We had a late arrival coming to Málaga for a weekend city and beach break on a Friday evening and an early outbound flight on the Monday so thought it wise to choose a hotel close to the airport.The main reasoning for this was the superb rail link from the airport to Málaga old town. The cost of staying at the Málaga Nostrum and still paying for the short Uber ride to the train station was so much better value than the majority of medium range hotels in the old town. The staff especially the night staff on our late arrival were courteous and well manered as well as informative on getting in to the city centre. Uber works out much cheaper from the trip from the airport to the hotel as well as visversa ( roughly €11) and the train fare is €4 return that brings you out at either of the two city centre Málaga stations . The rooms are spacious and if staying on a cooler night have a cracking hot air heating system..The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and the housekeeping staff honest and professional..Even though obviously the hotel is situated in an industrial area with it's proximity to the airport it seems like an oasis when you step through the gates. Breakfast is well worth the $12 and with it being a buffett option we snuck some items out to have later In the day on the beach close to the port. If you want to save some money for a better hotel and don't mind a short easy travel to the city then book without hesitation! If this is not for you then don't put a poor review moaning at the position of the hotel. Obviously if only using the hotel for a stopover for a flight then none of the above review is relevant.

Local taxi drivers take the Mick going the short 3 kilometres to the hotel if you arrive late at night so download the Uber app and pay half what the taxis charge.

We stayed one night as we had an early flight. It was raining so couldn't use the pool and didn't have breakfast as we checked out at 4am but the beds were very comfortable shdvthe shower good. Out only issue was the aircon was not working in our room so it was incredibly stuffy and so we didn't sleep well. A member of staff came up to help but couldn't resolve the issue. Other than that would highly recommend. It was 30 euros to the airport which is super close and what we paid for getting to the hotel and back into Malaga town earlier in the day. I guess the time we took it may have been the reason for the cost. All in all good and would stay again

Great friendly staff, great food, relaxing coffee in the morning and beer in the evening. Lovely comfy bedrooms and the pool was something else that helps one unwind and replentish. People might have written reviews complaining about the hotel being too far from the city in a suburban area but being near Torremolinos and the airport plus with a good bus service and taxis on standby at hotel reception I had no problem. Rather, it teaches that one has to search deep down to get the best kept secrets in town. And this hotel is an absolute treasure. But what makes the stay so memorable is when you come over to have a break so one can replenish only to have a wonderful moment in the midst of your holiday that delivers the message in such formidable fashion. This is the crowning moment that, together with the excellent hotel service, seals Hotel Málaga Nostrum Airport as a place where moments are to be treasured. Opportunity exists once one looks for them. Time and Perseverance it takes, but the right time, right place for the opportunity to become the moment; it matters, then it shows. Most people at breakfast appeared to use the buffet only . I knew there should be hot food options and so asked a staff member who seemed To have no idea what i was talking about . I asked another staff member who produced a hot food breakfast menu . These were contained in an ice bucket right in the corner and listed the hot food options included in the price we had paid . We had an egg with roast vegetables dish and this was delicious . Why was this so hard to find and menus not on the tables ?

Thank you for the messages reminding me of our stay, discount offers for attractions in Malaga and very clear reminders of deadlines for payment and non payment! I loved your texts!! Ever before I arrived you made me Jane and my best friend H so welcome!! You did not disappoint when we arrived!! The room 109 had a lovely atmosphere on entering, was warm and welcoming and suited our needs. It was very clean, comfortable bedding, had a great shower and very good facilities, such as plenty of power points, fridge,and a roomy bathroom, desk space and seating for 2 in a room for 2. Water was also provided and thank you so much for that!! The staff were awesome!!! Everywhere we went we couldn’t have asked for more from Team Hotel Malaga Nostrum Airport, whether it be the reception team, where nothing was too much including a welcoming service, ordering taxis for us, providing support on travel guidance and the most friendliest of staff. The restaurant team at both breakfast and dinner, they couldn’t have done any more! They were professional, friendly, approachable and ensured we had everything we needed. They took the time to talk to their clientele even though they were busy. The room service staff were also amazing, very accommodating, friendly and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met!! We had crisp bed linen and towels every day. Examples totally unexpected for us include calling the lift on hearing us come along the corridor with our cases. On departing this lovely lady who was servicing a room opposite the lift heard us coming along the corridor with our cases, left her duties in the room opposite the lift to very kindly call the lift for us and wished us a good day in the process! Another very kindly left us into our room when clearly the mobile phone had interacted with key door making it inactive saving us a visit to reception. Thank you!!

There was nothing not to like, however we got back after 11.00 pm one eve to find we couldn’t get any food or drink on site as hotel had shut. There is no room service so that was a bit of a downer as we were hungry and would have liked a soft drink / alcoholic beverage. When back late it would be good to have a room service menu especially as there is a fridge already in the room.

We arrived to Malaga after midnight and needed a place close to airport for 1 night. This one met the critera as the location is only 15 min drive away. When we arrived we were quite pleased with the room's size. The room had overall a pretty good comfort level but the best parts of the stay were breakfast and roof top swimming pool, both exceeded our expectations.

Location of course is not perfect if you are planning to stay a longer period in Malaga (but as we were looking for a place for only one night this was not na issue for us )

Very convenient for Malaga Airport - just 10 mins taxi ride. Hotel is very modern, clean and quiet. After our BA flight was suddenly cancelled, this was a friendly oasis. Lovely staff and a great dinner. The breakfast was excellent with so much choice. If we needed to stay near the airport again, this would definitely be our Go-To hotel choice.

There was nothing really to dislike. The location of the hotel seemed a little strange, in a commercial/industrial zone near to the airport. However this was not a problem at all.

It feels like you are next to or part of a brothel and casino. A strange location and atmosphere.

Room 121 doesn't have a full body mirror. It's winter and they opened the windows in the room and it's not noticeable because it's covered by the curtains. So it was very very cold at night.

After reading the mixed reviews I was very apprehensive about booking this hotel especially as it was just myself as a female traveller and my young daughter. On arrival, we were early and were offered a quiet room (121) which was ready straight away - perfect! Lovely spacious and clean room. Air con works well, the most powerful shower ever, fridge and bottled water provided. It was a very quiet room. We didn’t hear anything from the outside night life or casino. Now the best part - the roof top pool and bar! You have to try the cocktails absolutely delicious. The pool area was lovely and the bar man worked really hard to keep everyone happy, towels are provided for free and tables are cleared quickly. Also, food was available to order and have here at the tables. Pool and bar is open until around 8/8.30pm every night. Special mention to the staff - from the receptionist to the bar man and the waiting staff - all lovely and polite. The only major downside is the location - you are literally on an industrial estate but perfect bolt hole if you have a car to get around. We didn’t hire a car so used taxis to visit Malaga and Torremolinos and the rest of the time relaxed by the pool. Taxi from airport definitely recommended and is around 20-25 euros (use the FREENOW app). We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as we aren’t big eaters at breakfast so I can’t comment on that but we did regularly have lunch / dinner which I can’t fault. We used Deliveroo for some groceries and take aways. This was the last trip of our holiday and honestly for the price we paid and the facilities it really was the perfect peaceful end to a busy 2 week travelling. Would definitely recommend.
