I booked this hotel to attend a wedding with my family. I was surprised that this is a one-star hotel as it appears to be three-star. The hotel is 15 minutes from Vigo airport. It is 10/15 minutes from a busier main street and park. The reception is very friendly and welcoming. The prices are exceptionally reasonable. The hotel has a villa appearance with outdoor seating and a large balcony to take in the views. The rooms are medium-sized with a small bathroom. The bed is fine and the wardrobe has adequate space with plenty of hangers for short stays. There is no air conditioning, but the windows allow enough ventilation. The bathroom is tiny with a small shower, but the water pressure and heat are excellent. The hand gel by the sink is a nice touch. The breakfast service is good providing a large options of food and drink. The dinner service is also fine providing basic local meals at a good cost. Overall an excellent experience.

The one drawback was that they were doing construction next door to renovate a room that we were not told about during or before the booking. It started with loud drilling in the afternoon until early evening. Having attended a wedding we were tired by afternoon and came back to rest before evening. It was impossible to rest. We also had dust come through the ventilator and cover most of the bathroom. We had to clean out items and wipe the bathroom. My wife spoke to the worker in Spanish who apologised and started to clean the bathroom. We did not get an apology from reception. Despite this annoyance, we still recommend this hotel, but it may be worth checking if any work is being done during your stay.

The breakfast was ample with some local items.We were allowed to park in the Hotel grounds as the outside parking was full to capacity.The owner was very efficient and drew us a map of the area, gave us suggestions of places to go.There were pilgrims staying, singing going on, it seemed to be a religious centre of some kind.

The two flights of stairs up to our attic room in the eaves !We are both pensioners so it was quite an effort for us and our luggage!I banged my head as the sloping roof was right over my bed.The bathroom was like a cupboard, The lack of a proper map of the city of Vigo, most Hotels we have stayed in do provide them.My husband had had an accident the day before so the stairs were a bridge too far for him

It was so clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially the Front Desk lady Ana. She let me in before check in which was very kind. It would’ve been nice had there been eggs at breakfast but there weren’t. Oh well, the place was excellent so it made up for lack of eggs!

I wanted a break from hostels while on my Camino and this place was perfect. I arrived dusty and tired and was invited to rest in the shady garden and given water until it was time to check in. A lovely quiet clean room and a chance to order dinner made me feel very relaxed. And they agreed to do some laundry also. All for such a good price including breakfast! Really - do yourself a favour peregrino and spend a night here if your camino takes you to Vigo. You won't regret it.

Nothing. It was all good. In high summer the lack of Aircon might become an issue but it wasn't when I stayed.

The staff went above and beyond. I arrived too early to check in, but was quite ill and needed a place to rest and recover from a fever and flu. They were able to clean a room and allow me to check in and sleep. One employee even offered to make me chicken soup! The room was on the courtyard next to the beautiful water fountain. It helped me sleep with the soothing sound. I can say enough about the staff because they even came to check on how I was recovering.

No negatives.

A very comfy bed, lovely hot shower, bedroom big. It was very quiet ( except for the big storm raging outside) Evening meal (extra cost) was delicious 😋 There was a lot of choice for breakfast, toast, cereals, pastries, spoiled for choice. I would stay again. I had a lovely balcony, just a shame it was raining

I felt like I was staying in a hacienda in Ecuador. The grounds and balcony were excellent. We stayed in a small room with a lovely big skylight we could open for fresh air. Supper was good and inexpensive. Breakfast was satisfying and free.

The rain came in the skylight in the night, but that was easy to remedy.

Parking could have been better, it was remote from the actual hotel and was shared with workmen from an adjacent site

Good value for money. Only a short taxi into town. The staff were fantastic, Anna was amazing and couldn't do enough for us, serving us drinks in the garden on arrival and always being very attentive. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you from us all x

The receptionist was the nicest person ever! So kind and helpful. I wish I could’ve thanked her more.
