Superb beachside location, very easy to find. On street parking can be a problem during busy times, so I recommend booking a space in their excellent on site underground carpark. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms exceptionally clean and spacious. The beds were super comfy with plenty of pillows. The restaurant was excellent value serving high quality Asturian dishes, with a good selection of wines to suit most tastes and pockets. Breakfast was a buffet self service, but with a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries etc. If I had only one small criticism it would be that no hot option was available, even poached or fried eggs would have been welcome.

Nothing that would put me off staying again.

Gorgeous location on the ocean shore. You can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Comfortable bed, good towels. Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.

We ordered half a year in advance and really, really asked for the third floor. Yes, they didn't promise us, they said "if possible". They gave us the first floor. When we checked in, there was a lot of other people's hair on the floor in the bathroom, and there were other people's panties and socks in the closet. The maid threw out our bottles that were on the table, not on the floor, not near the trash can. The breakfasts were monotonous and without hot dishes (scrambled eggs, omelette, sausages).

The view from the front facing rooms are amazing. The rooms at the front have small balconies..Bedrooms are bright, cheerful and a good size. The hotel is spotlessly clean. We have stayed in the hotel on three occasions and hope to return again.

On arrival we were originally allocated a room on the fourth floor which did not have a balcony. It was only when it became clear I had spoken previously to hotel staff that we were allocated the room promised, and stipulated on the room description. Underground parking is available but expensive, street parking seems safe but few places are available. Unfortunately the restaurant experience was not as good as a couple of years ago. Breakfast was good but the choices at dinner were more limited, the quality of the food had fallen and the restaurant was chaotically managed.

The views were outstanding and we could hear the waves crashing as we drifted off to sleep. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. Croissants, toast, fruit and so on. It was especially handy to visit the beach and then nip back to the hotel to change.

I was charged extra for a bed for my two year old, even though i'd booked for a 2 year old.

This hotel was in many ways the highlight of our two week touring holiday around northern Spain. The bedroom was not as large as the typical Parador bedroom, and it was modern so lacked the character of some of the historic hotels we stayed in. But Ribadasella was an absolute find, the location of the Don Pepe was unbeatable with its magnificent view over the beach and out to sea. The breakfast buffet was very generous, we dined at the hotel on both nights on their very affordable 28 euro fixed price menu and the food was of very high quality. The staff without exception were the friendliest and most helpful of any of the hotels in which we have stayed. The bed was very comfortable and though the hotel lacks aircon the ceiling fan kept us cool in the exceptional October heat. We would be very happy to return but would stay longer than this time,. Top marks.

Lovely hotel , we stayed on the first floor with balcony to the sea . Love the sound of the waves crashing . The room was decent size , beds confortable . Shower very good . It is a pity we didn’t stay longe to enjoy the room and his mini balcony . Another bonus is the free breakfast , very nice and decent ; Servíng cold meats , bolleria and toast . The staff is very friendly . Very close to the caves too! Parking available around the hotel - free .

The hotel is small and the balconies are so close to each other that you feel that you are on top of each other , but that is so insignificant when you have that view !

Right on the beach. Clean modern hotel that is not too big. Good breakfast. Say 15 minutes along the promenade and over the bridge into the centre of town. Staff were very helpful.

Our room with a sea view certainly had one but only if you were stood up as the cill was at chest level. Banged my head three times on the edge of the mansard in the bathroom and looking at all the stuff marks I was not the only one.

We’re given room as requested. Beautiful Juliet balcony view over beach and bay, very special. Modern hotel, good sized room, double glass balcony doors, comfortable beds, lift, small fridge. Nice shower. We enjoyed the breakfast, very good variety. Nice town to walk around and dine.

A kettle in the room would be nice. Coffee machine at breakfast uses powdered milk. Warm milk is also offered from a jug but most modern machines offer fresh milk as part of the process.

We had a great time staying at Don Pepe, thanks to the friendly staff, the comfy bed and the perfect location right next to the beach. Street parking was always available on the street outside the hotel throughout our stay. Ribadesella was a short and easy stroll away.

No complaint, really, as the included breakfast was ample and nice, but we would have loved to have had some more options, such as scrambled or fried eggs.

Lovely hotel in a great location with good facilities. Excellent breakfast and good evening restaurant. Underground car park appreciated.

No ventilation in room other than opening a patio door to the small balcony. Room not as clean as on previous stays, patio door widows smeared and on the balcony table there was an ashtray full of cigarette ends.
