We had a great stay in this small hotel for the NYE holidays. We prefer smaller hotels that provide a cozy environment and this was a perfect choice. Puerto Azul seems to be family&friends run, so you always get the feeling you are taken care of. Staff was super super nice, they even sent us daily suggestions for visiting, the room was clean, bed and pillows super confortable. The optional breakfast was very good as well. The hotel has an ahhh-mazing terrace with a lovely view. There are plenty of restaurants nearby (we liked El Pescador the most) and few supermarkets. Loro Parque is walking distance and there is also a very nice beach close to that. For all those reasons, we would highly recommend Puerto Azul.

A tiny suggestion to improve further the confort in the room would be to add few shelves to put clothes in. The number of hangers provided was generous, but few shelves would be a nice addition.

Service was great, the cleaning staff and receptionists are both very kind and helpful. What’s really nice is there are a lot of breakfast/ brunch places nearby for a good price. The city itself is also cute and very walkable. Place was clean and location was really great. There is free parking just a 4 minute walk away. We liked how it is a smaller more charming hotel and not a large generic one. Was more unique or felt more homey.

I feel obliged to warn that the dog shown in the pictures does not reside there waiting your affection and the jacuzzi is not very warm, (apparently its temperature is not in their control).

Location of the hotel was great, You could get everywhere in walking distance. Nearby is a big free of charge car parking (3min walking distance). We loved the roof terrace, it was great addition with Teide and ocean view. It was really nice to get everyday messages from hotel about what to do around.

Rooms are very small, but as we planned only to sleep there and explore Tenerife in day time, that was not a big issue. Next time would choose room with balcony or street view, because room was very dark and also quite humid, also bedding and chair (it changed after opening window with fresh air).

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a few nights, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by a few features that set it apart from other places. The most impressive aspect for me was the room entry system – instead of traditional key cards or keys, all you had to do was enter a passcode. This was an incredibly convenient solution, eliminating the worry of losing a key or having to carry it around all the time. Another huge advantage, which deserves special mention, was the availability of beverage machines 24/7 – all included in the accommodation price! No matter the time of day or night, you could grab a coffee, hot chocolate, or juice at no extra cost. The coffee was truly excellent – aromatic, strong, and full of flavor, which is rare for vending machines. The juices had a distinct pineapple taste, which was a pleasant surprise.

Unfortunately, the room was quite small, which was noticeable at times. I also definitely missed having a desk where I could comfortably work on my laptop. Another issue was the limited number of electrical outlets – there was only one available near the bed, which was not very practical, especially when needing to charge multiple devices at the same time.

It was great! Not sure how it is only rated a 2 start because it it far beyond that! everything was clean, bright and presentable. The staff were welcoming and polite. Although the room we stayed in was small, it did us very well. Value for money was great, we have stayed in some places that were double the price and were horrific so we were pleasantly surprised. We come to Tenerife often so will be booking again! + cleaning staff were lovely and kind !

only bad things were in our room only one plug socket and light on one side of the bed , and the towels were very small almost like a bath mat however did the job o suppose but would prefer a normal size towel.

Our room was a lovely size. Little balcony with fabulous views. Roof terrace was a fantastic space, with lots of sunbeds, sunny and shaded areas. The jacuzzi was a great addition, due to the time of year we went. Reception area, very clean, light and airy. Receptionist lady who checked us in was great. Very quiet lift which was near our room. Corridors all clean. Very well presented.

The mattress was so firm and the pillows too - such a shame, as this changed our overall rating. The air-conditioning unit has been put in above the wardrobe area, therefore it struggles to jet the cool air out over the lip of the wardrobe. If you need to get cool, you need to be flexible and light, so you can hop on top of the wardrobe to cool down! If you are going away with a new partner - the bathroom is not sound or smell proofed let's say, so don't get a sickness bug!

We did not expect this. Cute, comfortable hotel in an EXCELLENT location. It just doesn’t get any better. Free parking is a 4 minutes flat walk away (we did it with our suitcases and kids). The codes to open the doors instead of keys are handy. Free coffee, tea and water throughout the day.

We liked everything. Be sure to do the online check in, or else you’ll waste time when you arrive. My only suggestion to the hotel is to send the check-in link in a separate message so people won’t miss it in the general info sent.

Booking.com made an error when booking our room meaning we had a double rather than twin room. The hotel staff solved the issue quickly and within 10 minutes we were in another room. The 'roof' of the hotel has a jacuzzi and sun-lounge which is great. The free coffee/team and orage juice is a good offering as well. The hotel is well located and is in the less 'touristy' part of town. There are a few good places to eat out within a 5 minute walk (4.8 on Google Maps) and there is a super market open late about 5 min away too. The rooms have the ability to open the doors into the street which is nice for fresh air.

Not really a 'what we didn't like' but the hotel dosen't offer parking which they are honest about and is fairly normal in Europe. Free parking is avaliable about a 5 min walk away. However, this can be very busy at night (there was a local fun fair on when we were there) and it did take some time (about 20 min) to find a park.

Very nice hotel for reasonable price. Location is great, close to city center but in quite area. Main bus station is just 5 min from there. Public parking in nearby (abou 3 min walking) but I was happy I did not rent car as streets are rather narrow. Hotel has elevator. Jacuzzi on the top floor is amazing and really useful after long hiking day. There are also areas to take sunbath. You can see ocean from there. Breakfast is basic but OK and there are free drinks in the lobby for whole day including coffee. Also, vending machine is available 24h. To enter, guests should use code instead of key that is very convinient if you go to swim (no need to worry about key). Hotel provides with plage towels. There is a refrigerator and kettle in the room but refrigerator is weak, would work for short term storage only.

Room equipped with conditioner but it and shelf under it should be cleaned (the only place that is nok, rest of the rooms was clean). And would be great to have microwave in the lobby.

Great location, nice staff, good coffee dispenser and comfy couch in reception. Room was small but clean, fridge was handy. Upstairs terrace was lovely, Bali bed was my favorite, jacuzzi very pleasant. Bed linen, good quality cotton - very smooth to sleep on. Air con worked perfectly.

Balcony was 8 inches so no use really, bed was not very safe - if you Sat up and lent against the headboard the foot at the top of the bed folded. Very firm mattress on the bed not my preference either. Glass next to the jacuzzi could have done with a clean too.
