The Roca Plana is situated in the pretty seaside town of L'Ampolla, overlooking the marina. There are plenty of excellent restaurants, cafes and independent shops along the promenade, which has a cycling lane as well as a walking area, and a variety of beaches within easy walking distance. The restaurant within the hotel is excellent in itself, serving local Catalan cuisine and a variety of other dishes. (Multi-lingual menu if you don't speak Catalan or Spanish). Continental breakfast was good, and was included in the price of the stay (which came as a nice surprise). The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. There is air-conditioning in the room should it be needed. The ensuite bathroom was a good size, with a shower above the bath. Both the hotel staff and the restaurant staff were pleasant and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a nice hotel, top location, and a very friendly staff and atmosphere.

There’s only a few (minor) points that could be improved. The showers could be a bit higher. For longer people they are a bit low. But what’s really missing is parking possibilities. If this can be improved the hotel would be even better.

Hotel is in an excellent location. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and we had a good view. Breakfast was a small buffet, fresh and adequate.

Lack of storage space. Just a small wardrobe with a few hangers but no drawers so cannot unpack.

Proprietors are lovely I had an issue with my bank card and they were so nice about it lovely hotel and location

Spotlessly clean, very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast limited but, hey, it's free! Location excellent.

No mini fridge in room (we're English and like a cup of tea but nowhere to keep milk) Just 2 power points (one in bathroom), but we managed ok

The hotel has a fantastic view over the Harbour and is very central. The rooms are spotless & the staff really friendly. We hope to come back.
