Don’t like having to select breakfast choices the afternoon before! - but understand that because of few guests this would assist the hotel. However, breakfast was excellent - so much food provided that we had enough to take away for lunch! There are no other facilities in Torazo (that we could see) but the guide books fail to mention that it is a fascinating village with many unusual architectural features.

Everything! Especially the service and the friendliness of the stuff were spectacular! We didn’t want to leave, a perfect place for a recharge.

Nothing to complain.

Obviously you have to pay extra for the spa but it was lovely, you need a swim cap. The room itself was great, we are travelling with a teenager and the suite gave him and us some privacy. The breakfast was delightful. Our first meal was fiddly, see below. Our second meal was excellent. Outside pool lovely, shame about the weather. The village is delightful.

The menu could do with being a little clearer - we made choices for our first meal and were then told we had ordered too much food... how are we meant to know if there is no direction on the menu?

We were upgraded to a lovely room with a separate lounge and a private garden area. Very comfortable bed and a nice big bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A beautiful location with fantastic views. The swimming pool area was lovely but we didn’t use it as the weather was poor. The parking was perfect, easy for our motorbike.

The hotel was very quiet during our stay so breakfast choices were limited. The menu did not vary so not too many choices for us although the food was very good.

The hotel has beautiful views. Very quiet. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the services. We had a meal and were delighted. Very good cuisine, elaborate dishes, and competitive prices. The staff was very helpful and attentive when advising us on what to do in the area, although before our arrival we received an email with a summary of things to do and places to eat. We did not use it, but for the spa there was a very complete menu of different treatments available, and the pool has spectacular views over the valley.

To say something, it would have been nice to have the cafeteria available a little earlier (it opens at 12) in case you decide not to opt for the buffet offered by the hotel for breakfast. Other than that, I found it to be an idyllic place, I will recommend it and I hope to return for another break.

Great view and spacious rooms. Convenient parking and tasty breakfast. A big plus for the spa area and the additional outdoor pool.

The spa staff can get a bit too into their role, which can be a bit annoying — especially since they don’t fully understand how things like the sauna are supposed to work, encouraging guests to use it in flip-flops and swimsuits :) That said, everyone is very polite, and the prices are quite reasonable.

Lovely big room with fabulous views

I had asked about the spa facilities and costs when we checked in and said I definitely wanted to use them. Unfortunately she failed to mention that i needed to reserve a time slot, so when i went to use them it was already booked, and as we were only staying the one night I was unable to. It was the main reason we booked that particular hotel so i was disappointed. As an aside each person quoted different prices to use the facilities??

The hotel is located in the middle of Asturias, which is great for hiking or just relaxing. It is family friendly and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The spa facilities are great and breakfast exceptional (we especially liked the Spanish tortilla)

It is a bit dated and could do with a bit of renovation

Additional cost for spa When we arrived we said that in principle we would only be interested in using the outdoor pool which we thought was included in the price but the person at the reception informed us that the outdoor pool is also counted as spa and we had to pay to use it. Then another staff of hotel taking care of spa told us it was not the case and the outdoor pool was free of charge so a bit confusing

The hotel was great, location was beautiful, staff was extremely friendly, restaurant was exceptional, beds were comfortable.

We weren't a big fan of the spa. It was also on the expensive side and we were charged extra because we didn't bring shower caps, even though they were in the room.
