The facilities, particularly the adults only pool were brilliant

Having 2 single beds pushed together was not ideal, and there didn’t seem to be an option to have a double bed

Location itself was great, friendly staff

Cold water in the swimming pools, distance from the house to the restaurants and pools, footpaths are in bad condition.

Great pool for kids, lovely park which was generally very quiet and in a nice part of the island. The cleaning of the accommodation was very good upon arrival, the apartment was spotlessly clean throughout.

The park could do with a bit of paint here and there and a bit of gardening but overall, we were pleasantly surprised at this park and we were glad that we ignored all the 'negative' reviews that are posted online in various places.

We loved our stay at Origo Mare, the water park was far better than we expected and we spent a lot of time there. The self catering apartment was well appointed and had good facilities for cooking. The apartment was spacious and very clean. All of the staff were very friendly. The kids loved the evening entertainment and kids club. Lots of things to do on site, Inc go karts, mini golf, play park, pool etc

You really need to have a hire car if you're self catering Wish there were other restaurants within walking distance for days I didn't want to cook (without someone having to drive)

Very well equipped. Accommodation has everything you need and if you're missing anything, it can be got for you. We needed a highchair, a microwave and a second cot and they were delivered within minutes of asking. Kids loved it, Crater Park is great, they never got bored. The shining star here is the staff. From reception staff to cleaners are so polite and helpful. The activity staff are brilliant. They are upbeat all the time. The kids loved them. They get involved and make sure no kid is left out (my eldest can be shy in crowds and 3 seperate times they encouraged her to get involved)

Only downside is how far it is from a town (walking) but we rented a car and ha no problem getting to and from the area. Supermarket on site is expensive but is pretty well stocked.

Mattresses were comfortable. Good to have 2 bathrooms. The aquapark was fun especially the climbing wall! Minigolf was good too.

Quite a few minor issues and snags with the property, which is quite dated. In particular the door of the freezer which is clashing with the window, which results in getting either fingers pinched or door damaged. The sofa was also damaged (with the foam appearing) and very uncomfortable to sit on…(not tried to sleep on it !). No big deal but this combined with the 200euros deposit got us a bit worried. Pavements really in bad condition - our daughter tripped and fell on day 1.

We really enjoyed the pools and the villa, they're very spacious and great value for money.

There were cockroaches throughout, they were more apparent in the evening but this was quite off-putting as this was just outside the restaurant and inside the restaurant toilets. The location is far away from most things, a taxi is €30 to corralejo one way which isn't too bad if you have others to split it with. There is a free bus that goes there twice a day I believe, but we didn't use this. Our villa was a good 10-15 minute walk from the reception and pools etc which wasn't great but understandable.

Great value for the price we paid. We really just used it as a base for exploring the island. Staff were great. Highly recommend the surf class with Manu. Pool and water park were very fun. We didn’t eat there at all, that didn’t look so great but lots of great restaurants in nearby Lajares. We rented a car, very useful. We were there in November, so less people which was really great.

Food from hotel was not to our liking but we knew that before and we’re prepared. We’re also pretty fussy about our food anyway. In Lajares there are plenty of places to eat where the meals are not so much more cost than the hotel and there’s a great supermarket for home cooking. Lots of choice. The kitchen is sufficient. Again, we were there as a base and low season.

Our 11-day summer holiday at this hotel was fantastic, thanks in large part to its exceptional location. However, renting a car is a must (it's easiest to arrange this at the airport with a local company). The resort itself is superb, boasting multiple swimming pools and abundant sun beds—there's no need to rush in the morning to secure one. The water park is a blast, let me know if you manage to reach the end of the rock climbing wall. It turns out adults are even more competitive than the kids—it's a lot of fun! The water slides are great and safe, with plenty of lifeguards around and very well organised. The main hotel area is always immaculate, and the staff go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Breakfast offers a good variety of fruits among other options, and while lunch is decent—requiring a bit of creativity—the dinner options were somewhat disappointing. We opted to dine out in nearby towns after the fourth night, as we're quite particular about our meals. Despite this, our days were filled with enjoyable activities, including pedal go-karting around the resort, which we even managed with our 2-year-old. Mini-golf is also a fun option. Overall, if you're planning a stay, definitely rent a car and try everything the resort has to offer for a truly enjoyable experience.

The drinks were a bit of a letdown, leading us to reconsider the value of an all-inclusive package. However, since we were driving frequently and had to care for our children, abstaining from alcohol wasn't a major issue for us. Nonetheless, this is an area that could use some improvement.

The villa was lovely with great space and views of the landscape the adult only pool area was amazing with a lot of sunbeds, the reception staff were lovely and very accommodating.

The villa wasn’t as clean as it should of been on arrival, the restaurant staff were very rude and not welcoming at all would definitely return to the accommodation just not the restaurant
