What a unique place for a special Basque experience! In the middle of lush countryside woodland, the location is stunning and amazing for walks and the tranquility of nature. The staff are welcoming, dedicated and take pride in offering guests a generous, authentic experience. Stay half board, the food is excellent for both breakfast and dinner. They have passive solar heating, solar panels, two enormous pigs and they make and sell their own delicious cider! The overall experience is what hotels ought to be: heart -warning and memorable.

The jacussi in our room didn't work. At least the plug system was broken!

The hotel is located in a very peaceful place in a beautiful region. They have 2 big pigs, which is funny and they have served jamon for breakfast, it was also funny))) Overall, for a short stay the hotel is nice. Very very comfortable beds and linen, silence during the night, the room was clean, the lighting was is weak, but still okay. The breakfast was good. Two men are doing their best to make a comfortable stay.

I cannot think of something, it is just an eco hotel in the middle of nowhere, but still has its romance.

I was thinking if I share my good review and the place will be always fool because of that… a bit jealousy and selfish you know ) We loved our stay here, which unfortunately was only for one night. Easy to reach thanks to comfortable forest road and private parking space. Although the hospitality at the first sight can seem strange and not very welcoming, it is not so. The gentleman Santi will love to introduce you the variety of food and drinks and tell the story of this lovely house. The food was delicious and we recommend you to try the local cider with cheese. The big room with the real ancient chimney made our stay with my wife even more romantic. Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to use the jacuzzi in the room, it looked lovely though.

Bad internet connection, but you won’t search it in a such place.

The location is beautiful, isolated in the mountains but very close to a village. The house’s decor in general made the place very cozy. The lovely patio, overlooking the mountains, is perfect for a meal. We had a fantastic lunch there, in the patio: the food was great; the location and the soft jazz music playing made the experience unbearable. We loved it. The room was cozy, charming, and comfortable. And the owners were very accommodating and friendly. We just had a perfect stay and would love to come back.

We liked Everything. Room, hotel, food was exceptional. Had evening meal, first class and breakfast was excellent. Best value for a Hotel we have ever had. Lovely gardens with stunning views. Just remember that is is a converted Basque Farmhouse and it retains all of its original features. Staff were so nice and attentive even to our dog who thoroughly enjoyed the attention. Would definitely visit again when driving through.

This would not be a good choice of hotel if you wanted to be in the middle of town, but for me, that's exactly why I chose it. It's remote and beautiful, and only 8km from the AP15. This was a one night stop for me travelling from Bordeaux to Valencia. The room that I had was huge & on a level without stairs that made it easy as I was travelling with my dog. The jet bath in the room was lovely. I slept so well, probably due to the peace & quiet but also due to the extremely comfortable bed. I had the three course meal option in the evening. 30€ that was not only delicious but also great value as it included a bottle of vine. Thank you. I will be back next time I travel this route ☺️

I did miss having a good Internet reception, but as I was there for one night only, I managed to read a book and relax away from the online world. The Internet does work in some areas, but it's a bit patchy

Location in the hills. Private but isolated. Welcoming atmosphere and hosts. Walks right out the door. Main appeal being its unique character. It’s really quirky- in a good way. A hidden gem for those of us who seek and cherish the out of the ordinary. Not your generic establishment. V welcoming of pets. The food was absolutely delicious and surprising.

The staff were great in particular Santiago. My father had a medical emergency and at 2am Santiago spoke to the emergency services and drove him to the medical centre. He stayed until 4am to make sure my father was OK. Many thanks again, he was very empathetic, calming and went above and beyond. Management allowed us to stay in the room till late so we could sleep some more. Also the breakfast was great, fresh smoked salmon, baked breads and cured meats and cheeses.

The hotel is in a very remote location along an unkept and steep driveway The walls are quite thin so you can hear other guests Deluxe suite stated 2 double beds but only had one

Nice views and proximity to trails. The owners put much effort into details of the hotel and helped advise us on activities nearby and alternates due to weather changes. The dining was good and service was very attentive.

We liked it all. Maybe bathroom ventilation for humidity could be a remodel topic noting that this is a very historic building.

Amazing site in the heart of Basaburua Navarra Oak and beech woodlands full of kites, owls, foxes, deer, frogs.... Amazing quiet environment with the simphony of the woodlands at nights. Food in the hotel couldn't be better as you can enjoy amazing local food cooked as in the better restaurants. Very recommendable. House built in wood and nice local rural details. Excellent house. The guys are very kind and attentive.

Some customers didn't respect the environment. Being a wooden building noise travels. WiFi poor if busy. And mobile networks sketchy. Which it could be nice. If you want to be off the greed.
