We celebrated my birthday there and the staff made an extra effort to make my birthday special. We were full board and enjoyed the food every day, Lovely service from Daniel, Paula, Susanna and Jose Carlos. The reception staff were very helpful, especially Francis. Enrique the acting manager was always very pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay, it was so relaxing, the swimming pool area is lovely and they make a very nice mojito.

We booked a suite with a sea view as we like to sit on the terrace, However the plastic furniture on the terrace of the suite was not very comfortable and had seen better days.

Very comfortable hotel with a great choice of breakfast. Younger staff (Paula in particular) were very friendly and helpful. Beds really comfortable and bedrooms were tidied and beds made every day which was a bonus when many hotels don't seem to bother these days. Bar was reasonably priced and the lounge area was very comfortable. A few decent restaurants around and more will open when the tourist season begins.

Some of the older staff were a bit abrupt and seemed to make the Spanish guests more welcome than us Brits and Germans - but possibly a language thing. Not much to do in Motril and the beach looked more like a building site. Admittedly some improvements being made but this will never be a beach of golden sand.

The food in the buffet was good at the restaurant lots of choices and very good collection of sea food and vegetarian , Jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool was a plus too. Outside Swimming pool area was ok, however, it’s small and need regular cleaning , Staff were friendly and helpful in restaurants. Seaview rooms and beach front ready lifts your mood in the morning

In general the hotel is dated and need refurbished completely, the furniture are old and walls need painting room wasn’t cleaned to our standard, ( pictures available) missing toiletries every day after we come back to our room ( no shampoos or body wash ) beds not comfortable, my husband bed was so bad he went and spoke to reception 3 times to have it change but nothing happens and they didn’t change it .

Very clean and well presented, the breakfast and evening meals were plentiful with a lot of variety. The dining experience was really pleasant and the waiting staff really considerate to our needs. The indoor pool and spa was fantastic as well as the very well presented outdoor pool set in its own little oasis. Rooms were clean and fresh with a great view from the balcony of the ocean. We have stayed in many Elba hotels and this one like all others we have visited certainly does not disappoint.

Nothing! It’s a wonderful peaceful hotel, the area is traditional and it was great for relaxing and strolling along the beach, the beach bars are there for local people and tourists and have wonderful fresh tapas.

Five star hotel. Excellent breakfast with many options. Room with sea view. Parking in the shadow. Friendly and helpful reception staff who helped to call a doctor quickly and deal with a refund, which left a very good impression.

The outdoor pool area is somewhat isolated and is not comfortable. The pool seems to be more suitable for kids. The beach near the hotel is oddly large and gets too windy sometimes, which was not a big problem as we rent a car and travelled to beaches nearby. Overall a car is highly recommendable.

The property was lovely, the staff were helpful and friendly. It had a calm and relaxing atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of choice. We really made full use of the balcony overlooking the sea.

One tiny niggle that I’m sure can be rectified was at the evening meal. Again there was a huge variety of choice but some of the pre prepared food under the hot lamps was cold, the cannelloni and a meat dish was particularly bad not even lukewarm, a temperature check is all that is needed. My roast chicken, salad and fried small potatoes was delicious. The cooked meats, cheeses and deserts were also lovely.

Conveniently located near Beach and Sea with Car Parking facilities. My visit was out of season in December, but suited my needs at the time for a few days of relaxation after a road trip across Central Spain. In season I would imagine the property to be extremely busy with numerous Bars and Restaurants located on the Beach. The facilities at the Hotel were excellent and much to my surprise I was upgraded to a Suite, which was much to my surprise with two balconies overlooking the snow capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada in the distance. The excellent breakfast was included in the rack rate with multiple choices.

The hotel is beautiful inside. It's very clean and such welcoming staff. The bed was the biggest comfiest bed I have ever seen. The food was exceptional both in the evening and for breakfast. The outside pool was a lovely well kept garden oasis.

The location for me wasn't what I expected, but it was more than made up for by the hotel itself. The outside front wasn't as shiny as the photos but it was on a dusty main road so that's to be expected.

Breakfast selection was excellent and all catering and bar staff were helpful and smiled

Out of 99 TV channels, not one was in English. The first receptionist seemed more bothered about obtaining my email address than other matters (Inc room safe that is extra). She stated she needed it to send me the WiFi password (more than likely for marketing to which I always unsubscribe anyway). As the email never arrived, another receptionist gave me a preprinted paper with the password on it when I again asked??

Comfortable room, swimming pool and fitness room, extensive breakfast buffet and dinner buffet with variation, helpful staff, close to the beach.

only tiny details could have been better (proficiency in English, repairing one fitness tool), but overall a strong recommendation for this price.
