Simple,very clean, spacious room and very nice staff

Nothing (we didn’t have a balcony or patio which might have been nice- but we didn’t book one)

The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They were constantly cleaning and the hotel was spotless. I took my 84-year-old mother away with us and they really looked after her while we were there. It was a great location 1 street back from the seafront, with the main high street and shops in the street behind us, nothing was more than a 5-10 minute walk and all very flat (great for people with mobility issues). The hotel restaurant had good food with about 6-8 courses in each section. You could walk directly out of the back of the hotel to all the main shops and restaurants. We went in August but there was no loud music playing anywhere to disturb you. The pool area (which was across the road) had plenty of beds and tables and chairs with bid sunshades and an undercover eating area. Our superior rooms faced the other side of the hotel, which overlooked the pool area. The rooms were well-appointed and the balconies were bigger than those on the standard room. There was a hotel car park which cost 12 Euros per day and there was a lift. The free breakfast was a good continental with 'hot' food and fresh fruit. The room had aircon with remote control. All in all, I would say this hotel is closer to 4* than the 3* it currently has.

good location, close to the beach etc. sufficient breakfast at the beautiful open terrace. very efficient and fast communication. AC in the room. Room is very clean and comfortable, modern. There is outside pool (across the road) and parking (paid additionally)

Not sufficient insulation between rooms. Price was high, but it is not related with the hotel - high season issue.

Very good breakfast on a roof terrace boasting a nice view, beautiful quiet pool and an excellent, high-end-ish restaurant on the ground floor, I would definitely recommend. The staff were amazing, it's reasonably close to the beach (3 min walk) and the shopping area while not being on the main road, so... a calm area.

The rooms and bathrooms weren't the biggest, but the balcony and amenities make up for that. A/C kind of old, but working alright.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a well run hotel. The location is great and nice to have a pool.

The double bed was two single mattresses pushed together so they kept separating in the night.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Santa Anna in L’Estartit. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach and town. The room was spacious, clean, and great for our family with two kids. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the on-site restaurant was excellent. Highly recommend!

Hotel restaurant really could do with re think. Menu mainly. Surroundings fine. Would love to see it full every night. We still love the hotel.
