Nice reception and care by front desk receptionist/manager. Very convenient parking and easy commute into Ribadesella center. Very clean with good bathroom facilities. The breakfast was superb - both the service by the hotel manager/receptionist and the selection/quality of breakfast items. Advertised as a continental breakfast, I would consider it a full breakfast as far as quantity and quality. Location very tranquil - I had a nice walk along the fields and farms of the countryside location. Great value with the included breakfast.

The wooden floors in the rooms transmit “foot noise” pretty easily to rooms adjacent or below, but once everyone settles down for sleep, all is calm and quiet.

Lovely small friendly hotel, staff were all so nice. The lady who runs it is so helpful and never seems to stop working. Breakfast was lovely, the food in the restaurant attached was also very nice. The bar/grill next door is also great, very friendly with a wood and charcoal fired grill delivering fantastic barbecued meats, I think Thursday through to Sunday, a must do meal. Good selection of restaurants around the port, and all very picturesque.

It is quite a walk into the centre of Ribadesella, about 35-40 minutes downhill. Would recommend using a taxi at night for the return, only 7 euros and worth every penny.

The room met my expectations and was as in the photos - the bathroom in particular was nice and modern and with excellent water pressure in the shower. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel manager was lovely and welcoming, at the guests' disposal for anything they might need. I witnessed her going out of her way to help a couple choose a restaurant, and she helped to book me a taxi. The breakfast was good quality and with lots of choice, and great coffee!

The only issue in this room was the noise from the room next door, as the sound isolation between rooms was poor - they had their TV turned up loud until around 1am. However this is not unexpected given the type of building and otherwise it was comfortable.

The hotel manager was lovely, very welcoming and helpful with everything, including arranging a taxi to take me to the bus station. The included breakfast was also abundant and served with a smile! Beautiful views of the mountains from my window. Large and comfortable room, just as in the pictures. The bathroom was modern and clean. The outside terrace area was really nice. I had a really excellent meal in the restaurant which was only €28 for 3 courses + hors d'oeuvres, with wine included.

Tall people might have difficulties in the attic rooms due to some of the beams being low - particularly in the bath/shower. I was looking forward to using the hydromassage bath but when I switched on the jets, there was a strong sulphur type smell. Could just be one of those things with this type of tub, but it did put me off a bit.

This was a surprising find. Exceeds expectations. Felt like we were on a chalet up the mountains with bucolic views in front of us complete with a herd of cows. To our delight when we parked we heard bells from a family of sheep! We had a room with mountain and seaviews. Very relaxing to just watch the sunset or sunrise. And to top it off, Marife the director was accommodating and hospitable. Breakfast was scrumptious!A perfect 10!

Only a small problem but the shower was very difficult to use I am of medium height and kept banging my head on the wooden beam over the shower

An elegant boutique hotel. Marvellous character. Stylish rooms and common areas. Great view over Ribadesella from its perch up on the hill.

Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday and their onsite restaurant was closed. It was a little out of the town which meant we had to drive to get into the areas of action and to buy a meal. Had to consider the fact I had to drive back after dinner so alcohol consumption had to be considered.

Lovely dining rooms and outlook down to the coast. Lovely pool was a bonus. The staff in particular the lady at Reception were exceptional See. She was very helpful in arranging taxis and a local spa treatment.

The property is about 2 km from the city. If you had a car, it would be fine but as a walker, it’s a bit of a distance. Having said that once you’re there it’s terrific.

The staff were brilliant. Super helpful; especially the owner/manager who went out of her way to help me with a problem. The views are great, with a beautiful terrace and pool. The restaurant has very good food and there is great walking nearby. Walking distance to the beach.

A little further out of town than I expected. The bathroom was on the small side.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, and lovely location overlooking the town, with a views of both the sea and the Picos de Europa. Ribadesella itself is a lovely small town in a picturesque setting, with plenty to do, not least the world-class museum dedicated to the nearby Tito Bustillo Caves, with their paleolithic art.

Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was not open for dinner during our stay. A car is advisable as the hotel is on the edge of comfortable walking distance into the town. This was not a problem for us.
