Modern hotel, 10 minutes walk (see below) to the centre of Cuenca. Nice outside area and good quality tapas served with drinks orders. Underground parking for 11 motorbikes was very good. Room was good size with excellent shower. Breakfast was good for 11 big hungry bikers.

We were unfortunate in our dates, it was a holiday Monday. Firstly, the chef rang in 'sick', so suddenly and without warning there was no dinner available - only ham croissants and burgers. Secondly, the air conditioning failed in some of the rooms so the bedroom temperature was 28 degrees not great for sleep. The receptionist told me this was being fixed (as we departed). Only that I had prepaid the hotel, I would not have paid full price for the lesser services.

Clean, nice staff, great location near the old town.

All in all, it was a nice hotel. There are a few issues. I cannot believe that a four star hotel does not provide an in-room kettle for boiling hot water, so that guests can make tea or coffee. At this hotel guests are expected to bring a cup down to the restaurant where they will fill it with hot water. This is ridiculous, it’s something you would find at a hostel. The hotel has satellite television in every room, but there is not a single channel that is broadcast in English. 🤷🏻‍♂️ The breakfast buffet, while reasonably priced, was very so-so. While dining on one of these breakfasts, I witnessed several guests walk into the buffet room and then turn right around and walk out.

No parking space available in the hotel garage. Apparently a common issue, having read other's comments on the matter. The staff explained that customers have to "book" a garage space at the time of booking a room. They informed us that we had two options; park on the street and pay per hour ( free parking from 5 pm to 8 am) which is inconvenient or park across the street in a subterranean parking lot ( again per hour fee with a max of €20 when you park overnight)) which we chose. Note: Be swift to exit after paying through the self service automatic payment. Otherwise you will not be allowed to exit if you stay more than 5 minutes from the time of payment. You will be charged €0.20...

We liked everything. Very clean, spacious room with a fabulous view of the Old Town and hills, comfortable bed, pillows. Two men managed the breakfast buffet each morning and did an excellent job. We opted to include breakfast and glad we did. A plus was the large outdoor terrace with umbrellas, music - they offered sumptuous mussels while we were there (not on the menu). The men who manage and serve on the terrace did an excellent job as well. It’s a great place to hang out. Seemed to always have a nice breeze. This was a plus to us. We enjoyed the walk particularly on the return trip from Old Town to the hotel, which is primarily walking down down down and took us about 20 minutes, but we like exercise and have no physical issues. We made a lot of trips back and forth during our 5-day stay. The walk up into Old Town is up up up, but we enjoyed that too. A couple times we took the bus (either the 1 or 2 bus) up 1.20 Euro. It seems to run a little late at times but weekdays is every 30 min, weekends every 60 min. Bus pickup is right around the corner from the hotel. Old Town bus pickup ends around 9:30 or 10:30ish PM depending on the day, so one night we walked back because there was no bus & we were there quite late. Old Town seems to close down around that time as well. We absolutely loved Cuenca, Spain. The place is gorgeous, historical, had some good meals. We certainly recommend Hotel Torremangana and certainly recommend Cuenca, Spain.

The hotel was comfortable and fairly well located, although it was a bit of a walk to the old, historic part of town. We very much appreciated the underground parking available, and the opportunity to lock up our bikes in a separate room. The staff were helpful with advice about the area.

The only thing we would really have liked was to have had a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in our room, or at least in some corner of the hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Torremangana. The check-in was quick and easy with the helpful concierge. There was a secure place for us to park our bicycles in the garage. Our room was large and had everything we needed, including a little refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room was very clean. There is also a restaurant connected to the hotel. The location of the hotel is great too. It's right by the park and the walking bridge over the river is nearby too. An uphill walk of just a little over a kilometer will get you to the cathedral in the old town.

Everything was good.

The breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. We also ate in the dining room for our evening meal which we also enjoyed. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we had an excellent night’s sleep. The location for the old town was perfect.

These days modern cars tend to be larger and these undergound pillared car park bays make manoeuvering a challenge. Fortunately, we were up to the task- just.

When we were too late to book one of the more historic hotels in the centre of Cuenca I reluctantly chose this one, rather concerned that it's score was much lower. So we were very pleasantly surprised.by our experience here! Spacious rooms, very clean and professional, great parking with a lift straight from underground carpark to our room on 4th floor. Good range of breakfast items including fresh fruit. We travel a lot and this hotel deserves a much higher score. We also found it very easily as we approached Cuenca.

I would be a very fussy person to find fault!

Easy to get to and close to the town for restaurants and shops. Easy walking distance to old town (20-25 mjnutes) but up steps, which requires a level of fitness. Staff friendly and helpful

Car park was a little pricey and air conditioning barely worked leaving a hot stuffy room. Couldn't leave windows open due to traffic noise (boy racers) late evening into early hours

Location is very good and had has on site parking for a fee (€16 per night).they also offer a breakfast for about €15 which is reasonable and convenient. Bed was super comfortable

Rooms are A bit old and in need of some love. It would have been great if they included tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms (but this to be a standard in many cities in spain I have noticed).
