The place itself was lovely! A really traditional style house in a lush, green area near the mountains and the coast. Really beautiful building, room and area. Stunning views. Our host was A-MAZ-ING. He was really friendly and welcoming - we felt really welcomed and at ease. He gave us great recommendations for places to see around the area. When my wife was sick in the morning, he was really accommodating gave her some ibuprofen and even let us take some tea upstairs and a breakfast for me whilst I cared for her. He even told the room service so they wouldn't do our room until we'd left - and she was nice enough to ask how my wife felt as we left. Really great vibes all around and we wouldn't hesitate to go back :)

Fantastic! Wonderful! Stay here, you will love it too! I have made ten caminos and this is the best place I have stayed in 200+ nights and thousands of kilometers along different Ways. Tranquil and peaceful surrounded by views of the Picos. Blissfully quiet at night. A gorgeous property—-timelessly stylish, many lovely common areas to relax. And Frida Kahlo would fit right in with the many splashes of color throughout. The proprietor was warm and welcoming and gracious and hospitable—-the perfect innkeeper. My room (and the whole property) was spotlessly clean and quite large for a solo peregrino and plenty big for two. Very comfortable bed with beautiful linens. A great bathroom with excellent soaps/shampoo and great towels to go with a great shower. Excellent Spanish breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room. House made cookies and cake! Delicious and plentiful and easily fueled me the next 21km to lunch—-gracias! Just fantastic—my top camino hotel in hundreds of nights along various caminos. It is 1km off the camino and up 60 meters—-but very much worth it for the best stay on any camino. Stay here!

The host was very pleasant, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean. The owner served a great breakfast (fresh pastries, still warm croissants, home made cookies, fresh orange juice). This made our short stay great!

The only thing to think about next time, is to ask for a room facing the west, the east side was very small and cold and you could hear the noise from far highway…for one night ok.

Diego was very welcoming and helpful offering suggestions and personally-drawn maps. We loved being able to sleep with the windows open with very little noise. I wish we had had more time to relax outside on the porch.

Quiet, pleasant place with easy parking. Some good views of surrounding landscape. We were able to walk a short distance to the Camping place whose restaurant served a dinner accompanied by live entertainment: a guitarist and a singer.

Sometimes, a nice quasi-rural place such as this one will find a way to draw people together, e.g., an outdoor fire in the evening or some music. This hotel did have a separate self-service cafetería with refreshments for evening usage, but nothing drew people to it the one evening we were there.

Mountain views from the bedroom window. Great breakfast; substantial and fresh with lots of choice. Friendly staff. Lovely terrace to sit on a relax. Quiet spot outside Ribadesella so you get the best of both worlds with a good nights sleep.

It was a beautiful house and very clean. It was also cosy with lots of places to relax in the garden and house. The breakfast was really good. The host was so kind and helpful. We will certainly go back.

This hotel is clean and friendly with well equipped rooms and a very helpful host. Breakfast was top quality, even including homemade biscuits. There’s plenty of on-site parking and great views.

We had to drive to find evening meals but not far and it was well worth it.

the property was beautiful and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. A great place to stay IF you don’t mind being off the beaten path.

Unfortunately being away from the main trails, there is only one restaurant nearby. it was a decent place with a small food selection and nice bar. You do share the area with a nearby campground. if you are craving some company this a nice place. lots of people and kids even in the early season of mid June.

The Mountain View, sitting on the porch, the birds singing, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice, parking, friendly proprietor, breakfast room, the SOFT pillows, SOFTEST towels, and monogramed sheets. I felt like we were in a villa in a movie.
