Friendly staff, made a big effort with cleaning the room. Gave us new water everyday and whenever we ordered with reception, it was delivered in seconds. The staff were the heroes of this hotel. Also has a gym! Walking distance from Dewata beach, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend the Catamaran on Dewata beach, especially on Wednesday they have great performances, music.

Although hotel has beautiful sea view. It is on the main road, so noises can be bit loud. You will have to get a tuk tuk to get to Unawatuna or Galle, but they are frequently available and cheap enough.

Blue Beach Gall 8 out of 10 We stayed two nights at Blue Beach Gall. It was a nice hotel. The staff was very friendly, including Kalpani at the reception and the maintenance team. I requested a room upgrade, and we were given two rooms with no additional costs. I recommend sea-viewing rooms. Nice comfortable beds (I would rate the bed firmness 8.5 of 10). The rooftop bar/restaurant is a great place to be in the evening. The choice of food is limited if you are looking for Asian/Sri Lankan food. Otherwise, there are plenty of items on the menu to choose from. The hotel shows signs of ageing, but with a little TLC, it can return to its prime.

The hotels location was great, good view of the sea and city streets. The rooms have all the amenities that you need, staff were helpful and considerate. The rooftop bar was a lovely view of the city, however the food is slightly overpriced. For the area it's a good hotel, but I would look around at other areas to stay on the coast in the future.

It is very noisy as its right on the main road and there aren't any other facilities e.g. Gym or swimming pool.

It is on the main road just next to beach view a lot of restaurants nearby and most importantly the day we arrived there is INDIAN RESTAURANT which opened same day . The chef made special dinner for us night before there opening making us feel like home there . Food was very tasty and potion was more than enough for two .

Stayed here for 1 night. Not a bad location If you don’t mind walking. It’s about 25/30 minute walk to Galle or Unawatuna as it’s located in the middle of both. Just be aware that it’s main roads in some places so not always ideal to walk along!

Nothing major, but there’s no mirror in the room other than the short bathroom one, so just bare that in mind if you like getting ready!😊

the location was bordered with another city Unawatuna however to the right was an industrial area that wasn’t very nice. also, the hotel didnt serve breakfast so finding restaurants in the morning wasnt hassle free. the hotel should actually make an agreement with the private owned restaurant in its hotel to serve breakfast

There is no in house restaurant. But, Dinmore restaurant is in the ground floor.

The view is excellent. I always book the sea view rooms so that I can watch the sunset from the balcony which is exceptional. The staff is also very welcoming and kind and I would for sure book this hotel if I am visiting Galle again

Excellent service from the staff. They were super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and delicious, and very affordable, The location is great. Overall it was a good experience and worth the price I paid.

Found some hair and stains on the green coverlet on the bottom of the mattress.
