Well ordered hotel, old fashioned in a nice way. It was very clean and staff are friendly and professional. The garden/terrace areas are very pleasant places to dine or have a drink. The pool is a good size. Our room was large, clean and well-equipped with a large balcony for sunbathing and great bathroom with amazing showe. The room-and the whole hotel was tranquil with lots of bird song and trees around it. Dinner was very pleasant.

I didn't like the way some hotels (including this one)only put a sheet and not a duvet on the bed, as, if you use the air- con, it can then get rather cold. Pool is not heated. There is no actual bar. Hotel is a good 15/20 minute walk into the center- but that isn't the fault of the hotel!

This is the third time we have stayed at Villa Jerez and each time has been an absolute pleasure. The staff are wonderful and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Our room was, as before, a good size, very clean and the beds enormous. We were very happy with breakfasts which offered a wide variety of hot and cold dishes. These we ate in the beautiful terraced area close to the pool. We also enjoyed eating our evening meal on the terrace and were more than happy with what was on offer.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, that's why we come back. It's a little gem.

Lovely hotel, just outside of the main centre of Jerez, but located well near to local area restaurants and the famous Andalusian Horses. Nice to have a a good sized pool, albeit the resident pigeons seemed to like it too! The grounds around the pool needed a bit of TLC with weeds and grass having a slightly unkempt look. Staff were absolutely amazing, lovely, and really helpful. Rooms , large and clean. Would definitely return.

Very nice hotel. Very clean large room comfortable bed. Staff very helpful especially the gentlemen in reception. The hotel is a 15 min walk from the centre - we were very happy with this. Lovely garden and swimming pool but unfortunately we couldn't make use of them because of the awful weather.

Breakfast was only average. Poor for a 5 star hotel. Hot cooked breakfast was cold. Limited selection of cereals. We've had much better breakfasts in lower rated hotels.

Lovely traditional hotel with excellent staff, particularly Paco who helped us with restaurant/tapas suggestions, gave us directions, talked about the history of the Villa etc. The pool is beautiful and an oasis of tranquility. The room was spacious, clean, plenty of storage and an easy walk into the town centre.

A full length mirror would have been good . Breakfast was ok but not as good as I thought it would be in a lovely hotel like this.

Welcome at check in was very warm and friendly. Room was outstanding in terms of size, comfort, quality of appointment and value. The service and the ambience for meals at the restaurant and outside were excellent too. Food was lovely. Staff everywhere were friendly and most helpful. Although not located in the old town centre the hotel was excellent and we would stay there again.

Warm welcome on arrival. Given lots of helpful information about the hotel and city. Special thought given to us to celebrate our anniversary. Large room and balcony with pool/garden view. Quiet place to sit by the pool in a lovely garden. Nearby restaurants.

Walk into city takes about 20-30 minutes which some might not appreciate. We enjoyed the daily walk along pretty avenues.

Very kind and attentative staff. Lovely wel decorated rooms. Indeed a true boutique hotel. Setting is peacefull with a beautifull pond in front with sculptures in the water. Quit pool area with birds signing in the trees. Ideal for a few days stay when visiting Jerez. The place is less equiped for children.

The (small) restaurant menu is way too long with to many dishes. A nightmare for the chef and as a result the produced dishes do not meet expectations. A pity, because the setting on the terrace is perfect.

The hotel is small (just 18 rooms) but it is a beautiful old building and has everything you need. The room was very spacious and well laid out. We loved the pool area, it was never crowded and there are more than enough sun beds. The only meal we ate at the hotel was breakfast, which was very good. The old town is about 20-30 minutes walk from the hotel but it's worth it as there are some wonderful shops, restaurants and bars. There are also some restaurants and shops very near to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved this Hotel!!! It is a really beautiful building, with a great ambiance and old world charm with a modern twist. From the moment we arrived, the service from the concierge was absolutely superb, and his his helpful advice and recommendations were spot on. We were travelling with another couple, and both rooms were really lovely. Nicely decorated, spacious, with magnificent bathrooms. The pool, although small, was very pleasant after a hot day exploring. Breakfast and bar service both excellent. At all times we were made to feel like important and valued guests, and that all of the staff were keen to make sure we had a good stay.

Not a major, but Villa Jerez is a decent walk from town, so we usually took a taxi one way. It is an easy walk (5 minutes) to the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and to the Sandeman Bodega.
