Just amazing. The accomidation is very nice secluded in the trees. You feel like you are in your own little paradise! The pool is the best, nice and big and clean. Rooms are spacious and the bed above is the best voor (older) kids with there own little window and some cussion for chilling. We had some problems in the room but the staff helpef us right away. I think the people that work here make the hotel even better thats why it is worth the 10. Food is very good (you should have dinner there especially the curry!) Even the owner and his wife are very friendly. We met them just before we left. He is an amazing architect for coming up with this. Just perfect for us!

It's a small compact but very well designed property. The staff were very friendly. The pool was great and the rooms were cosy and clean. It is located in the middle of town so a bit noisy. There are only 4 rooms in this property and a villa. When we were there only one other room was occupied so it was like having the place to ourselves so it was great !!

The breakfast spread could definitely have been better. It was just fruits, toast and eggs and some Sri Lankan traditional food that really did not meet our expectations. The staff were friendly and courteous. The other thing that disppointed me was that I was charged almost 20 dollars more than the estimate provided by Booking.com. This did not happen in any of the other properties we stayed in throughout our trip.

A Peaceful Getaway in a Stunning Treehouse Setting We had a truly memorable stay at Bilin Tree House. We were warmly welcomed by three friendly staff members who looked after us throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and we honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Our room on the first was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — ideal for a relaxing retreat. We highly recommend Bilin Tree House to anyone looking for a quiet and serene escape. A perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature!

That said, there isn’t much to do outside the property itself, so we recommend planning your days with outdoor activities. Visiting the Galle Dutch Fort or spending time at Unawatuna beach are great options to complement your stay at Bilin Tree House.

The location is just 5-8 minutes by tuk-tuk from the Galle Fort, but it also offers a sanctuary to escape the heat with its gorgeous cold pool. The staff are incredible. The tuk tuk driver, Lahiru, is the most helpful, smiley person; he dropped us off and picked us up on numerous occasions. He works for Bilin Tree House, so getting around is super easy. We stayed in the cottage, which is a 300-year-old original bungalow. It is lovely and quiet. The staff let us stay for the day at Bilin Tree house as our departure from the airport was midnight. They even brought us towels and cold iced water while we swam in the pool. We will definitely come back to stay again. This was our last night after 2 weeks in Sri Lanka, and we were very sad to leave.

This is a lovely small hotel just outside the centre of Galle. The guys who run it were simply the best - super helpful, giving tips, arranging transport etc. and genuinely wanted us to have the best experience. The breakfast is generous (freshly made to order each day) and delicious: breads, cake, fruit, toast, eggs. Everything at the hotel was clean, spacious, comfortable and relaxing. Thanks!

No complaints about the hotel staff, but the staff in the “reservations office” were not easy to get hold of. They don’t work Sundays! In fairness we tried to amend the check in date a little last minute but all to three numbers on their website and this website were sent to voicemail, emails and messages unanswered. Finally….after about 10 phone calls we spoke to someone and the booking change was agreed.

The hotel was beautifully done. It was green and courtyard was surrounded by tropical trees. The pool was great for a dip. We stayed in a triple room where the single bed was placed in a aloft and the double bed was downstairs so the common room are felt nice and spacious. The bathroom was big and well lit. We also liked that we had our own balcony overlooking the hotel courtyard and pool. The breakfast here was one of the best we've had. The staff were super friendly and courteous.

I cant think of anything. The hotel provided us everything we wanted from comfortable beds to delicious food.

The staff were absolutely wonderful and so helpful with anything we needed. The rooms were v clean - we stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. The food was nice too both breakfast and once we had evening meal there. The manager recommended we visit the sister hotel on the beach in Galle where they provided us with sunbeds and towels without charge which was really nice to do one day.

The bedrooms were all air conditioned but the living area and kitchen were not. This wasn’t a major issue for us in December but suspect in the summer wouldn’t be ideal.

The staff and the food at Bilin were equally amazing. We were looking forward to seeing what type of surprise was waiting for us at breakfast each day. Indiga (spelling?) and the staff were so accommodating and were ready to assist at every turn. We were even invited to a NYE celebration in the area which turned out to be a blast. The Lotus room we stayed in was spacious and the bed was unbelievably comfortable.

The only complaint we had (and the only reason why our stay wasn't 10 out of 10) was with the wifi. Although we could connect easily, the wifi wasn't adequate enough to send emails/do any work. However, since we weren't there for the internet, but rather to relax, it wasn't a deal-breaker.

Staff were amazing. Cleanliness of the property was great. Food was incredible and staff were very good at making sure they could make something that suited dietary requirements and ages. Beautiful property overall.

Location was close to town but right next to a school so could be loud during lunch times if you were trying to relax by the pool. Nothing really to walk to in the surrounding neighbourhood, would always need to get transport to other things.

This hotel has just 4 rooms plus another bungalow they rent out and is a little off the beaten track (5-10 mins drive to Galle) which was no issue for us as we were on a tour with a driver. We loved it - the rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and AC worked well. They don't clean your rooms however each day but didn't bother us (we were there 2 days). The room we had was perfect as we had our 12 year old with us and it has a mezzanine floor with an additional bed which he loved. The pool is like a little oasis and great to cool off in after a days site seeing. It's easy to get to Galle and also only about 10-15 mins the other direction to Unawatuna and other beaches which was perfect for us. We ate in Galle in the evenings. Breakfast was excellent with lovely friendly service.

Only thing would be if the rooms were cleaned once a day.
