The hotel is maybe a 10 minute walk (if that) from the centre of Girona old town - very convenient. My room was a small single, good air con, comfortabe bed, with a fridge, so that I could buy in some breakfast and eat it in the communal area on the first floor. I was in Girona for the cycling, and my bike was kept very secure in a designated storage area. The staff were very friendly, spoke excellent English, and were always happy to help. Thank you.

One issue for me, which I appreciate is probably small depending on how you look at it, and difficult for the staff to legislate against, was that even though it was a non-smoking hotel, some guests still chose to smoke in their rooms and because of the design of where I was in the building, the smoke drifted down a kind of open interior balcony area to my balcony and my room. If you were on a different side of the building perhaps it wouldn't be an issue.

Friendly and helpful staff on the front desk. Clean and spacious room that was simply decorated in a modern style. There was very little noise from other guests.

Another side table for the second bed would have been useful, and there wasn't really enough storage space for clothes (we were staying for 8 nights). We booked a premium twin room, with a sofa and balcony, but were initially put into a room that didn't have these facilities. This was quickly rectified, and we were moved into the right room. But I don't think the first room should have been classified as premium, when it didn't have the same facilities.

All the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful! The hotel itself is very conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk to the train station and also very close to the old town, which is absolutely gorgeous. The room was very clean and well kept, and a big bonus is that the staff refills the big glass water bottle in the room for free, no need to buy fresh water from the store. There is no in-house breakfast, but the hotel has an agreement with a nearby bakery which serves a delicious breakfast menu to a reasonable cost. There is also free wifi.

We got a huge room with a very spacious bathroom - most hotel rooms are the exact opposite, so it was a nice surprise. The receptionists was super friendly. There is an electric kettle in the room with some tea and instant coffee and a coffee machine in the common kitchen and dining area, the coffee was great. The hotel is located right in the city centre so you can easily walk to all the sigths.

Girona is a busy city so parking can be a challenge. However, we found a spot in a car park right behind the hotel for 2.40 euro for 24 hours!

The room was extremely clean and comfortable. It was a nice touch to have a steamer, hairdryer and bottle of water there. The hotel was 2 minutes from cafes for breakfast. It was also right between the shops in one area and the old town was 5-10 minutes walk away. Sunday evening is quiet for restaurants. We asked the receptionist for a recommendation. She suggested La Miranda which was excellent. They were extremely helpful for taxis etc.

For the price this accommodation is outstanding. Excellently positioned just on the outskirts of the old town. Perfect for a short trip. Mattress was on the harder end of the scale, which was to my liking. Rooms have aircon and a fridge, which is very helpful. Free coffee and croissants at breakfast in the lounge. A lovely bonus. Staff were excellent, even checking us in early. Free bag storage is available either side of your stay. Brilliant and would happily stay again.

To be picky, the hotel entrance is small with a small elevator. Decor is a little outdated but clean and practical. Our particular room was at the rear with no view - but was a very good size and had a balcony to the inner courtyard.

Great location in the center of town, close to Railway station and to the Old City. Big and clean room for the reasonable price.

Hostess lady did not let our frends help us to carry our baggage to our room because they are not guests of the hotel. Also she asked me number of my credit card and it's expiration date in case if we would broke something in the room. I do not travel much but it was the first time hotel asks from me these sensitive information. I find this very odd... Poor soundprooving.

The staff were very friendly

There was a miscommunication between staff members regarding the possibility to keep the bikes in the bed rooms. I was told by phone and by message that it was possible to keep the bike inside the bedroom but upon arrival we were told that it was not possible so i had to show the message to show them that I was told otherwise. Although the hotel had a special room for bikes we didnt feel comfortable leaving our bikes there as it seemed very small and there were several bikes to put there so we didnt want to take the risk to have our bikes damaged by people moving bikes and stuff

The location Possibility to stay longer with box for luggage and extended hours of parking garage.

Very slow check in. No place to park in front of hotel on busy boulevard. The gate of parking did not open when we left. So had to walk back to hotel and Somebody had to come with us to open gate. Charge a deposit of 100€ at arrival and do not reimburse at check out but later. Not use of that in hotel…

The common room was great and we could make tea and coffee. Our bikes were safely stored for us but lift too small so we had to carry them upstairs. ( we are in our 70s). The room was large but on the street corner so noisy. Staff were very efficient.

The streets around it were dirty and rundown. It wasn’t a cheap stay compared to others on our 5 weeks in Spain.
