Great Location, breakfast had excellent variety, clean.

When we made our reservation 3 months in advance, we asked for a room with city view. The hotel replied back, that they were trying to accommodate our request. They did not and did not even notify us ahead of time. Our window was opening to a small smelly lightwell , with a restaurant’s kitchen opening to the lightwell on the first floor.. Getting fresh air to the room was futile. Also the two twin beds are permanently attached, if you don’t want to sleep in the same bed with your companion, it’s something to consider. We booked our room through booking, paid for it right away, but we got several messages that our reservation was to be cancelled if we don’t pay the hotel directly.

The location is fantastic

Breakfast is not good enough and there are onky few varieties. They must need to add up more options for a good breakfast

The location is a stone’s throw from the metro stop at Plaza de España and well located to all the attractions of central Madrid. The room on the 9th floor was spacious and we even had a balcony which had amazing views, especially at sunset! Everything was clean and the beds very comfortable, with the air conditioning working well and quietly. We love having a kettle to make a cup of tea or coffee too. There was no noise during the night - no traffic or other guests were heard at all.

The lifts are very small when you have a bit of luggage, but this is very common in this part of Madrid in the older art deco buildings.

No signage for how to work the shutters. This would be helpful to have ! But excellent service from the staff who were kind and responsive. I liked that we could contact them via WhatsApp. Only issue we had was loud noise at 4am on Friday coming from outside. Not the hotel’s fault, but made us worry that the location wasn’t a good choice. However Saturday (which we presumed would be worse!) there was no noise. Other than this noise, the location was perfect . A bit difficult to find at first, but we were next to the metro , big street of shopping , and short walk to all the major tourist spots of the city. It was also a nice surprise to have a balcony !

The location is exceptional. It is a hostel though. Because they mistated that all TV had WiFi they gave us one of the best rooms they have. Corner room over Gran Vía that was very large and comfortable with ample space for 2 large suitcases and 2 carry-ons with small backpacks. They wouldn't have fit on the regular or superior rooms. Staff was nice.

It is a bit convoluted on the floors and one section of rooms you have to walk a flight of stairs to take a secondary elevator. They turn the heat off at 9pm and won't turn it back on until 9am. But the have an a/c with heater on the wall. However it didnt work.

Location right in the centre of Madrid,we could walk to most of our destinations (except for the stadiums and the airport 😄). Breakfast was great and the room was very clean (they cleaned our room and changed the towels daily). Bed and pillow very confortable. The staff was very helpful and they kept our luggage for a few hours when we arrived.

We did not have too much natural light in the room because our room's window faced other walls on all sides. The walls seem to be very thin and we could hear as other people were walking in their rooms. But even with these things, next time we will definitelly choose again this hotel.

Thevroom was very comfortable.amd spacious. The twin (2 singles) beds were big. There was a little cozy bacony with two chairs. The air conditioning worked perfectly and there was a big wardrobe and a little fridge to store drinks and food. The breakfast is very good and they offer also a gluten free option upon request. The location was super. I do recommend staying at this hotel for anyone who wamts a good value for money hotel at a very good location Madrid.

The location is unbeatable- right in the centre of the centre, everything within walking distance. The lovely receptionist on the ground floor helped me with the taxi, she even went out with me- there were police cars in the front and taxi couldn’t park. Breakfast was adequate for the price- would’ve loved to see some other fruit (like in the photo)-other than just oranges. Wifi was great.

I went to ground floor receptionist on my second day to ask if I can pay cash for local buses- and he couldn’t tell me. Maybe it was his lack of English… Got my answer from Google.

I upgraded the room and it was large with a balcony/terrace which was a bonus. The location is central and convenient for most places in central Madrid.

The hotel setup is a bit odd, with a ground floor reception and another on the 6th floor. It shares a building with several offices and a medical centre so doesn't really feel like a hotel. The room was comfortable and it was good to have a kettle. Some of the furnishings were a bit old fashioned. The lifts are tiny but we were on the 9th floor so did use them!

Privacy, location in Gran Via, near Plaza de España and Palacio Real. Lot of places to eat nearby.

A little difficult to find. Coming from Plaza España, is right side, not left as photo shows. If come in Taxi, you can get offing that area; you can see a Burger King. Then walk uptown looking the entrance of Buildings. 1 of those halls have the name in the wall.
