The location was great and near the start of the Comino. The staff were all very helpful especially all the gentlemen on reception who answered all my questions and organised the transfer of my luggage to Arzua at reasonable cost. The food was good. Got for a swim in the pool after 5 hours walking which was a bonus and very welcome. Great value to be had at this hotel.

No english speaking tv channels which might have been a blessing as got your see some of Sarria instead.

Great breakfast! And dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff - eg had posted by suitcase 8 days earlier, and it was out waiting for me. Then got help taking it to my door. Generally very helpful - let me practise using my Spanish!

It was amazing, including questions before stay. I had expected a bath, but the shower was excellent, so all good. 🙂 It's a bit distant from train station, but manageable - seems to cater for guests with cars.

Staff were very helpful and the room was quite clean and very close to the centre of the town.

Whilst the breakfast was adequate and fresh breakfast was a little chaotic as all guests who were Camino walkers arrived down to breakfast at the same time i.e 7.15am. This resulted in a shortage of some breakfast items and very long queues for one coffee machine

rooms were clean and offered room service. reception staff were very helpful

the breakfast staff were not helpful and could not find any cutlery with the language barrier it was hard to explain what you needed. the lady was very abrupt when asked if I could pay for breakfast as it was not included. The walls are not sound proof so did not get a good night sleep

This is a luxurious hotel just across the river from the old town, to which it is connected by a convenient footbridge outside the front door. The welcome and the service were friendly and helpful and the room was very well appointed and comfortable. If you wish to eat out there is a wide choice of places just across the river, but the restaurant in the hotel is beautiful with excellent food and a superb wine list including many outstanding local wines. I was walking the Camino with my son and we found our stay here to be a real treat.

The location was great. The bathtub was amazing after a long day of walking. The breakfast buffet it was also one of the best of all hotels I stayed in.

The man at the front desk checked me in, was not friendly at all. As soon as he found out, I did not speak Spanish. He seem to change his tune. I just did not feel he was very helpful or friendly. when I asked questions about breakfast and a massage, he was very short with his answer, and just was not friendly compared to other places I have stayed

location is fantastic, breakfast very good. the hotel looks nice, but it is a bit dated. staff very useful, they provided the camino pilgrim passports and kind enough to receive my amazon package

the furnishing is not really 4 stars as marketed, but a good hotel overall

Hotel is decent and very well located. Clean and room is spacious. Does the job for a 1-2 days staying. Has all the facilities and it is really close to Camino de Santiago.

Breakfast and the food in general in the restaurant is very average. I do not recommend eating there

Like a lot of European hotels in the fall and spring, this one was too hot and the air was no longer available and of course there are no window screens

The location is excellent and the interior felt modern and classy. The rooms had an equally modern feel.

The elevator jolted twice every time we used it. Brace your knees. The sliding glass bathroom door opened would open by itself likely due to uneven installation. At breakfast the staff joked that breakfast was €100 not only once but twice in a very serious tone. I did not appreciate it given we were clearly pilgrims and didn’t speak the language.
