The rooms were gorgeous, a few little things would have made me give it a 10/10 such as tea/coffee making facilities, perhaps a mirror in the room not just the bathroom and a safe to put valuables in. The breakfast was good but limited when it came to hot options. The pool area was nice and clean.

For the size of the hotel there weren’t enough sun loungers for everyone, but luckily people often went into the city for the day so they would free up. Again what I mentioned above a few little touches in the room would have made it a 10/10 room! Maybe a few extra drink options could have been nice but not vital :)

Beds and bathtub are great. Very spacious.

1. Parking: The parking facilities are poorly maintained and lack automation. While they might be suitable for a hostel, they fall far short of expectations for a 4-star hotel. This is not acceptable for such a category. 2. Breakfast: The breakfast options are extremely limited, which is completely inappropriate for a 4-star hotel. A wider variety of choices is expected at this level. 3. Reception Staff: The man at the reception was a bit rude on the first day but significantly more polite during his second shift. This inconsistency might stem from exhaustion due to long working hours. Reception staff should have adequate rest to maintain professionalism and provide excellent service.

Staff were excellent very helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. Pool a nice temperature. Only a 15 minute walk to Centre of Tarragona and nice beaches

Had to have 2 hotel rooms for a family with 3 kids which made the hotel very expensive. The larger of the 2 rooms (1 king bed and 1 single bed) could easily have had a cot added to accommodate all of us as the beds are huge. On a couple of occasions my wife and 3 kids slept in king bed and myself in the single bed which meant we paid for a room nobody was using.

We liked the location, easy to reach by car and easy to walk to the town center or to the beach. The kids liked the pool especially. Breakfast was okay not spectacular. There is parking under the hotel and the possibility to charge an electric car. Views from upper floors are also nice, for us it was a nice stopover between Valencia and Barcelona on our trip.

The rooms did not have a good noise insulation, we could hear the neighbors coming and going through the night. The staff at breakfast was mostly just standing around and talking to each other, they are for the most part really young. Our room had some smell on the balcony (strange on the 4th floor).

Modern, clean, well designed, and a very comfortable hotel. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The pool and gardens were really lovely and well maintained. We enjoyed the breakfast. The selection of foods was great and with good quality of ingredients. We stayed in a family room and it was ideal. Very spacious and well thought out. Perfect for a family of 4. The proximity to the old town made the location ideal. (Only 10 mon walk) I would definitely stay again!

Only a small complaint, but the shower was disappointing. In the family room it was an in bath, non adjustable height head and the temperature was very difficult to control and get right as it was a mixer tap.

The hotel was really good in all respects. Super friendly staff. Excellent location near to both beaches and city centre. Very good facilities - nice pool and sunbeds, good and reasonably priced bar and nice, sunny balcony. Breakfast buffet was also very good with a great choice of coffee, including decaf!

I don't think we could have asked for anything more from the hotel. The city of Tarragona was lovely, too. But the public transport links with Reuss airport could be better with a few more direct buses as the taxis were quite expensive for a very short journey.

Great hotel all the staff were very helpful and friendly,room was cleaned every day by the friendly cleaning ladies,breakfast was lovely lots of choice, like other comments though sometimes had to Que as only one coffee machine, about a 10 minute walk to both old town and a lovely beach, lovely room lots of nice toiletries and clean towels that you can take to the pool, pool was lovely, thank-you all at Astari for our lovely stay 😃

My only negative comment would be is not having a kettle in the room for a hot drink when you wake up

Lovely room overlooking the pool area with very comfortable huge bed and excellent bathroom and shower. Pool area was lovely and had a nice seating area outside for either dining or more relaxed furniture when having a coffee or drink, we never sat inside because of this. Good valve breakfast with a good choice and presentation was good, €10 per person and was worth it. Food in general was ok and no more than this but there are lots of amazing restaurants in the old town so spoiled for choice. In general all the staff were very professional and friendly

My one issue with the hotel is that they charge full car parking for a motorcycle. I traveled all over Spain, Portugal and Andorra on this trip and not one hotel charged me for parking a single motorcycle. €12 a day for a motorbike is ridiculous and the hotel needs to review this policy. The reception guy told me if I had more 3 motorcycles the price would be the same ! No use to me when I was travelling one bike. The underground car park has loads of dead spaces where motorcycles can fit or do what most hotels do a create a few area for motorcycles to park for free. This is the only reason I would not use this hotel again as I enjoyed my two night stay here just paying €24 to park was not nice.

A lovely hotel and in a built up area, chosen because it has safe parking for our overnight stop. However, the parking was full and they wanted us to park some ten minute walk away. No way! They allowed us to park outside in the drop off zone. Thé restaurant was lovely to look at like the rest of the place, but the evening meal was local supermarket guacamole, frozen chips with a piece of salmon. No salad, not even a few peas. It looked like something I throw together when I’m shattered after work! Breakfast was continental and was better.

The rooms are spacious, and the family room comes with a proper third bed—not just a sofa-bed like in many other hotels. Room facilities are good, and the pool is great for children as it's not too deep. The location is convenient, with a large supermarket just 6 minutes away and beaches or the old town within a 10–15 minute walk (though be prepared for some steps).

Hotel parking is very limited and always full in summer. Street parking nearby is also hard to find during the busy season.
