Great value for money. The staff is amazing and they are trying their best to accommodate your requests and give you a great service. Super calm and quiet and facing the beach. We preferred this hotel to Cinnamon Bay which is next to this, because Cinnamon was too crowded, including the garden and pool. Here we could use the pool without too many people and not a lot of children running around. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very nice as well.

The hotel should invest in maintenance and repair of the hotel as you can see the signs the hotel needs renovation. There's not a lot staff can do in this case. When we checked in we realized the bathroom was not very clean and it had hair left from the previous guests. Management should train and educate staff. Wi-fi is not good and can be improved.

Wonderful Stay at Earl’s Reef Beruwala with Amazing Service! I recently stayed at Earl’s Reef Beruwala with my family, and we had a fantastic experience! The location of the hotel is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, and our room had an incredible sea view The hotel also has a lovely garden area that provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere during our stay. A special mention goes to the Food and Beverage staff, particularly Gihan, who made our dining experience so memorable. He was always attentive, friendly, and went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of. We also want to thank Dilahra at the Front Office for being so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay — He truly made us feel like valued guests. The pool, though small, was always clean and well-maintained, Morning beach was amazing and evening beach times with he family was great too. The food was tasty and worth the price. The only improvement I would suggest is the bed linen and towels, as they could use a little update for a more comfortable experience. But overall, the staff’s warmth and the beautiful location made it a stay to remember. I highly recommend Earl’s Reef Beruwala for anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway with wonderful service and great views.!

Every single staff member was responsive to our needs and welcoming in a way to make us feel special. The resort layout is thoughtfully done to take full advantage of the shoreline. Excellent sea view from the room and the lovely poolside courtyard were very relaxing.

The spa closes at 5pm when the day's activities are not over yet. We wanted to be out and about in the sun, get back tired to end the day with a spa visit but couldn't. We did not find the resort's (semi) private beach ideal for leisurely walks or swims because of the pebble mixed coarse sand. However, the lovely Bentota Park beach was only 5-10 minute tuktuk ride away.

Perfect location situated near the beach, specially the garden area is more peaceful & relaxing. Very friendly & helpful hotel staff who always gave us a good care. We've got a free room upgrade to a superior suit that made our stay in the hotel was perfect and memorable too. Specially my wife & son had a wonderful experience too. The dinner & breakfast was perfect with good varieties. Special thanks to Gihan, who always given us a good support during our stay. Great value for money. Highly recommend this place for a calm & peaceful stay with your family members.

Coming from the travel industry, we understand the property and management are doing their best to get it up and running to normal speed after a 2 to 3 year shutdown. This is expected all over. They are doing the utmost to welcome all.

Guests need to alert staff of anything they may have overlooked. Management and staff are very happy to chat about anything at all.

Staff was really kind..they upgraded us to a superior suite, especially the manager who made things happen promplty, as it was my sons bday and he wanted to stay in a room with a bath tub. They also arranged a cake for him, which made his day. The room was comfortable and big, bathroom too was really nice and the attached gallery had a fantastic view. We really had a good stay.

Service could be more prompt, as it took a while in fulfilling ask around stuff you need as part of your room: adapter, iron etc.

Amazing location+ comfortable rooms with stunning views + gave a wonderful cot for my infant. 24/7 hot water. The attached balcony was super spacious and given the views form there almost all our time was spent there only. The beach adjoining the hotel is just perfect! The force of the waves is reduced by a nearby reef so the waves are nice and safe for even kids to play in. Pool is also wonderful. Staff is friendly and warm. They even have us complementary Christmas cake as we were there on Christmas Eve. Breakfast was decent at the property. As it wasn't included in our package, we paid an additional amount of 3000 rs per person. Uber eats delivers food from numerous nearby restaurants as well.

Well, the first night we were there we wanted to order food from the restaurant. We only had the number of the reception. Reception said they cant take order on phone and will send someone to our room. We called reception twice and yet they did not send anyone to take our order. Finally we just made do with what we had with us and went to bed...that was our only negative experience...all the remaining times we called reception asking for water, towels etc, they immediately complied.

It was a big and nice property, everything was there, a nice view, the ocean, a big garden and a pool which was very clean and well maintained. All the staffs were really friendly and helpful!

There where alot of mosquitoes. And the bed sheet was not very clean, also the ac stoped working suddenly but as soon as i mentioned all this at the reception, they apologized and helped us out immediately.

We were during off season and the beach and pool were empty - private beach - a la carte menu from the restaurant was very good (even though we had to wait 2 hours for our food to come - maybe because it was off season. Their prices were a bit high compared with other places - the view from the room was amazing - very helpful staff

- bathroom was very smelly and small - repeated breakfast - only one other restaurant close to the hotel (we had a car and that was not a problem for us) - during our stay the hotel, the elevator was not working - they did not have a place for our renovation - the room door was difficult to close

Very good staff, our room was upgraded into suite which was really nice. Lov how easy to access the beach.

Wifi was soooo slow. That really annoyed us.Some of the toiletries were missing ( toothbrush and toothpaste, body lotion, conditioner). Iron was missing too.Had to call them to get them.It took a good amount of time to get the hot water. We let it open and ran it for a while to make thr water warm.
