First to point it is not an ordinary hotel. It is Ayurveda hotel, place where you can improve your health and reconnect your body and soul. If you are looking for luxury hotel where you can have entertainment and delicious food it is not your place. If you are on purpose it is the proper place for you. I have tried 3 days wellness package of procedures and they were great. I have had a meeting with Ayurveda doctor and have received good advices about my health. The food in Ayurveda restaurant is good maybe it is not the food you are accustomed to. There are tea bar with Ayurvedic teas and a large variety of fresh juices during the day.The room was comfortable and quiet with great view to the beautiful garden. Overall good experience and I intend to come back.

The bed and the pillow were not very comfortable. The towels and the bed linen were exhausted. The transfer service they offer is more expensive than usual.

Our room was very comfortable, good quality furniture and comfortable bed. The staff is so nice and kind. We were honeymoon couple and at the restaurant they always prepared our table with flowers. Also the staff help us with the city and gave us information. Spa people were also so nice, I loved the whole body massage also hand and feet massage.

The only negative thing I can say is the robes given for Spa were smelling so bad. I dont know if it was smell of humidity or what, but I think they need to check and change this. Because you are obliged to wear the given robes for the Spa / massage, and I was really bothered by the bad smell of it.

The first thing to consider for this hotel, is where it is. For Sri Lankan standards, thats a great hotel. For european standards it’s a fair hotel. The staff is amazing. From Stephanie-the manager-to everyone un service.

The food is just blunt. The massages are of a fair quality, but dont expect any anatomical knowledge while being massaged. Specially for the face massage.

Friendly hotel. Like a Big Happy family. Brilliant. Staff is well trained and willing to help through our trip. Wanted to say more. Love it.

Hotel layout, staff, food, and all the ayurvedea treatment. They looked after us like very important people. They look after all their guest the same.

The property is very spacious. Direct access to the beach. Territory is beautiful with various flora and fauna which was quite entertaining. Staff was very helpful and friendly. A bit too attentive as to my liking.

The bed was very small and a pillow was also small and not very comfortable. Also was surprised that alcoholic drinks are not included in the “all inclusive”

The rooms were immaculate.

The experience was like being at a German retirement village set in Sri Lanka. Everything in German (not an issue), quiet. The food and drinks options were far below average (fruit lying out, flies, small selections for lunch and dinner, Nescafé powdered instant coffee), bar snacks were tomato and cucumber sandwiches on bread that tasted like dust and a 1” piece of Madeira cake. Alcohol additional cost. Beach nearby essentially a no go as group of men sat outside on patio furniture, facing the exit from the hotel then following you along the beach trying to sell you things.
