We had an unforgettable stay at Abadía Retuerta. The staff were exceptionally friendly—special thanks to Juan Carlos and Álvaro for the way they received us, the staff at the Vinoteca, for their great recommendations and food. In general, everyone made us feel very welcome since day one. Our dog was very well accepted, and he was able to dine with us on the terrace of the Vinoteca The wines were excellent, and the wine tour with Francisco was insightful and engaging. Definitely a must-do. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, the team went above and beyond by upgrading us to the Master Suite, a gesture that truly made our stay memorable. The suite was incredible, and their attention to detail made us feel so special. The pool was relaxing, and all the amenities were spotless. In summary, this is truly a top-tier hotel that will stay in our hearts forever. Abadía Retuerta delivered not just a stay but an experience we will always cherish.

Air conditioning did not work well. Dinner optioin had to include the restaurant multi course dinner that has a Michelin star but its not really up to snuff with other similar restaurnts in the region. The wine option by the glass only included the wines from the Chateaux which were good for what they were but should have more choice.

This place was everything we were hoping for, and more! The beautiful surrounding landscape, the 900 year old architecture, the river and canal, the birds and wild animals, the connection with outdoors, the restaurants/food, the hiking and biking trails, the winery, the incredible history of the place, the service, and so many other things. In particular, I would like to commend our lead concierge/butler, Muhammad. We concluded that he is the most talented hotel professional that we've ever met, and a really nice human being!

Well, this is not the cheapest hotel you'll ever find, but it's difficult to put a price on such a memorable experience.

Charming hotel with a unique environment and privacy. It’s located within a restored abbey from the XII century with only 30 rooms and a lot of privacy. Personnel is looking after you from minute 1 and are extremely polite. Finally, we have been doing wine tasting around the world for years and this has been the best experience by far. We will be back!!

The property is outstanding! i did not expect it as it is much more exclusive in person. It is an old monastery, first built in 1154 turned into a luxury hotel by subtly keeping the style, the spirit, and the function of the different rooms. The wine is of very good quality, the SPA offers a great variety of treatments and there are plenty of walks or bike tours to take around. last but definitely not least - the michelin star restaurant takes all of your senses to an unforgettable adventure… Admirations for the entire staff, management and owners! Hope to become a regular customer as it is just and 1h30 min away from Madrid!

We loved the attention to detail across all premises, everything was exceptionally well tended, we’ll preserved and clean. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food is exceptional in all restaurants. It’s the perfect location for a quiet, romantic getaway to decompress and relax (rooms are well insulated also for noise).

evening meal was excellent, great service and 'augustine' was very knowledgeable and kindly showed me the wine cellar which was very interesting.

The breakfast was disappointing, cold eggs benedict not my favourite and staff were not very attentive.

Our stay at this hotel (a gorgeous historic property!) was beyond fantastic. The Abadia was a perfect place to unwind after exploring Ribera del Duero's vineyards during the day. The grounds are so pretty and tranquil, and the spa is amazing! The service here was top notch, as well. There was a bit of a misunderstanding regarding the room that we booked, and the staff went above and beyond to address our concerns. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!

wow. this is a dream place. a beautifully restored Abby with all the comfort and luxury of a 5 star hotel in the middle of the most majestic vineyards. the service is impeccable. the food is worthy of its Michelin star designation. the spa facilities were one of the best I’ve seen. truly exceptional. it is a curated experience…your butlers make sure every need is met and make it feel like you are the only guest in the hotel. peaceful and majestic. I highly recommend taking advantage of all the special experiences including a tour of the winery via jeep and wine tasting. the hotel also arranged for a private horse ride through the vineyards. incredible.

the only complaint I have is the outdoor pool was closed during our stay. I wish we would have been alerted as I probably would have changed the dates of the trip. despite the closure, the place was awesome.
