A very nice hotel with a bar and terrace area for relaxing. The rooms were comfortable fresh and clean. The reception staff were very welcoming of one of our more expensive hotels on our stay by 20 euros but it has a nice lounge and bar area for relaxing. We didn’t stay for breakfast but it smelled great.

The views were of the bus station and main road but that wouldn’t stop us from staying again, only a 5 minute walk to harbour and town.

Jardin de Eugenia is easy to find and is on the main road into town. There are only about four parking spaces but if you drive past, with the hotel on you left, the first turning on your left takes you to the large, free public parking by the bus station. Check in was lovely and the hotel has a unique and nice feel about it. The rooms are individually designed and decorated, but as I am not au fait with the art style I can simply say that ours (Tamarind) had a bare, minimalist look with old, brown furniture. Arty or not,the important things are that the room was clean and comfortable, and the en-suite was smart with a superb shower. There is a lounge downstairs as well as a comfortable outside terrace. Breakfast was very good and you simply choose what you want from the menu and it is brought to you. We had juice, fresh melon, a plate of cheese, tomato toast, eggs and bacon, crusty bread and jam and good coffee. There’s are also croissants and home made cake, but we never had room for those. It was all very good. The bottom line is that this is a very nice hotel with an easy parking option and is only a short stroll into town. We would happily use it again.

Gorgeous boutique hotel just a step away from the main drag. Close to shops and restaurants. We went to La Guia which is almost across the road. Had a great meal, the waitress we had was a total boss! Hotel itself is so stylish, terrace out the back, you can get a drink at the bar in the cosy lounge. Furniture is very cool. The receptionist ( who doubles as waitress for breakfast) is very efficient and helpful.

The place was really nice, comfortable and overall well located in a quiet area. The staff was really accommodating and the room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.

Only thing I would mention that could improve a lot is breakfast. For the price it was really not up to the expectations, and some of the stuff offered wasn’t really available. Better to have it in the town.

Such a lovely hotel! The staff were soooo nice so friendly and so helpful. The place had such a good 'feel' to it. A beautiful building in a great location with a very short walk into town. Easy parking behind the hotel. Lovely room with great facilities and a nice bathroom with a bath. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Road was a bit noisy at the front but nothing too bad.

Very centrally located, staff had good knowledge of the area, gave advice on where to eat, quiet and comfortable.

Safe in wardrobe was not secured to anything so could have been removed from room! so unsafe to Leave passports Money etc. reception open to all and unmanned upon our arrival, we were advised to take room keys with us as they were just on the wall in reception and anybody could access them.

Nice old building just on the outskirts of the town. Easy walk to centre and to beach. Helpful receptionist upon arrival.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. Quality of OJ was not 100% freshly squeezed for example. For €12 we would have done better in the town.

Beautifully appointed rooms, lovely furniture and décor. Breakfast was extremely good, very courteous and friendly staff, spotlessly clean and lovely large room. The owner was brilliant about motorcycle parking, which was also secure. Loved being here it was extremely convenient for a return trip to Santander or Bilbao to get the ferry home.

Our room did face the road, it was just a little noisy at night time but tbh it didn't spoil the hotel at all.

Rooms in a gorgeous home close to the river. We were met by a warm and friendly woman who helped us arrange our e-bikes for charging. The decor and all the facilities were first rate.

The woman who served us breakfast was not terribly friendly and the one who cleaned our rooms seemed a bit irritated that we did not leave more quickly.

Friendly and accommodating younger morning staff. Great view of the river and cliffs over the bus station. Close to the bus station. Easy stroll to the Main Street of town. Decent bed. Nice shared patio on the ground floor. Elevator.

Body wash, moisturiser etc. a bit cheap and not nice. Grumpy older evening staff. Patio closes at 9pm.
