The hotel itself was spacious, the bedrooms were comfortable although a little dated but very clean. Food was varied, plentiful and of good quality. The staff work very hard to keep everything running as smoothly as they can which I would imagine at times can be pretty hard going when the hotel is at its full capacity. All we wanted was a change of scenery that was close to the beach, somewhere to chill and recharge our batteries that offered good food and drink. This hotel met all of these needs. There was lots of entertainment both day and night if you wanted to be a part of it but also plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and chill.

The area was surrounded by lots of shops, bars and restaurants that for whatever reason had stopped trading, therefore left in a poor state of repair. This was very sad to see. I'm glad we decided to upgrade to A/I as this may have been a problem. We hadn't come away to spend our time driving up and down La Manga trying to find something different to eat and drink every day.

We were only there for 4 days beach bar closed on Easter Sunday and Monday not good. Breakfast is a nightmare total chaos... there should be allocated times or suggested times...to alleviate the pressure and stress for the client and staff I found the salad bars amazing great bread... lack of choice of fish I live in Spain and no prawns on offer... too much pork not enough chicken .... no seasoning on anything really bland... maybe rethink your chefs.. why don't you have a grill near the beach area burgers chicken hotdogs with real sausage sandwiches takes pressure of the canteen at lunch time

We stayed for 9 days, the location was great, room on the first floor, with easy access via stairs, easy requests via hotel own App

The various food was boring after 5 days, same ingredients rotated in few days. All entertainment was designed for old people. Room walls are thin, late night music from hotel entertainment was disturbing after 10pm. Should have more staff in dining room during the weekend as clean tables and food refill was slow.

plenty of comfortable sun loungers, views excellent on both sides, food plentiful especially lunch. Bar service very good.

We felt it was a little ruined by the school children running riot in the hotel and around the pool, we did see somebody complain to one of the monitors who didnt seem to be much older than the children, and obviously could not control these children. obviously they were here for their whitsun half term break and if we had realized we would have chosen a different week

the room was spacious and clean with a walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable. We also used their washer and dryer since we had traveled for several days and needed some clean clothes. The washer came with detergent and was 4 Euros and dryer was 3 Euros. We liked they had daily activities and in the evening, we enjoyed Bingo and Karaoke night. Staff was very nice and helpful throughout our stay. The All Inclusive package was a great touch. One day we missed lunch and walked next door to a great Italian restaurant for pizza. Overall great stay.

Very relaxing break hotel is right on the beach so ideal location if looking for somewhere to unwind. Outside of the hotel aside from the beach not much going on so bear this in mind if you're looking for more than relaxing by the pool or on the beach. Food had plenty of choice all inclusive is a must for soft and alcoholic drinks with the pool bar open til midnight. Entertainment was good too.

Not worth the extra money paying for a room with a view of the medals looking across a road and a closed down commercial area.

Breakfast was great. Plenty of choice and nice and fresh. Room was a great size, with a large terrace and view of the Mar Menor. We chose to have the evening meal on one night and it was very good.

There was an annoying vibrating noise, thru the night, in the air vent. Even tho the A/C was not in use.

I loved the facilities, the swimming pool area, entertainment for both adults and children, the option to have a shallow warm sea for children and the bigger sea with fresher water and waves

We had a great 10-days stay at Doblemar! Everyone of the hotel's team is working really hard to keep the hotel clean, tidy, to amuse us in the evenings, to keep order in the restaurant despite the great amount of people in it and, last but not least, to welcome us warmly at the reception and make us feel like home. We received more than wonderful tips at the reception for places-to-visit in La Manga which made our stay more than pleasant in this pearl of Spain! Gorgeous beaches within a minute distance, a great variety of food offered during breakfast. A lot of fantastic restaurants and bars in the surroundings with gorgeous food and drinks! The elevators are quick enough bearing in mind that the hotel is big and almost all the time full. Thank you, AluaSun Doblemar team for your hospitality! We will definitely come back again!

Breakfast and dinner were great. Really good selection of foods and although we are vegetarian there was still plenty choice.

The only negative was that all the shops around were closed and we had wanted to hire bikes but bike hire options also were closed.
