Hotel is immaculate; pool area superb; restaurant excellent with great food choices and attentive staff. We only ate out 1 night out of 10, breakfast choices plentiful, evening meals wide and varied including some themed menus. Nice to have option to sit outside on a terrace next to restaurant. Some items made fresh either in morning (omlettes - yum) or evening from the grill or pasta (also yum). Room was a first floor wheelchair accessible room (not required by us); very short walk to reception, pool and restaurant. Location of hotel is amazing, very close to main street in Corralejo but not so close as to hear any noise - approx 10 mins walk to Music Square. Near to plenty of lovely bars and restaurants in the old town.

Our specific ground-floor room was close enough to the reception bar to pick up some noise, which didn't bother us but might bother others. Our terrace only had 2 seats and a view of the crumbling perimeter wall. The room was cleaned daily, and towels changed, but in 10 days, bedding was not changed, which we would have expected (we didn't raise it with housekeeping). Entertainment geared towards older guests - we went out every night anyway, but if this was your thing, then great. The room was definitely a bit tired/dated for Spanish Barcelo hotel compared to others we've stayed in, but was comfortable and clean and that's what mattered most.

We had to switch room because it was above the lobby/bar. There were so much noises until midnight (and past because of guests finishing their drinks and being very loud) and it started at 7am, also from guests arriving and leaving. But the guest manager Leah was very helpful and changed our room to a quieter location and it was perfect.

We had a great stay at Barcelo Bay. The staff were amazing and did everything to make our NY stay great. From the check in until the moment we left, we enjoyed every moment. We were lucky to get upgraded to a luxury room, which was amazing. The breakfast and dinner very good with lots of choice and freshly cooked food. The swimming pool area well appointed and maintained including one heated pool. We also used the spa facilities and were very happy. The NYE dinner and entertainment were great. Thank you to the entire team at Barcelo Bay!

Excellent room, clean and recently refurbished. Quiet. Adults only a great bonus. Good, fresh breakfast and good selection of food. Coffee was decent enough unlike most hotel coffee! Delighted to see signs all over the place that if you leave towels on the sun loungers to try to reserve them, they will be removed. The life guard was actively doing this and was getting abuse from a few guests.

Probably something that a few people love, but blaring 180bpm music at the pool (even for a couple of hours) for supposed 'pool exercise' is really annoying for anyone who just wants a quiet time and to sit and read. At least it isn't on all day though.

Super nice staff lovely location lovely facilities nice food. Quiet relaxing but not a place for single people.

The charge per day for the safe in the room of 3 euro was outrageous. A drink is not included with the evening meal.

The location, staff, and food were incredible. Very tasty breakfast and dinner always served with a smile. Very close to the beach and the main street with shops and restaurants. We had a nice surprise at our room for our anniversary. It was great.

I will say only that the hotel should provide pool towels and the safe in the room without charges. Special if it is not high season.

location is fantastic, beautiful pool area with no shortage of sun beds. rooms are spacious and clean. breakfast buffet is fabulous-loads of options! staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful.

The only negative was guests queuing for the pool to open in the morning to reserve sunbeds.
