This was such a great location. You're within a few minutes' walk of a lot of key attractions and dining. The prices are more than reasonable for Madrid too. When we came in the staff was very friendly and gave us a map and suggestions of nearby sites. The room was very spacious and had a little kitchenette. Bathrooms had plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. If you're athletic and like to walk or run on holiday, it's fairly close to easy parks and the river. Still, the best part was how friendly the staff was. The lovely lady who checked us in even called fifteen minutes later to ask how our room was and make sure we were settled and answer any questions.

There's a kitchenette but no common utensils or things to use in it. We didn't need it but I'm sure the staff would provide it if we'd asked. Not a complaint, just clarifying for readers. :)

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and everything was spotless, from the lobby to the common areas. The reception staff was exceptionally friendly and always ready to help with any requests. The hotel's location is another big plus, it's close to the city centar,making it easy to explore restaurants, shops, and attractions. Despite bring near everything, the hotel remained quiet and relaxing. Overall, it's a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel with excellent service. I would definitely stay here again !

The location of the hotel is simply amazing, with all main attractions within walking distance. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The staff themselves were incredibly welcoming and pleasant, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was a good size for a family, providing enough space for everyone to be comfortable. A particularly nice gesture was the two small bags of candies left for the kids, which they absolutely loved.

There were a few drawbacks. The room felt quite gloomy, as the only windows opened onto an internal shaft, which didn't allow much natural light to enter. This made the room feel a bit closed off and dark. Additionally, arriving late and finding that there was no complimentary bottle of water was a bit disappointing. After a long journey, it would have been nice to have at least one bottle of water readily available in the room.Overall, while the location and service were excellent, the room's lack of natural light and the absence of complimentary water upon arrival were minor inconveniences.

Marble floors were extra cool in the heatwave! Airconditioning was working faultlessly! There was a microwave and kitchenette; and the lovely lady on my first day generously found me a kettle to use for a cup of tea. Every member of staff was so professional and ALWAYS friendly - didn't grab everyone's name but Justine was exceptionally great at her job! So nice to have smiling friendly faces on the front desk to greet you daily - ready and willing to help with any question. Finally the LOCATION - you are a mere hop, skip and jump away from the city's famous Gran Via. Take the one-minute short cut around the Shangri-La Dim Sim bar and you're suddenly on Madrid's busiest shopping street, with hundreds of restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and takeaway places to choose from for meals, churros, coffee (or a four-euro frozen mojito during heatwaves!)

Noise carries through from room to room due to old architecture - however easily solved with a pair of earplugs. Lift is old and quite slow but shuts quickly, potentially catching little fingers or hands! Be cautious!

Spacious room overall, excellent location on a quiet street, while being just a few meters off gran via and plaza de españa. Very helpful staff overall.

Bathroom design was weird, wc place very tight, with huge space for a useless bidet. The other room we booked was wider and better designed

The staff were very nice and helpful with whatever I needed and the room was amazing, very spacious and comfortable. I also liked the hotel was very close to the central areas, Plaza de España and Gran Via.

I think the price could have been cheaper given the hotel lacks facilities. I expected the hotel to have more facilities.

Very big appartment, clean with comfortable beds. Conciergerie was very helpful and nice

The kitchen burners was not supposed to be used (this was not in the description). It had not plates, kitchen utensils or saucepans. We could request few plates and some cutlery, and used the microwave. It is a shame

The room is very clean. The staff at the front desk are very helpful, kind and always smiling. Also the cleaning lady is very friendly and cleans very well. I highly recommend this hotel. The area is near the metro, very nice location close to everything. We only walk going to gran via, sol. Etc. In general, everything is perfect!!!!

Justina and Leticia are truly assets to this property. They went above and beyond to help us and super accommodating. the rooms were very close (just one room in between), the bed was clean and comfortable, and the location was ideal to walk everywhere.

I don't have anything bad to say about my stay in this hotel.

So close to all amenities including the metro so we went direct from charmartin train station metro to plaza de espania and the hotel was a 2 minute walk. All the shops bars and palace are walking distance

No kettle to make tea that’s all really. It was a large spacious room with kitchen so the 3 of us felt very comfortable it was just the kettle. You need to hold the shower head when turning the shower off or the head will fall down but this was ok. The air conditioning was excellent
