The location of the hotel was a short five minute walk from the station which was excellent for us in order to make our train to Barcelona. We were very pleased with the accommodations made at the front desk when we requested that we could have a late check-in due to our flight times. The process of checking in was quick and easy, as was checking out. Our stay was comfortable and affordable, providing us with everything we needed for a short stay. This is a brilliant choice when looking to stay in Girona or just outside of Barcelona.

We have no further comments for things we didn't like. Everything required for our stay was excellent.

Bestprice Hotel Girona exceeded our expectations, staff were all lovely and super helpful, facilities were clean and neat and the location was great, everything within walking distance and lots of public transport available nearby. The room itself and the bed were very spacious as was the bathroom. The staff let us check in at 2am after our flight was delayed as they have a 24 hour reception, and also allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel after checkout as we had a late flight. Would definitely stay again.

A fridge in the room would have been nice, but not essential.

This was probably the best hotel I stayed in on my trip. The location was fantastic - just a short walk to the historic zone and close to the train station. Parking was easy and close by. My room was bright and clean and the bed was super comfortable. I had the most space to move around in (solo room) that I’d had all week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While the room didn’t have a kettle - there was one in the lobby. The only thing really missing for me was a fridge in the room.

As mentioned - having a fridge in the room would have been very helpful as would a kettle.

I have stayed here several times. Really convenient when I'm travelling solo as just a short walk from the train station and 10 mins walk to old town. Best Price Girona is the only hotel I know (so far) which has a large single bed in the cheaper rooms for 1 occupant. So nice not to be squashed in a little single bed when travelling alone! Rooms are simple but some thought gone into travellers needs - a help yourself coffee machine in reception (1 euro), for example, safe luggage storage and really helpful reception staff.

I probably wouldn't choose breakfast next time. It's at a nearby cafe. which is fine and perfectly pleasant but there's loads of cafes in Girona.

This hotel is absolutely spotless! Fresh, crisp bedding, modern, great air-con and not a single crumb on any surface! We booked a family room and it had a king size bed and two singles beds so it was perfect for a family of four. The hotel staff were absolutely lovely - so helpful and responded immediately to any questions using the booking.com app. Audrey in particular was extremely accommodating - thank you Audrey! Checking in and out was easy - breakfast in the local cafe was excellent value - only €7 each for fresh orange, coffee, a croissant and a donut (all freshly baked!). One of our children has severe allergies and the staff were so careful and attentive in finding her something to eat. The hotel kindly stored our luggage so we could explore the old town which is just a 10 minute walk away. Behind the hotel there is a supermarket for snacks, water etc. We arrived late at night and sadly the shuttle we had booked through the hotel failed to arrive - so we got a taxi which was a long wait! However, the hotel were so so apologetic and the next day they organised a taxi to the car hire office FREE OF CHARGE! We had planned to get bus, so this was a lovely surprise! Thank you Best Price Girona - we would definitely stay with you again!

Everything was perfect!

Location, Location Location, 5 mins from train station, Barcelona fast train 40 mins, Perpignan 40 mins so brilliant Location. Spotless Spotless Spotless, u could eat off the floors so clean. Bed fantastic, pillows a no no...3 days of pain in my back and, shoulders, hard pillows not for everyone. Nowhere to sit in bedroom for 2 people. In lounge area 4 people can sit, so very very small.No fridge to keep water no facilities for making tea,coffee. No air-conditioning in room...in the reception area u can make tea,coffee for 1 euros and get lots of snacks 1 euro..Staff friendly and chatty. I didn't eat breakfast but for price looked very good. It seemed like a hotel for people and they're bikes, great hotel for cyclists. Taxi from airport for a 20 minute drive 40 euros, bus 2.85 which the hotel let us know and gave us bus times. My overall rating would be to say great hotel for cyclists. I wouldn't stay again due to pillows, fridge, seating and very clinical looking, however I would recommend 👌 it but not for me

I booked it in a rush without possibility to cancel but then started to read comments where people are complaining about 1) small rooms - well, you can book a hotel outside the city with bigger room but you will need to think about transportation. Besides, rooms are not smaller than Ibis Budget. 2) noise from the street - it depends, you may get a room with windows to another side (I got such). Again if you book a hotel in the city you will have to tolerate noise. 3) not polite personal - my experience is opposite. In general it is not that bad as some negative comments say

probably it is common in Spain to have double bed sheet to 'wrap' a blanket instead of classic duvet cover. In my opinion it works only for people who sleeps like a robot

Breakfast had very little choice and consisted of a lot of bready items, but staff was polite and helpful in the cafe where breakfast was served. The room was lovely and clean, sheets smelled beautiful of freshly washed cotton, bathroom was excellent. There were loads of electrical points and a full length mirror both hard to find in hotels. It would have benefited from a mini fridge and a bit more space but in all I’d definitely stay there again.

Could have had a mini fridge and sound proofing would be helpful it was quite noisy at night.

Perfect location. Close to the train and bus station and a short walk to all the tourist attractions. A physical person on reception is always welcome. The booking.com confirmation email I received mentioned a €300 cash deposit on check-in but I wasn't asked for any cash or any deposit at check-in. The room was small, a single room, but it was actually with a very comfortable good sized bed and had a locker and space to hang clothes. The heating in December cold was perfect and the sound proofing was quite good. The room was cleaned every day but towels are replaced on request and that is €3 per towel replaced.

The shower cubicle was a little tight but not too big a deal. The bathroom was otherwise clean and comfortable to use. There could be a common room/space with microwave etc that will make it easier for guests to eat their food in some comfort and not in their rooms (where there is very little space anyway).

The room was sparkling clean and the bathroom was big. The shower worked perfectly well and the beds were comfortable. We walked everywhere because although the hotel wasn't at the city center, you could get there if you walked 10min. Very friendly staff!

The air-conditioning was very strong. If it was off, it would get too warm. If it was on (even on the max temperature 25°), it would get cold because it was aimed at the bed and the room is not that big. We only have a sheet to cover ourselves so some kind of cover would be helpful.
