are professional and made me feel welcome. The housekeeping staff is top notch too. The dining room is really nice and the food they serve is delicious and a terrific value. Great shower and huge tub; I’ve never seen one quite like it.

It’s a grand old hotel but some of the furnishings seem dated. If this wasn’t the case I would expect to pay a lot more, so there is that.

The hotel is in a fantastic location right in the centre of Ciudad Real. It was only a short walk to the main squares, shopping and bars and restaurants. There was a very convenient car park under the hotel.Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good value as was the whole stay. An excellent night.

The swimming pool was not open and it looked as though it had not been open for a long period. This did not matter for us!

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Ciudad Real must be the friendliest place I have ever visited. Good parking on site for medium large cars. E10. Excellent location for access to town centre shopping. Excellent value for money

I thought the restaurant was a little disappointing. But again,but again, the staff were very friendly.

Bed was comfortable. Room was not small. Bathroom was also comfortable, including a decent bathtub. Close to some decent restaurants.

It's quite dated. The city is not very interesting either. Breakfast could be better. Several options but not great quality overall. Instant coffee for example.

Centrally located. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good.

Air conditioner worked but was weak and didn't cool to a temperature we liked. There was not a thermostat, just an on and off switch.

The team was very kind, the hotel is well located, and offer good infra structure. The amenities, the shower all good. Full kit available at the bathroom was a plus.

Maybe a central light in the bedroom would improve the ilummination at the room

It was really easy to communicate with staff and the room was really nice and great size. It was very clean and easily accessible.

Breakfast could be more diverse for a hotel with a 4 stars, for example with some cooked/fried food like eggs and vegetables.
