The central location was extremely convenient, with almost everything within easy walking distance. The room was overall clean, though a bit more attention to detail could make it even better. The staff was very kind and always available to help with anything we needed, which made our stay even more pleasant.

The only downside was the lack of a space, either inside or outside the room, to hang wet swimsuits or beach towels. Since Malaga is mainly a summer destination, it was a bit inconvenient to dry our things after going to the sea. We asked the staff for advice, but they confirmed that no such facility was available, so we just did our best by hanging our items in the bathroom or on the coat hanger in the room.

Wow, reading the reviews I was expecting it to be good - But it was amazing ! Very nice, clean room with a nice bed, equipped with everything needed and a cute small balcony with a view to the market. Location is right in the city centre, with all the things in a 5-15 min walk, the airport bus takes you 2 min from the location - great ! The suites are connected to "The Lights hostel" - meaning you can enjoy everything the hostel has to offer : Some good basic breakfast for 3euros, free tours around the city, Sangria and Dinner and kitchen you can use and much more ! Don't miss the pub crawl every night for a chance to hang out with other cool people that are staying in "The Lights" and couple of more hostels! Overall one can get the feeling the hostel and the suites are like a dynamic community that changes it's people every couple of days and I find it really really awesome :D

It's tough to be perfect, so I do have to mention couple of things: 1. The noise isolation in the room is... ok, but beware that the municipality comes to take the trash sometimes around 2AM and it can be noisy. 2. The TV wasn't working - I tried to tell the reception, one of the workers came and tried to fix, promising to send a technician, but I ended up without the opportunity to watch TV 3. The water in the shower could have a bit stronger pressure... it was quite annoying, also the smell and how the soap feels on the skin... not my favourite to say the least.... But that's really small stuff that you should now, that's why I'm giving it a 9, even 9.5

Excellent location. Near everything. Train, metro, bus, taxis, bars, restaurants, and the local market. Calle Larios and the old town 5 mins walk away. Harbour 10 mins. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. We stayed in the rooms, which are in the building next door to the Hostel, but we were able to use the hostels' facilities. Rooms were clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Considering they were across from the main market, we heard very little noise when the windows and shutters were closed. Overall, it was an excellent choice and would recommend if you are in Malaga sightseeing.

The accommodation is in a very good location, the large market hall is right next to it, the pedestrian street is about 8 minutes walk, the port is about 12 minutes walk. The train station and the bus station are 15-20 minutes walk. The room and the bathroom are perfectly equipped, comfortable bed, maybe it could have been a little more storage space, wardrobe. The towels were changed daily, the room was swept and the trash was taken out. We stayed here for 8 days, it would have been nice if they changed the bed linen once.There was also a mini balcony for the room, which was very cute. The reception is located in the next block, where the other part of the accommodation, the hostel, is located. Here you can order breakfast for 3 euros. The receptionists were nice and helpful, we could leave our luggage there before check-in and after check-out until the plane left.

The only downside to the accommodation is that the walls are very thin. You could hear your neighbor completely in our room when he was taking a shower. Also, when they flushed the toilet upstairs, it sounded like water was flowing into our room. The sound was scary at first, but we got used to it. It's actually something you have to get used to, we hiked so much during the day that we were so tired that we didn't even wake up to it from the second day.

This hotel is just across from the main city market, right in the centre of all the action (so bring ear plugs)! It is also within easy walking distance to the train/metro station that provides easy access to the airport. It is in some sort of partnership with a hostel that’s a couple of doors away - you check in at the hostel, where they give you a key that allows you into both the hotel and the hostel. You are free to use the kitchen in the hostel, or you can buy a simple breakfast there for €3. Apparently there is free sangria every evening at 8 on the roof terrace of the hostel, but we didn’t take advantage of this. Our room in the hotel was clean and bright, with a little balcony with two chairs and a table. The room has a small fridge, which was much appreciated.

The only thing I didn’t like was the cold LED lighting in the room. This may be just a personal peeve, but I really wish that all hotels would install warm-coloured LED’s!

We were extremely surprised and satisfied with how good the room was considering the location and price. The little balcony was awesome where you could people watch from above. Room was a great size, clean and bathroom excellent. Bed also very comfy! Across the road from a fresh food market which was really convenient. Not directly in the hostel building, but the building next door. We were also welcome to join the hostel dinners at a really good price and would have done it if we had the time!

Not the most soundproof

We had 3 balconies, on the third floor, overlooking the market. The view was perfect. Also excellent soundproofing for all windows. Lots of places to eat nearby.

The climb up to the 4th floor of the hostal next door, to collect the keys was quite hard work. Although the hostal offered breakfast for 5 euros to guests from next door, the room was rather uninspiring and we chose to eat in the bakery down below.

Good location in the city, close to everything. Room very clean. There’s a kettle for tea and coffee, and small bottles of water. Tv of a good size. The bed relatively comfortable. In general all was good.

The room was a bit noisy at night as the walls are thin, in addition to the vicinity of the market which starts very early. The duvet cover was worn and smaller than the bed.

Great location opposite the market (you have to try the food it's amazing), also right in the centre of the city and just off the main bus routes. Comfortable, clean room with everything you need including a mini fridge, kettle and cups (great addition as most places don't have one), lovely big shower and a decent hair dryer. You can store your luggage for free in the hostel reception. Friendly staff, easy check in. There is a supermarket and bakery a minutes walk away in either direction, handy for getting supplies.

Nothing

The main thing is the location which is near Malaga Central station - it's like 5-7 minutes away. It means that you can get directly to and from airport and the hotel in like 30 minutes. The old city center is also nearby (although for me it's difficult to find decent places to eat). The hotel offers breakfast for 3 euro (although we didn't have a chance to try it).
