The hotel is one of the best sites being across a walkway to San Sebastian beach. The staff, all multilingual, were all amazing especially as they were so patient with me trying to learn but mangling the language. Compimentary towels and sunshades are included. We had a first floor room overlooking the pool and was perfect. The room was well cleaned daily and the thermostat on the air con worked perfectly. The shower head was a little awry and leaked but still did it's job. The pool is private and, shall we say, refreshing! We had breakfast included and found the choice good with hot and cold choices with plenty of cereals, fruit, meats, cheeses and breads. The restaurant, although accessed from the hotel, is independant and owned and run by Krista and Chris. Great people with excellent staff we went there for several lunches as well - they are happy to deliver drinks and food to the pool.

The pool os a little shady in the afteroon but little can be done about that (there is always the beach) but there could be a few more sunbeds - currently there are eight and perhaps small tables would be a good idea for drinks. The breakfast hotplates could be turned up a little for hotter food sometimes (or lids for the containers). Small points in the overall experience.

We received a warm friendly welcome by a lovely member of staff who enquired how our journey had been. The hotel was modern and clean. Food in the restaurant was excellent and there was a large selection of food at breakfast.

Lovely hotel, helpful staff, great location

Breakfast was ok, but buffet could have been a bit better. Requested rooms close to eachother, but they were on different floors. However, it didn’t spoil the stay. Just a trifle irritating to be told on arrival, especially as I had telephoned in advance (2 days before) to ensure rooms were close.

great location, small hotel right on the beach with half the rooms with the sea view. Very clean, very quiet, with a small pool and a adjoining cafe/restaurant facing the sea. The service is excellent, very well mannered staff (including after hours and cleaning staff), nice modern rooms, huge beds, nice pillows, aircon, TV, small fridge to cool your drinks and food, new toilet and walk in shower. Lots of places to eat nearby at a reasonable price. Hotel offers free umbrellas and beach seats (saves you a lot of money). Would highly recommend.

Pool furniture could be better (broken seats and tiles around the palm tree).

The hotel reception team were amazing, the cleaners who cleaned the hotel and rooms were excellent, the room was fabulous overlooking the bay, the location was brilliant

The restaurant was a separate building accessed via an internal door and the total opposite of the main hotel building. In fact you couldn't call it a restaurant, it was a cafe. It was a complete mess with dirty paper tablecloths, miscellaneous items stored randomly throughout the restaurant, wobbly tables, and broken chairs in daily use. The only thing any staff said to us was, "What's your room number?" When we asked for some more fruit because there was very little left, we were told 'there's enough there' although he did begrudgingly provide more. Birds regularly fly around the restaurant, a disused ice cream counter lies in one corner, and cleaning materials in another, it made Faulty Towers look 5 star! Real shame because the hotel was great!

Great location, big bed and a good sized room. I also liked that there was a little mini market at reception for snacks and drinks. Netflix on the TV also which is a big plus for us when we travel.

The tile floors are absolutely freezing, would be an idea to have a mat in the rooms. I had to use my towel to stand on when getting ready which is a waste of a towel. The walls are also paper thin. We were woken every morning by moving furniture being dragged and we could hear everyone's conversations (as well as other things)through the walls. The socket on one side of the bed didn't work and the shower head wasn't fully functional but these are minor things. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to friends.

We stayed 7 nights – our room overlooking the pool was for us great. Nice size of room – new and clean bathroom exceptional Housekeeping cleaned the rooms very well– very hardworking maybe understaffed.

The restaurant has been leased out to an outsider –therefore the standard of the breakfast changed daily…. depending who was on duty. If you only stay 1/2/3 nights it shouldn’t bother you, but if you stay like us 7 nights, you see the difference in preparation, food display, variety, staff friendliness, cleanliness and service.

Location was fabulous. Clean, spacious room, friendly professional staff who were so helpful. Great breakfast selection and liked the timings of being able to eat until 10am- it allowed us a lie in. The pool area was lovely and clean and we were always able to find a sunbed. We will definitely come back. We also liked the late checkout facility.

We liked most things but felt there was a missed opportunity to repurpose the huge room next to reception as a bar/comfy sitting area as dual purpose.

Amazing spacious bedroom with beautiful sea view and a balcony to watch the waves and the world go by. The hotel had a modern feel about it, with comfort of the highest quality and was quiet, a welcome surprise while being by a busy place full of restaurants. Staff were just as amazing, very helpful and friendly, with a special thank you to Dion who made us feel ever so welcome and brought a special something for us as she is originally from Essex. The restaurant underneath the hotel, which catered for all our breakfasts as part of our package deal, was perfect and offered equally nice food and cocktails for lunch and dinner and the staff was really pleasant and deserve a mention.

Nothing, even beach towels were available on tap as well as fold up chairs and parasols, that is if you didn’t prefer chilling by the prettiest pool.
