The staff is very polite and helpful, going out of "standard" procedure to make our stay pleasant. Animation team is always cheerful and jolly. Food was great, very diverse, it was often the case that there was too much dishes I wanted to try during a meal, so I just had to skip some. Gymnastics, kids club, evening shows and kid disco - plenty of activities there. Rooms look a bit dated, but still very clean and everything properly working. Comfy beds. Cleaning was also thorough and with attention to details (like misplaced toys and stuff picked up and put in order). Very close to the public beach.

Pretty much nothing. Some design decision looked a bit out of place to me, but that's a matter of taste and definitely not impacting our stay.

The staff deserve a 15/10, honestly everyone was really friendly and not the forced kind. Animation team was super! Food was really good. We had a blast at this hotel😊

Sunbeds, unfortunately people reserve eventhough the hotel asks you not to. Try not to get stressed, they have extra sunbeds and if you didnt find one you can ask reception and they bring for you. More umbrella’s are needed though as not everyone has shade. But they are working on it I was told.

i pay for junior suite room and i received a standard room,when i ask the reception they told me that don t have junior suite available and the manager of reception ask me to move to another hotel if don t accept this standard room,this is not a professional answer from a manager of 4 stars hotel,after 2 hours and many calls to booking.com he ofered a junior suite in a next day.i was very dissiponted with this attitude.

This resort is good for families with kids aged between 3-10 years old. It has a huge pool with different depths, the sea is very close, and there is a small splash park also. Our children were rather played with us and each other, but the animators seems to be doing a good job entertaining kids. The variety of food and the quality is pretty good. The rooms are huge, you might spend more time here because the heat during the summer demands siesta time. What surprised me the most, that most of the staff, especially in the dining area is aged 50+, and they do a very-very good work, while being super nice to kids. The hotel is also a good compromise if you wish to make day trips to Malaga, Granada, Marbella, the Sierra Nevada, and even Gibraltar.

The dining area is not big enough, sometimes you have to wait 10-15 minutes to get in, and buffet tables are very crowded. Also, even though that there was a kitchen in our family suits, no mini-bar, or room service was available, so you either start to buy drinks at the souvenir shops, or awkwardly try to bring drinks with you from the dining area - both is a terrible solution. Yes, the they have water machines on every floor, but many times they were empty. The cleaning service tended to come at weird times, like 8am, or 7pm, but I suspect it was because they are overworked, any did a very good job anyway.

Great hotel, excellent facilities and food/drink. But the best bit was probably the staff, they were all hugely friendly and welcoming, particularly the kids club and restaurant staff.

If I was pushed to say something more critical, our room was perhaps starting to look a little tired, and looked out onto a residential street with bottle bank etc. But we could have paid more for a sea view, so I can't argue about the view.

Spacious room with balcony and pool/sea view, cleaned every day. We had all inclusive and the meal was great, every dinner was a bit different (themed dinners - France, Mexico etc.) Just few steps from the beach and the promenade, nice 20 min. walk to the lighthouse. Helpful and pleasant staff. Star Camp programme children offered enouh activities every day. Mobile app worked well and we found that very useful. We would definitely recommed this hotel and the Sea-view Junior Suite.

We didn't try much the snack bar offer, since we were not hungry :-), but there is always something to choose from. But we didn't like the fact that cut fruits at the snack bar were exposed to the sunshine whole afternoon.

Beautiful hotel, pool area particularly lovely. Room was modern, spacious and comfortable. Pillows were new and good ( not thin and worn as previous comments). Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Conchita on reception. Food excellent, including fresh fish cooked to order in the evening and eggs and pancakes cooked to order in the mornings. Great location on beach promenade. Will definitely return, fantastic value for this quality of hotel.

Dining room was large and tables rather close together, quite noisy. We were able to take our coffee outside and maybe could have eaten outside if we'd asked though, patio area lovely. Food was excellent and dining room staff all very helpful and friendly.

room and breakfast were both excellent. I didn't use the pool.

I had a small amount of noise from a next door room and also a restaurant outside. The restaurant didn't disturb me very much at all. The next door room was a bit more annoying but the occupant left after 2 days and it wasn't bad enough for me to ask for a room change. I've been to this hotel 3 times before and would almost certainly stay there again when I next visit Torrox Costa - it is an excellent hotel.

Everything was exceptional. I visited with my daughter and 2 granddaughters. My husband and myself had a 1 bedroom studio apartment - room 1109 - and my daughter and her 2 daughters had a 2 bedroom apartment - room 1001 - which we upgraded when we arrived because we needed proper beds for all of them as they are all adults. The only thing was that one of the beds in their room was very unstable and creaked and moved on its wobbly legs so my granddaughter didn't have such a good sleep as us!
