The Hotel is very comfortable and convenient for the airport. Our room was stylish with a super king size bed, seating area and patio. The pool and beautiful garden are relaxing and within walking distance of a fun casual seafood bar at the coast with tables on the beach. There is some noise from planes taking off but there is good sound insulation and good blackout blinds in the rooms and we were not disturbed.

Very odd that pool towels were not provided in the rooms- the hotel uses a 10€ deposit system per towel. The hotels we usually stay in provide pool Towels as needed and are exchanged each usage or on request. Hotel booked a taxi to airport for us and advised that the trip takes 5 minutes and was charged at €15 but taxi driver asked for €20. The hotel should know the cost of a transfer as they book them every day?

We liked the room, the staff and the location to the beach

The pool and jacuzzi bath were not clean. It was the first day of opening after the winter season but nevertheless the pool should have been cleaned. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and replaced our tv card as it wasn’t working properly. We had an issue in our room number 22. On the day we arrived the weather was particularly wet and cold and we wanted to warm up the room. The air conditioning monitor had a heater indicator that wasn’t working. We couldn’t turn on the heating but nevertheless the beds were so comfortable we got warm eventually. It was a pity these things went unnoticed before the property was reopened. I would still rate the property at 9 and 10 possibly if there was a little more attention to detail before opening.

Nice area. Suburb with large houses, one of which was the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was clean, and furnished with care. Beds were comfortable. Inviting garden. Communal lounge area. Buffet breakfast small but varied. Close to the sea.

The hotel was small and felt quite transitory. More motel like than the boutique hotel I had expected. 80s decor in the room. No tea and only 2 complimentary cups of coffee in the room. All other drinks, including bottled water, were in the fridge and had to be paid for. Only net curtains. No obvious places to eat, although staff were helpful in giving directions when asked. Breakfast impersonal. Completely self-service.. The hotel is out of town (30 mins on the bus), in the suburbs and a ten minute drive from the airport, in a bit of a no man's land. Tor Torrential rain led to some rooms flooding. Luckily not mine!

We stayed at the Malaga Picasso on our last night in Spain, based on it's proximity to the airport, for an early AM flight. It was convenient and attractive with plenty of street parking for our rental car. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood, not at all like an airport hotel. Because of our short stay, we didn't use any of the amenities, but the hotel has an attractive yard with a pool and seating. There are a handful of restaurants within walking distance.

For our purpose, this was a great place to stay.

Very convenient, quiet, residential and pretty location, near bus stop number 5 that takes you to the city centre, near a really nice Veroda bistro, shops too and the beach. Room was spacious and had a really lovely patio. Staff were lovely and easy going, nothing was a problem. Let us check in earlier, the pool and garden is amazing. Really thank you the the lady that restocked our coffee pods/milk every day.

We did have an air con problem, which was dripping all day and night but then the technician came and fixed this so this can happen. We also had a blackout twice, so no wifi in the room, which was a problem for me because I had to work.

All rooms have good locations with a private patio. Some rooms open to the back garden and pool area, with larger patios. Rooms are sound proof, very quiet and well-appointed. Breakfast is exceptional and self-served from a large buffet with eggs, bacon, fruits, breads, croissants, cereal, yogurt, with tables in the garden and inside. Food and bar service from a large menu is available at any time when ordered at the desk for a service fee of 5 Euros. Early morning breakfast tray can be ordered for any delivery time for 6 Euros pp. Excellent reception service and help. Restaurants and the beach are in walking distance. Check-in is at 3 pm, but the hotel will allow you to arrive earlier and wait in the garden or lounge area, which is very beautiful and comfortable.

Wonderful small hotel, it a nice area. Very convenient for returning our rental car back to Centuro, it was a 14 minute walk back to the hotel. Good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Hotel also arranged a taxi pickup at 5am to get us to the airport. It arrived on time and cost €18 euros for two adults with luggage. We were only there for one night before an early morning flight. But it is a special place, everything is immaculate. I could have happily stayed all week. The garden is a real sanctuary. Staff spoke excellent English and could not have been more helpful.

Hotel Picasso Malaga is a gem of a hotel, discretely positioned in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Malaga, a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport and a 5-6 minute walk from the beach. Its well-equipped, rooms all on the ground floor are set in large, beautiful, and peaceful gardens, Each room has a separate patio which is remarkably spacious and discretely separated from its neighbours. There is a small but serviceable pool. The staff are charming and attentive and the buffet breakfast was one of the most delicious I have tasted. Fresh-cut produce and the usual eggs and cooked meats all enhanced by delicious locally prepared sauces and dips. This hotel is a welcome alternative to the large and rowdy complexes further up the beach. We will definitely be back there.

The pool is only of modest size but had we been there for a couple more days we would have made the most of it. The walk down to the beach is very short, but the beach itself is shale and uncomfortable looking. Regardless it was packed.

The location is beautiful--no highrises in that area. No congestion either. The staff was polite, helpful, and friendly, the food was excellent, and the place was clean. Very tasteful decor. The lawns were beautiful too.

The only downside for me was that the shower was in a bathtub with high sides/walls which was very hard to climb into for someone with lower back issues. Also, the bathroom floor was slippery. Electric mosquito zappers in the rooms and outside would be great.

Beautiful gardens with lots of patio spaces for quiet sitting out. Very relaxing, staff very helpful.

It was further from Malaga than I thought. That was my fault for not doing a thorough investigation.
