The beds in this hotel are superb. Like the staff it's a thank you from me. As a pilgrim I've stayed here a few times. Sometimes one night sometimes 2 nights and this time 4 nights. I was showing a pal the Camino Frances after a week on the Camino Norte. We stayed in Vitoria gasteiz then carried on to Estrella. On the morning we bussed back to puente la Reina, well I'll be honest l, we bussed back to Maneru. We didn't have enough time to walk up the hill from puente or the lungs. Maneru to ciraqui is one of the great one hour walks of the Camino. Like many other stages I could describe it's just fantastic, as ciraqui drags you in. We walked on to Estella and it was great. Our packs were carrying nothing and our room had been checked into and so it was a perfect Camino break. Next day we walked to Los Arcos and got the bus back after lunch at pension Mavi. Anyone doing the same should know the bus stops outside pension Mavi around 17:00. So check the time, go in and have a great lunch then bus back for 3€. Next up we got the bus to Los Arcos walked to Logrono and got the fast bus back. I think it was headed for San Sebastian and was 6€ but worth every penny. Again I love Estella as it has loads of places and when you're a pilgrim you walk in and put of people's life's. I usually have 3 days in Leon too and train back to Sahagun. The staff here as I said earlier were brilliant Thank you and see you aoon

Loved the rooms - comfy beds and heated! My room only had 4 of us out of at least 8 beds, so I felt lucky. The kitchen was really nice. The staff was nice and allowed me to store my bag since I arrived early.

The locks on the lockers didn’t work but the rooms had key cards to get in so that helped it feel secure. Only 2 toilets/showers on my floor but it was separate for men and women - no issues with availability. Europe seems to like to use motion sensors for lights (presumably to save electricity), but it is annoying to shower in the dark… ;)

I was walking the Camino and booked a basic room to myself to have some rest. The room was big and very clean. I had twin beds which I didn’t really need, but welcomed. The shower was fantastic and very hot. There’s very little space between the toilet and shower cubicle, but it’s nothing to complain about. In the shower there was soap and shampoo, and also hand soap. The room had a window looking out over an alley and some trees, and could be opened for air. I liked the communal kitchen on the first floor and the tv room on the 2nd. My room was very quiet. I slept well.

I honestly don’t have much to complain about. I absolutely loved my stay here, but the room did get a bit hot later in the day and during the night and when I opened the window, I had a mosquito fly in.

Location was fantastic. It was close to stores and restaurants. Being located on the square was central and very helpful. I would stay here again.

It was helpful to have laundry facilities (for handwash as well as machine). The drying area was small and in the shade, however, so clothes would have taken a long time to dry. The kitchen facilities were fine, but closed at 10 p.m. and didn't open again until breakfast was served at 7:30. I would have liked to store my food in the fridge, but I was leaving much earlier than the kitchen opening time.

At the back end of Estella so not on the main Camino route. Welcoming staff who speak Spanish/English. Very clean with comfortable bunk beds and pillows. The disposable sheets are handy but not the best quality. I was the only female on the floor so I got the shared bathroom to myself, however had to stick my arm out of the shower a few times to get the sensor light back on. Kitchen was also decent sized and great to relax in instead of being stuck in the shared dorm - also a fridge to store food, pots and pans, chopping board to prepare dinner etc. Right next to a busy-ish plaza but because it was a Sunday it was very quiet as everything closed, so a very peaceful stay overall.

Great location near a couple of very nice restaurants.

Walls are a little thin and you can hear your neighbors but that was the case in almost every place I stayed along the Camino de Santiago.

I stayed in an 8 bunk female only room with it's own bath and lockers to store backpacks. Near restaurants, sites, and Camino path. There's a coffee shop/bakery directly across the plaza that opened at 6ish which was nice for leaving early for the Camino.

The staff use the same washer/dryer for their laundry as the guests, many who are on the Camino and don't always have access to washers/dryers.
