Location at the end of Gran Via and next to “ Plaza España”. Metro station on the front and Bus stop crossing the street. They clean the room everyday and change bedding every three days.

Per the room, the bed and pillows are hard. They have a rooftop, but it does not have good service or no music at all. To be specific, the rooftop is nothing else than the view and small bar. The bartender does not come up to you, and there are no appetizers for your enjoyment. On New Years Eve, the rooftop did not do anything special. There was no speakers or TV to follow a countdown. Not to mention there was people that paid to be there, but the bar absolutely did not facilitate any special kind of service given the occasion.

The location was really central! Staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel was super modern and the soundproofing for the busy Gran Via was perfect! A really comfortable, clean room with a great bathroom and a comfy bed. Will absolutely be staying again - we loved it!

There isn’t much if any shade up on the rooftop and in the pool! My only criticism - easily fixed by avoiding in the middle of the day but some parasols would be great!

The hotel is in a great location.

The staff are not very helpful or pleasant. The cleaners had not left items for the bathroom, I phoned reception and asked for them but they didn't arrive. There were male staff in the foyer who seemed to be porters but never offered assistance with luggage. On check in the girl spoke so fast and seemed completely disinterested. On check out when we went to reception the staff didn't ask if we enjoyed our stay, was everything OK, just ignored us.

Wasn’t a dislike but the pool and terrace area was not big enough for the size of the hotel.but no complaints I had no faults in my stay

The hotel was amazing, location, cleanliness, service was of high quality. In addition to this, the staff members were really nice. I would like to thank Paula for her constant support through our stay, would definitely come back again when visiting Madrid again.

Absolutely everything. They upgraded us to their nicest room with windows overlooking Madrid in every direction and two huge outdoor terraces. The room was beautifully decorated and felt very luxurious. We loved the rooftop bar. A nice crowd and atmosphere even though it was November. Breakfast was amazing. On the top floor, in the tower, with all kinds of continental breakfast, Spanish delicacies and treats and to top it off also hot cooked options made to order. Paula at the reception was very kind and friendly. We felt at home. In fact everyone at the hotel was very friendly and fun. Location was perfect. We walked everywhere, but there’s also a metro stop. Very easy to take a taxi to the airport.

Great location at the end of Gran Via. Very clean and modern. Room was spacious as well for 2 people. There is a sky lounge at the roofdeck with a great view.

We had a situation during our last night when we lost one of our paperbags which contained the jamon and snacks we bought, as well as our portable weighing scale. It was impossible we took it out the room during that day as I clearly remember it. The staff was helpful enough to coordinate but I didn’t feel they had a lot of effort to compensate and just relayed what was mentioned by the housekeeping. Good thing it was only minimal and not major items! But it contained gifts for family and we had to buy again since we cannot retrieve them anymore.

Staff were beyond accommodating. The property was exceptionally clean. The location was fantastic - right next to the metro, on the Main Street too. Air con worked fine, the rooms were very spacious. The beds were large. Everything was walkable distance.

The only thing I’d say is the pool isn’t entirely usable. It’s very small and often crowded. So if you’re looking for a hotel with a pool, this shouldn’t be one that you consider for that reason entirely. This didn’t affect us though as we didn’t use it/didn’t want to.

Loved the family room concept. The rooms are compact and immaculate. Live the decor,bathrooms and attention to detail in the decor. The breakfast and the views from the rooftop are both fantastic. Located close to the metro station, bus station, Hop on hop off stop and plenty of shops and restaurants. Absolutely buzzing area!

The curtains don't block light enough and since my room was facing a huge illuminated billboard there was a glare that disturbed me since I need my room nice and dark to fall asleep. Also I feel the windows are not very sound proof. Since the building is right on the main road there is a fair amount of noise that filters through. Madrid is a place where there are late night parties and sounds can keep you up all night if you are a light sleeper or want to turn in early. This didn't bother me much but just incase the hotel wants some honest feedback here it is.

We had such a great experience staying at Dear Hotel Madrid! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Miriam at the front desk—she was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Honestly, she set the tone for the whole stay. Every single staff member we interacted with was just as lovely—always smiling and ready to help. The location couldn’t be better. You’re right in the middle of everything, with the Plaza de España metro station literally just outside the door and several bus stops close by. It made getting around the city super easy, and we could walk to so many great spots like Gran Vía, the Royal Palace, and Puerta del Sol. The hotel itself is beautiful—modern, stylish, and with an amazing rooftop view. We felt so comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. Would absolutely recommend it, and we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
