We stayed this week and were a little nervous after reading the reviews particularly about the charges for the sunbeds. To explain there are 3/4 pools and plenty of free of charge sunbeds. The Hyde pools are completely free to reserve, the Mondrian pools (main ones advertised on website overlooking the sea) are for Mondrian guests or with a minimum spend for the bed. The minimum spend for the bed is 100€ for a bed for 2 people which is quite easy to spend (€50euro each) if you have a full day there. If not you can easily use any of the facilities around this Mondrian pool area including seating / hanging swings etc and the Hyde pool is super close so it isn’t a problem at all you can easily use both pool areas and facilities. I wouldn’t worry about this before booking but be aware the Mondrian pool is a little nicer than the Hyde pool area if you are planning to spend a lot of time around the pool. There is really easy access to the beach, plenty of reasonable food and drink eateries around if on a bit of a budget. Hotel is really nice, everything runs really seamlessly, staff are really laid back and doesn’t have pretentious feel at all which sometimes you can get with minimum charges for beds etc. My only negative feedback would be the rooms are pretty small, bathrooms are tiny and not a lot of room for your suitcases etc. Our balcony also overlooked the carpark which wasn’t too nice so we didn’t use much. Really close taxi to Santa Eluaria €10-€12 or €20-€30 euro to Ibiza Old Town.

This was my first ever trip to Ibiza and I came for a short break with my mum for my 60th birthday and you made it very special indeed. The hotel was just stunning on every level and every one of the staff we interacted with was absolutely brilliant from the moment we arrived to the day we left. They made our trip perfect! The wonderful Guest Relations Manager Angel along with the fabulous Pablo, Martin, Frederica, Leonora, Tamara and Paula were a joy to meet and they had arranged for me to have a special birthday drink, a photo, a delicious cake and hand written message …. Well, I was totally thrilled. I’ve never experienced this on my birthday in a hotel ever - just WOW! All these people made my trip impeccable; they were genuinely the most helpful, happy, delightful and joyous people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet in a hotel. Thank you all so much. As for the hotel itself, location wise it’s great being right next to the beach, town and ferry stop. The hotel is being refurbished to a very high standard, the design and decor is sublime so well done to the designers. We had breakfast included in our stay and that was delicious, plentiful with lots of choices. Again, all the breakfast team were delightful too. Many had been there for a long time especially Carol who had been with the hotel 30 years and still retains that sparkle and joy for her job, that was wonderful to see. As you can tell, my expectations for this hotel were by far exceeded, so we’ll done to the Hyde and Mondrian, your team are superb there. As a direct result, I have joined your Dis-Loyalty scheme and have already booked my next trip to your 25hours hotel in Florence on the back of my stay at the Mondrian. I’ll be back to Cala Llonga next year for sure

Maybe some cava and sparkling water at breakfast but that is not an issue whatsoever really. There’s still work in progress and this hotel will shine brightly when it’s all finished. It will be by far the best in Cala Llonga and beyond.

The design, all the furnishings, the amazing sea views, the very comfortable bed and how close it was to Cala Llonga town.

It would have been good to have a vanity kit in the bathroom and more water coolers placed around the building.

The views from the breakfast balcony; the position with easy access to beach, village, bus, ferry, and tourist train; the shower products; the chocolate cookies at breakfast were the best we ever had; the lobby; the staff was smiley and fun; the food at Cuyo; the complimentary water each day in the room; the vibe at the pools with a dj and little pop-up shops; the WiFi from the hotel worked all the way down to the beach and village (crazy!).The map of the whole place was very useful.

When we arrived the bathroom's sink was not working and there was no hot water: however these were fixed quickly. The elevators were not working on the last day. We told them in advance that we were celebrating a big anniversary and that we even had booked dinner at Cuyo to mark it. Neither in the room nor at the restaurant they gave us anything to mark the special occasion, just 'congratulations'. At other 4 and 5 star hotels we stayed during birthdays or anniversary, they always made an effort to offer something to make it special (a glass of wine, a small cake, a basket of fruit, chocolates and a card...).

Gorgeous setting and views, rooms were new and well laid out and gorgeous decor. Loved the sliders and robes in the room, breakfast buffet 10/10. Good quality room service. Brilliant location with easy access to the beach and ferry to formentera.

Food seemed over priced around the pool so we didn’t bother eating there other than breakfast.

Everything was perfect

Loved the general vibe and aesthetic of the hotel, the rooms and public areas were tastefully decorated, and the breakfast area and stations were particularly good. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely quite town with lots of drinking and restaurant options.

Even though I thought the breakfast provision was really good, anything hot was often very cold. There were three pool and bed options around the hotel, but you had to pay for beds in the best area. I thought the deposit of £50 per night was excessive and it was released at check-out before the rooms were even checked, so it seems a bit unnecessary. The balcony doors on 2/3 of our rooms didn't lock. There wasn't much of a regular bus service, so you rely in taxis a lot.

- The hotel was lovely and spacious and the social areas were a real bonus. We particularly liked the addition of a DJ in the evening to provide background music - Great breakfast included with our room rate; lots of variety and all very fresh - Very impressed with the up to date equipment in the gym area - Lovely pools and a good selection to choose from - the location was excellent; literally a stone's throw from the beautiful beach of Cala Llonga

- the room was a little compact - the bed was a little too soft (obviously it is my personal preference to have a firmer bed) - the adjustable shower head did not stay in place - the fridge was not cold enough, it barely kept our water chilled - one of the evening bar staff in Cuyo - Roberto - could not have been less welcoming; he was bordering on being rude :(

The energy, the atmosphere, and every single member of your team made this one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful — we’ll definitely be back! This was a 20/10 stay. We truly loved everything else and can’t wait to return. Thank you again for the unforgettable experience — Hyde really is something special.

I wanted to share one piece of honest feedback that stood out during our visit: the massages. I had booked the Lower Body Massage for Runners, expecting a focused and deep release treatment tailored for athletes. Unfortunately, it felt far too soft and lacked the depth or attention I was hoping for — it didn’t cover my full legs or provide the type of recovery I genuinely needed. The therapist was kind and lovely, but had I known what the treatment entailed, I would have chosen differently. Similarly, my friend booked a Head and Neck Massage, and the neck portion was not even included — which was especially disappointing, as she had been really looking forward to it.

It is very nice hotel for the family resorts as no need to go outside of the Cala Llonga because ot has an amazing beach right near the hotel. Definitely need to take rent a car as the hotel is located far from the city centers . There are a lot of restaurants near by, especially Georgian’s bar, Indians cousin and Italian restaurant with an amazing food ( forgot the names of restaurants ).

Cleaning is on the lowest level. Considering that we stayed just 2 days , we were not so instantly requested the cleaning . But our friend stayed for 6 nights and were very disappointed of the cleaning . Need to ask several times for the cleaning service
