The complex was great and the apartment was clean, very comfortable and great value for money. I used this as a base, as I hired a car to get around and see the island. I would recommend hiring a car as it is a rather quiet area, however, this is one of the reasons I stayed here. It is also very close to the airport, approx. 10 minutes by car. Another bonus was the weather was amazing all week.

The complex was great, apartments were comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Apartments could have done with more cutlery and crockery. The pool was very cold but to be expected in winter time.

The hostess was amazing and so helpful and friendly! There was plenty to do with the swimming pool and billiard tables and exercise classes by the pool (I didn't join in with those, but the music was nice to listen to). My Japanese husband and I loved the cats, although if you're cat-phobic, this may not be the place for you. (Actually, if you're cat-phobic, Fuerteventura in general and Nuevo Horizonte/Caleta in particular may not be the place for you. We have a LOT of cats!)

The coin-operated washing machine and dryer is only accessible with a key from the reception desk. This is fine, but it's very much pot luck as to when you can get it. It would have been perfect if there had been a couple more washing machines, or even some kind of reservation option (for an extra fee, perhaps?

The hotel is about 7 km from the airport, in an area with other apartment complex. The staff was very helpful and kind, the apartment well equiped (with kitchen: cooking option, microwave, water heater, fridge). The next supermarket is about 15 min walking (Mercadona, Lidl) or with the car within 2 minutes. The area provides free parking slots. The hotel offers several services and events (sports, live music, a bar at the swimming pool). In front of every apartment is an area to sit. Wifi is good. The apartment is clean (for longer stays, cleaning is every 2nd, 3rd day). Typical guest are British and Spanish people (less with kids). On Sunday, Spanish citizens come for swimming. Swimming in the sea is not possible in this area. For visiting the island, you need a car.

The pool was clean but could be cleaner. Water from the tap (also for making tea or coffee) is not recommended to use. This is for the whole island nonetheless (thus, get your drinking water in supermarkets).

all went well, told reception drains were smelly , moved straight away, great service the maids who cleaned fantastic , we have stayed at many hotels all over the world, this place five star plus, so good in fact,as i write this, booking again for March2025 cannot praise the maids and staff enouth, ok a bit of paint and maintanance needed but for price fantastic.

Rose checked us in by showing us to apt, were we happy and if so to come back to reception to pay. Very nice never before on any sun hoilday was I taken to apt to see it before paying. Lovely clean pool, great music on Sunday with a four piece band. Nice boy working very hard in the pool bar, sorry didn't get your name, food from pool bar was lovely. Beautiful people living there for few months of winter sun Lillian, Duncan, bob a highlight. Everyone made our holiday so much better. Beautiful few bars and restaurants in the area. Like a little village.out of town by 20 mins walk all by the sea and the nature pool for swimming was near by. Right up my street as I swim all year round in the sea in Ireland

firstly l cant praise the staff enough,especially Rosie at reception.Nothing is too much trouble for her and the other members of staff.The accomodation units are delightful and very comfy,they come with a very adequately equipped kitchen.beds are very comfy.lots of hot water.No complaints from us.The pool bar is well stocked with food and drink.5 mins walk to nearest bars and restaurants.A good bus service to and from resort or a 5/7Euro cab ride into the local tourist town.We will certainly use La Pyramide again.Thank you all at la pyramide for making our stay a very pleasant one.BW Richard and Carole.

It’s what we expected! If we wanted five stars then pay more , the bar is open with bar food if you want it from 9am till 11! The cleaning ladies were very friendly and hardworking all the rest of the staff very friendly also

I assume this was once a bustling state of the art resort, before Caleta came along and spoiled Costa Antigua's party. The faded glory is still there, and the staff keep going. Beds were comfortable, and the apartment was good.

The boiler wasn't great, the water pressure for the hour water was poor. A little investment in pool furniture wouldn't go amiss. Otherwise exactly what I needed at the right price.
