The location was about as good as it can be in Hermigua as it is pretty much in the centre of the very linear village and near the church and an excellent restaurant just 50 metres away. The terrace attached to the room had lovely views across the valley and the fridge in the room was really useful.

There was a central point with a kettle for making tea and coffee but this was not really geared up for tea as the cups were tiny coffee sized and there was no milk.

Very nice hotel, looks very cool in that rural area. Very good location in the centre of a long Hermigua village. We were even able to find electrical charging for a car, though not very close. Parking is available nearby along the street. Great view over the mountains!

Well, all is good, but we expected much better based on the reviews. It felt a bit callous. In that nice building you felt like you would be treated similarly. But the personnel seemed not to take care much about you. Also, we had great expectations of the breakfast, but it was just decent. The floor squeaked, and you can't do anything about it. And it was rather hot. Yes, we knew there would be no A/C. However, even a floor conditioner (very strong by the way) didn't cope with the humidity. Open windows also didn't help. At the end, it's not all the time really hot on La Gomera, so it's probably not always critical.

The Space in my Hotel room was what blew me away, also I liked that there was high ceilings. The staff were exceptionally helpful even with my limited español, they went above and beyond to ensure I had the optimum experience. I like that on the 1st floor, when standing near the self-service coffee table; there was a partially open roof. This gave a beautiful view of the Church’s Clocktower and let it in a lot of Natural Sunlight, this enhanced the beautiful architecture of floor number 1. The balcony was what sold it for me. The property is a short 15-20 Minute walk down to the Rocky Beach and is very picturesque. The breakfast the hotel provided was exceptional, they ensured I was well fed. The Waiters that delivered the food were very friendly and inviting which allowed for a more relaxed experience. (Sidenote: As i took videos of the room, i don’t have still photos, however the photos on the website do provide a very accurate likeness to what my room looked like.) There’s so much more I could talk about but I’d rather you experience it in person!

The breakfast that they provided was exceptional, it’s a shame that the restaurant wasn’t open too, as i would have liked to try more of the local cuisine. I liked the Bathroom/Toilet Room, however the Colour of the tiles i liked even less. I feel as though instead of Red colour, a brown or light cream would have stayed on theme for the whole hotel and hotel room. On the other hand, it was VERY spacious in there.

Great location, beautifully refurbished building, friendly staff who gave good advice about local restaurants (hotel restaurant closed for the winter apparently). Cosy room.

Breakfast buffet adequate but a bit uninspiring. Hot water tank for room only enough for 1 shower - then have to wait 15 mins for it to re-heat.

Lovely hotel building and location for our one night stay in February travelling by bicycle. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Jacuzzi was a bonus. Great location and views from the sun terraces we’re wonderful.

Only minor points but Our room was very dusty, this could have been because there was a dust storm and the windows had been left open before we arrived. Also the bathroom was a little tired, very leaky shower cubicle and the hot water didn’t last long enough for two showers one after the other.

Very nice building and room with a balcony right in the centre of Hermigua. Great centre for walking and for getting dinner in the evenings.

On a couple of occasions we found that the smoke from people smoking on the communal balcony next to ours was coming into our room which was unpleasant.

The situation, just in front of the village's church. The views from the terrace's room and from the roof. The ambience, a mix of tradition and modernity. The quiet.

A little hot. A ceiling fun could be great.

The staff were great, the facilities of a high quality, the room had a massive terrace/balcony, and the rooftop hot tub was a nice touch

The breakfast on the first day was really good and for some reason, on the second day, it just wasn't up to the same standard

The three main perks of the place are the amazing attention and care of the staff, the incredible quality and value for money of the food and the brilliant location toured over by the hills of La Gomera. The food is all locally sourced from the island and cooked to a Michelin quality level at a really affordable price. The staff are outstanding by their attention, care and friendliness. The location is perfect, a short walk from the beach, loads of mindblowing hiking routes and the terrace is toured over by the hills. A breathtaking place. The rooms are lovely, in a wonderfully well restored old house, with a large internal courtyard, beautiful wooden ceilings and even a hot tub on the upper terrace.

Two single beds instead of one large bed but I think this is a Spanish custom.

We absolutely loved this property! Very friendly and attentive staff, has an excellent location in the heart of La Gomera. Beautiful and very well preserved historic historic building, delicious breakfast and pristine facilities. Highly recommended!
