Perfect if you are doing the GR131 trek. A quiet and authentic place with a fridge and a kettle for the guests to use. The house and the room is spacious and has a well-designed interior. The dogs are now isolated from the guest area. The Italian couple that looks after the place is very friendly and accommodating. They can cook a tasty dinner for you - Spaghetti Carbonara. All in all, I recommend the place and would stay there again.

Just a few small hints. The house's doors require some fixing to prevent insects from getting in. The windows would benefit from nets so that they can be kept open during the night as there is no ventilation. The dinner is very good but seems a bit overpriced (18EUR).

The location worked well for me as I was walking the camino. The property is very secure and protected by a very big dog! My room was delightful, with a large comfy bed, good size sofa and a jacuzzi bath that I did not actually use. There is outdoor furniture and sun loungers; however I arrived too late in the afternoon to use these. The communal area is full of quirky curiosities and is also very comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast are available at the property - I was not aware of this from the booking.com description.

There is very little to criticise here - perhaps an extra sign at one of the path junctions to help guests find the villa?

I don't often write reviews but I had to in this case, even if it's a late one. The accommodation is lovely, rustic and charming. The rooms are spacious, airy and pleasant. Nice comfy bed. The host was superb. Allowed me to take her details and pay when I returned home as I didn't have spare cash for breakfast. As I was walking rhe GR131 across 4 canary islands it took me a long time to get home and pay. Superb homemade Italian food was also available. I can recommend this place heartily to anyone hikjng or visiting the area. Great value.

Carla was a gracious host and was able to prepare some dinner for us on the evening we were there as well as breakfast as advertised which was delicious. The jacuzzi was very relaxing and everything was as advertised. Would recommend.

We were walking the GR131. The villa is on the route. We were able to get a lovely meal in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The place is authentic and rustic which was lovely and Carla was super friendly

We were hiking the GR131 on Fuerteventura and the Villa Cecilio is basically right on the track. We stayed at the studio and loved it. It had all we needed, the bed was comfortable and the night very quiet. The host was very friendly and made us feel at home. We had the optional breakfast, which was delicious.

Helpfull and caring owner. Tasty dinner, spacious room. Possibility to wash your clothes if needed. Surrounded by beautiful landscape. Very easy going communication and flexibility in case of arrival time. Cooled watter and sweets was nice bonus.

Basic breakfast (4€) a bit too small, so I recommend to choose extended version not to be hungry within an hour. In any case everything was super tasty.

We decided to celebrate our anniversary here and Carla was a super host. She was great with contacting us via WhatsApp and even decorated our bed for us and left us candles. We loved the room, it was bigger than we expected and had nice furniture. Our favourite was the jacuzzi which had lights, music and nice warm water. What a fantastic stay!

The only bad thing is that the room had a shared bathroom but Carla even prepares a separate mat for the shower for each room.

We loved our stay here. We had been cycling all day, so was nice to have a lovely room to sleep in. Very quiet location. We had a 2 course dinner and wine.. we also had a great breakfast. The host is italian and we loved practicing our Italian with her 😀

Very clean place, and Carla was a pleasant person.

We had problems with water, like almost everyone in Tefía. I also didn't like the fact that the neighbor's dogs were let free
