The room was clean and quite spacious, with partial sea views. The air-conditioning worked very well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was buffet-style with plenty of choice and good coffee (Nespresso). If you choose half board or full board, set menus are available with three choices of starter, main course and dessert. Half board is usually dinner, but it is possible to change to a lunch option instead, which gives you the flexibility - just ask in reception. The hotel is right on the seafront and you can walk along the promenade in both directions, either towards the centre of L'Ampolla (approx. 600m) or in the other direction as far as Lo Goleró, which was about 2km. There is a small beach just across the road from the hotel.

The outdoor pool is quite small for the size of the hotel, but very handy for a quick swim. It would be good if there were more hammocks by the pool, there are only 12 so they are usually taken by the first guests. A few more would make all the difference. We used the car park, but only on the first day. Unless you have a very small car, it is very difficult to access and the parking spaces are quite small. I would strongly recommend parking in the streets nearby.

We accidentally stayed at the Flamingo Hotel, Dec 25th, due to a flat tire. We had a lovely room with balcony overlooking the harbour. Superfriendly staff, in the restaurant and at the reception desk. But receptionist mister José exeded all our expectations by calling several garages to help us out with our flat tire at Christmas. So friendly and patient!!! Thank you so much, it felt very much like Christmas because of you. Furthermore nice food, great location and our little dachshund was also made very welcome.

We booked a one night stay economy room to break our journey so we were not looking for a sumptuous room with a sea view. We got what we paid for and were very pleased. Meal in the very pleasant restaurant with impressive views of the Ebro Delta and harbour was very good. We had monk fish and puréed buttered potatoes. Wine was good and very reasonable.

Our pillows smelt a bit stale. They were clean and so was the bed but it was as though they’d been stored for a long time. I have no doubt they would have changed them if I’d asked but I was tired.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The room was clean, the receptionist very pleasant and helpful. Lovely location with a lovely beach just in front of the hotel and a promenade to bring us into the village centre. There's also a small outdoor pool and sunbathing area.

Car parking underground was a little tight, but slow careful driving was fine and our car was secure.

Beautiful location, professional staff, large comfortable rooms with King size beds and great mattresses. Parking on site for €5. We ate in the Restaurant, plenty of choice and everything lived up to its description., well presented and delicious. Breakfast buffet, again, plenty of choice and everything was fresh and replenished regularly.

If you have a large car, manoeuvering into the parking spaces might be a bit tricky

Wifi only one of us could get access on one laptop. No coffee/tea facilities in room or hotel reception or anywhere and very much needed after arrival after a very long drive and in evening and at Breakfast as only one of us could go down to breakfast as we had a dog. That is also the reason we couldn't go down to dinner but did see Room Service.

Room, dinner and breakfast were all of standard expected at this level of hotel. Staff were a lot friendlier and more professional than last time. The room was spacious and we knew it would not have a window but a small balcony was nice to wake up to.

We paid 78 EUR for the room and 85 EUR for dinner, however, if we paid for half board when booking we would have got dinner for much less than we paid. It would have been good to be given the half board option on arrival / in the restaurant, and not charged the full amount.

Beautiful hotel in stunning location. Everything we needed for our stay. Staff were lovely.

Breakfast service was slow on replenishing the food that was running low - we opted for the later sitting for breakfast & there were limited items available. Waited for additional items to be topped up, but that didn't happen - advice would be to go to breakfast early as what we did have was nice.

Location great, staff friendly, bed comfortable. I had to leave early so couldn’t try the full breakfast but the staff prepared me a picnic for the road. That was a really nice touch. Otherwise walking distance from the beach and downtown, which is perfect. We were able to park right in front. Great for 1 night!

The room with with only a roof window was ok for 1 night as a stopover during a road trip but if longer, better to upgrade to a room with windows. The outdoor pool was a bit small so if there is already a family there, it feels crowded to have a swim. The indoor pool is heated but also has no windows.

Spacious room with sea view from 3 windows. Great bathroom with a bidet which helps to save water and a choice of bath /shower. The fridge in the room contained two welcome bottles of water and no extra unnecessary items. There was a bar in the hotel. Liked being able to use the machine to get hot chocolate without milk.

The two breakfast sittings should have helped with ensuring there was adequate scrambled egg/bacon but l timed it wrongly. A second bottle of water in the fridge on the second day would have improved my life. The car park coped with my small car but access/exit could have been clearer.
