This is clearly a very well run hotel, where the staff have a great team ethos and were either efficient or helpful or both. This might partially explain its popularity even in late October, and also included a mix of locals for El Classico game night, where the place was packed. Floor 4 rooms have a slight height restriction with the slope of the roof, but we're well furnished, and the bathroom excellent. The price was very good value and included a buffet breakfast that offered a full range of cold and hot foods.

Sometimes the dining staff seemed over efficient.

We've stayed at this hotel numerous times and keep going back. It is good value for money and in a perfect location. A family run hotel who are all very friendly and happy to help any way they can. We travel on a motor bike, and they let us park on the secured area joined to the side of the hotel. So we have complete peace of mind. The buffet breakfast is plentiful with a good selection of food and drink. The food from the menu is beautifully cooked and presented, and the menu if the day is very reasonably priced. The bar is well stocked, and the bar area on an evening looks lovely all lit up. The beds are big and super comfortable The hotel is a five min walk to the beach. Near all the shops bars and rearurants and maker day is on a Thursday on the streets.

The only problemswe find is that because of the stone floors you can here other guests scraping chairs and tables about on an evening. (I take ear plugs) There is only one English news channel on the TV. There are no kettles in the rooms so take a travel kettle.

Friendly, well run hotel, good food, breakfast, good variety of choices, pet friendly. Bar and pool, clean and tidy as you would expect Stayed here for 2 weeks over 8 years ago, improvements have been made to doors and security of rooms, rooms tidy and clean, the owners certainly reinvest in the property keeping up a highest standard as possible considering the age of the property Nice to see the staff again I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone

A British family was talking loudly and laughing to early hours in the morning 2am in pool bar area, this upset our sleep as we were travelling early in the morning. Not the fault of the hotel, just the ignorance of thought and consideration by a few guests having a good time and drinking till late

Friendly staff

We are not keen on the double plastic coated beds/cushions as un hygienic, sweaty not personal. Would prefer individual sunbeds/deckchairs. Noticed the red life ring is hidden behind foliage and very worn. Should be visible at side of pool at all times for health and safety and tested regularly. An area for a quiet drink without football screens would be preferable as there's no quiet area to sit for those who do not like football. Even front bar on road has a screen.

We live in the Baix Ebre area of Catalunya, and decided on a mini break to the Provinica de Girona. Having visited the lovely city of Girona, we booked to stay in L’Estartit for the first time. We chose Hotel Nereida, based on location, size and previous reviews. A very warm welcome from staff on reception and our requests were met by the hotel. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, bathrooms are well appointed with excellent shower pressure and plenty of hot water. TV and free WiFi everywhere. The rooms have air conditioning which we appreciated as it was quite warm. The pool area is beautiful and plenty of shade. Food and drinks at the hotel are great value. We stayed with breakfast included. No complaints from us on both hot and cold choices. The staff throughout have excellent customer service skills and we cannot fault the Hotel Nereida. Plenty of free parking in streets around the hotel, the beach and Paseo approx 200m from hotel. If you’re thinking of visiting this area, then Hotel Nereida is certainly worth staying at, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to all who made our stay a pleasant one.

absolutely nothing to dislike

Lovely relaxed chilled atmosphere. Clean room. Great restaurant attached to hotel with very good food and prices. Lots of choice at breakfast. Quiet at night. Aboutt a 10 min stroll down the road to the beach. Easy to park underground (at a cost). All staff were really friendly too.

Liked it all. We were very happy.

Ideal location, spotless throughout, all staff from management to cleaners were very helpful and friendly, we definitely would highly recommend this hotel and we definitely will be returning

Nothing at all

This is our 3rd stay at this hotel, coming back for 3rd time speaks for itself. The staff are wonderful, food is wonderful, the Balinese Beds are absolutely fabulous ( NO CHARGE, unlike other hotels!! My partner loves Diving and he has nothing but great things to say about his Diving Experiences with them. We will be back again, maybe this September , hopefully!! Maureen and Jim from Edinburgh

My only gripe, but it is with most hotels is the when the have to put two beds together to accommodate a Double/Queen bed. NOT the Hotels fault but I never feel Hotels get it right with the lump in the middle, and they look Massive!! Again it is what is done in most hotels so no slight on The Nereida, I will be back

Loved the location Facilities were good Lidl near by as well as great restaurants. Their restaurant and bar was good value and great taste Close to the beach Really helpful and friendly staff Room was lovely and clean

In 404, couldnt figure out how to turn off/on shower. In 112, beds were hard. On site parking would have been nice.
