The room is really old and needs a facelift . The big bed was actually made of 2 beds . 2 old and uncomfortable beds. A small suggestion it will be to change the 20 years old TV. You can find in the market cheap and functional smart TV .

The location is excellent - just a one minute minute walk from Plaza Espana, and a 10-15 minute walk from Puerta Del Sol. Lots and lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops in between. It's a really busy street so the vibe is great and it's easy to access public transport (buses and metro) as well as taxis/ Ubers. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was pretty good, and the wifi was excellent. I'd happily return.

No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Sometimes no hot water in the shower - it was fairly unpredictable, which made getting ready in the morning a bit challenging (especially on cold days). Would be great if there was another (or a faster?) lift.

Loved its central location, which provided easy access to the subway and all the areas we needed to visit. The family room we booked was spacious and well-suited for our needs, making our stay very comfortable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience and family-friendly accommodations.

The breakfast lacked variety and was the same every day for our 4-day stay, which became boring. Additionally, there are only two lifts, so during busy times, it took a while to get one.

Location is excellent. 50m from Plaza De Espana Metro. Breakfast excellent, with a great choice of hot & cold food. We tried the bar a few times, but nver managed to actually be there when it was open! No big deal though, as plenty of food options within 5 mins walk or less. Room was large and very clean. All staff were very friendly.

The location of the hotel is great in the center of Madrid, in a vibrant main street and close to many tourist places. The room was clean and cosy. The breakfast and the service were good. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great value to price hotel.

The room was well equiped but it was missing a water heating kettel. The room was well cleaned and arranged each day but the towels were not changed.

The location, central and close to everywhere. The ease of reaching the hotel. The staff who, without exception were welcoming and polite. The beds were good quality and very comfortable. The room adequately heated and clean. Breakfast was what you expect and again, the staff friendly and welcoming.

The shower may be a little difficult for those of reduced mobility.

Good option, located in Gran Via, close to the main tourist hot spots in Madrid (Plaza Callao, Plaza España, Puerta del Sol, etc.), metro stations (Plaza España, Santo Domingo, Callao) and shops, restaurant/bar/cafes. Breakfast options were excellent and delicious. Staff also very kind, always willing to help you. Rooms are well soundproofed.

For those people who like to stay in quite areas, this is not a good option.

The room we stayed in, a triple room, was spacious and immaculately clean. It provided a cozy and inviting environment for my family's weekend getaway. The en suite bathroom was well-appointed, and the amenities provided ensured a comfortable stay. The air conditioning was perfect for the season, and the satellite TV and free Wi-Fi were much appreciated. The service at Hotel Madrid Centro truly stands out. The reception staff was not only professional but also incredibly friendly and helpful. Their recommendations and assistance with our inquiries added a personal touch to our stay. We felt well taken care of from the moment we arrived.

The hotel's central location, while convenient for sightseeing, also meant that there was a fair amount of noise from the bustling city streets - not a problem for me but light sleepers should know. Thicker soundproofing or better-insulated windows would have made for a quieter and more restful night's sleep.
