The parador is gorgeous and well located on the hill over the town awesome views. Parking is plentiful. We took a €14 taxi into the town.
The cafe seemed understaffed. The service was so slow and the waiters were a bit terse and seemed to struggle to keep up. One waiter literally ran up with a bottle of cava, poured it so fast that it bubbled to the top and ran off, leaving me with a glass less than half full . Another time I waited for a waiter, then eventually walked to the bar to order a second coffee. The barrister told me to sit quite rudely, But they never came back . I left without my coffee This was on every occasion. Which made the experience of sitting on the beautiful terrace annoying at best.

A little far from historic centre about 40 mins walk though is a nice walk

Magnificent location above the city. Great room with doors opening out onto a patio and the lawn leading to the poolside. Sun recliners and towels provided. Reception was excellent and very helpful as I had a problem with a damaged tyre and they gave me information to get it fixed. Dining was excellent, bar/ cafe not so good.
Bar/cafe seemed understaffed and they were a little stressed. It was difficult to get attention and placing an order was sometimes lost in translation? After sunset, the locals used the roads around the Parador as their own private race track and it was quite intrusive until quite late. Not the Parador’s fault but perhaps the local police could intervene?

The location, the views, the staff, the swimming pool and the soft and well maintained grass around it.. amazing to keep it so green and soft in such harsh/hot weather conditions.! compliments for that to your gardiners.!
The breakfast.! an absolute disappointment for the amount if money you pay for it.. the presentation, the lack of all kinds of basic things like water & bread which were finished and not replenished until we asked for it, an omelette which was really dry, coffee not hot etc.. a shame for such a lovely place and in comparison to the price you pay for such breakfast (21,- Eur) This should be improved a lot.. or, and if not possible to improve, you cut the breakfast price by half to keep it fair in terms of a quality/price ratio.!

The hotel has fabulous views of the city. The terrace and restaurant and cafe has fabulous views of the city. The pool is a great size and the rooms were very comfortable- we had a pool view and balcony (208/209). The breakfast was really good - would definitely recommend and the view could not have been better .
Maybe staff could have been a bit more welcoming but did help us order taxis. It seems there are not many taxis in Toledo that fit 5 people so they advised us we needed to order 2 which seemed unusual and we are not sure if this really is the case ? When we returned we did seem to find a large taxi which fit us all in no problem.

Everything about the Parador de Toledo shouts class: right from the expansive front courtyard, the beautiful internal decorations, vaulted ceilings and the super stylish restaurant. Our superior room didn’t disappoint, well appointed and airy with a wonderful view from the balcony. Sympathetically decorated throughout, the hotel is a gem. Dinner and breakfast were good quality and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly, although a little over stretched at a busy dinner service when we stayed. Free parking, and easy to find from main routes in. You need to get a taxi into town, but it costs less than €10, and well worth it.
Not a major issue, but area that housed breakfast food was a little small and cramped for number of guests. Good food selection though .

As most people have said the views over Toledo are amazing but it's a fairly long walk there and back, though we didn't mind but just to be aware. Beds very comfortable and jacuzzi in bathroom fabulous. Parking great and easy!
Breakfast was continental only so thought dear at 21 euros. Pool not heated so no swim sadly and beautiful terrace area closed whilst we were there. Didn't use cafe only to pop in for glass of wine or coffee, both great but a separate bar and some proper coffee in the bedroom would be a bonus. But we did have a great stay, thank you.

Having stayed at ' Parador Toledo ' so many times and just keep coming back for more I ask of you to visit this beautiful haven ! I would like to thank all who work at the Parador for their exceptional energy and welcome throughout! Alcazar, you get a little SPECIAL MENTION ! The Parador creation for those who know is an ingenious idea backed by the Spanish Government a long time ago ...Why we never adopted this idea in the UK astounds me .....Yes ....The Spanish are way ahead of the game ....Historic Castles and estates of great magnificence are open for you to stay at unbelievable rates backed up with the loveliest workforce anyone could wish for ...... Toledo is particularly special and those that have been know exactly why!
That question cannot not be addressed as it is the most beautiful place to visit !

The room was absolutely amazing. The staff as well (except the head waitress at the cafe)
the head waitress at the cafe was rude (yelled at our group a couple of times when we tried to give a food order) the jets in the bath tub did not work

Everything was wonderful. We had a view of the pool and part side view of the city. The balcony added a very relaxed and welcomed bonus. The views from the terrace and breakfast room were amazing. The pool was cool but needed on a very hot day, and pool towels are offered. Toledo is stunning, we left the car and taxi’d into the city, for around €10 each way. The parking is good, some shaded. We had a friendly welcome and were given some good advice about where to be dropped off in Toledo and picked up again and what to see. We ate out whilst there. The hotel itself is lovely, clean, friendly and welcoming. We had drinks on the terrace in the evening. The bedroom was huge, the bed was comfortable and the room was in keeping with the hotels style. The breakfast room had amazing views and the food was delicious, the coffee and juices nice too. The breakfast staff very welcoming. We would definitely stay again.
Nothing.
