Right on the Camino path. Very good price. Only 6 beds to a room which meant our group of 5 had a room all to ourselves, which we appreciated. The host recommended somewhere close by to eat where the food was good and the staff where friendly

To be honest, any negatives here would be nit picking, yes the decor and facilities were dated and the rooms and reception were dark and would have benefited from an extra light, but overall for the price and location, we were more than happy.

By the end of the night there was no toilet paper left in bathroom and other pilgrims didn’t come into room until 1130pm.. but not really hostels fault.

I really like the location. I’ve stayed here before. Enjoy that they have individual rooms for small groups 5-6. It’s a great value and it’s right on the Camino, so that in the morning you jump right on the trail.

They only have 1 bathroom stall on the floor we stayed on, so in the morning there can be a line for the bathroom.

Good location and facilities

Other dormitories on the Camino include blinds, individual lamps, plugs etc on the bed which help greatly with shared rooming. My room had a number of annoying roommates who made a lot of noise, turned on lights etc. and while this is not the hostels fault, better bed facilities would help alleviate these problems

I got into Sarria early and the owner allowed me to store my bag while I went to eat and check out the town. My wife and duaghter were coming into the train station the next day and I needed to find it and an easy way back to the Albergue's area. Fairly large room for the 3 bunk beds that were in it. Bathroom and room very clean. Central area spacious and clean, and all are welcome to use it. We only had 4 out of the 6 beds used that night so it made it quieter. The owner also helpped by calling his neighboring Albergue for the 3 of us the next night. Also a great place to stay at the Albergue International.

I can't come up with any thing bad to say. Price was great and extremely convenient to a couple great places to have dinner. Not to far to the biggest and fanciest Supermercado I found on the whole Camino Frances.

Friendly reception, lots of communal space inside and out - the terrace upstairs had laundry lines, chairs and tables and overlooked the church! My room was nice, not too many beds, several windows that could be opened or left closed. There were sheets and pillowcases and blankets. Seems there were single-sex rooms though I can't be sure, and also single-sex bathrooms. The showers were OK, but make sure you figure out how to adjust the water temperature. The albergue is right on the main camino street, where all the bars and restaurants and other pilgrims are.

Only one place to charge phones etc in the room was not ideal, but I charged a powerbank and was never worried about theft. I would recommend bringing a powerbank for albergue charging anyway rather than leaving a mobile etc in a dorm room.

Great location in the old town, right on the Camino and close to everything you need. Tip: there’s a lovely Tapas bar behind the church.

Very central, so good access to restaurants. Warm welcome, and a laundry service, which was great after a day in the rain! Clean, quiet and comfortable, small dorm room with access to a kitchen and roof terrace.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! I think is the best bet to start the journey. Is literally at the beginning of the Camino and super close to the city ~5mins walking to major restaurants and stores. The price that you pay is really worth it. The reception guy is very friendly and he's gonna explain everything about the Camino before you start. There's a rooftop where you get a nice view and you can relax. Bonus: there's like a big Pilgrim store like 2mins away in case you're missing something for the journey.

The showers are too tiny (I'm 6'1) but you get hot water so not that bad.

Great location with nice restaurants and food shop almost next door. Great value for money. Good sleep in comfy bed. Helpfull and nice staff. I have stayed here 3 times!

A bit noisy when people in the other rooms got up before 06 to prepear for the Camino. But this is the same in almost every hostel. People forget that Some still sleep :)
