We had a wonderful stay at Jetwing Jaffna, and the hospitality we received truly made our trip memorable. A special mention goes to the amazing front reception team, especially Christeena, who was incredibly warm and helpful from the moment we arrived. Kobi and Jeeva also ensured check-in and support were smooth and friendly throughout our stay. The restaurant team deserves equal praise—led by the ever-attentive Shiraz, the manager, and the very professional and courteous Akila. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt and polished every time we dined in. A big thanks as well to Roshan, the hotel driver, who took us around Jaffna and made sure we were comfortable while exploring the city. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Room service was prompt and staff were always accommodating with any requests we had. All in all, Jetwing Jaffna exceeded our expectations, and we’d definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the north!

Well above our expectations. Staff was very discrete and professional. We used the restaurant facilities (the nicest quality from all the hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka) as well as the rooftop bar. A manager in the restaurant was very kind and welcoming as half of our group were of Sri Lankan descent but grew up in North America. When we can return we would happily do so. The hospitality was at the highest level.

The front desk did not understand that for a French Credit Card/Visa we need to put in our 4-digit PIN code. We explained this to staff many times. When we left we informed staff it worked in the restaurant so we asked they use that machine to process the payment for the rooms. We had to go inside the restaurant with the staff and find the server who attended our table in order to process the payment on our credit card.

The food was exceptionally good, as were the staff. We chose from the a la carte menu and each dish was excellently prepared and well presented. It was my choice to avoid the buffet - but the spread looked amazing. The waiters, the chefs, the manager, the reception staff - they were all very helpful. It would seem like the employees like working for Jetwing and it shows!!!

I didn't like the room particularly... as a single occupant I had a smaller room (albeit with a queen size bed) and even though it was comfortable, it felt quite restricted. My friends had a double occupancy room which felt a lot more spacious. I also felt that everything was too heavy - appreciate Jetwing's zero plastic orientation, but the wood used for the bedroom doors and the stone in the corridors made everything a little too oppressive. Jaffna has its own unique architecture and culture so it was a little disappointing to witness the Ïndian orientation of this hotel - including in the restaurant. More public spaces to hang out may have improved the livability of the hotel

We had a wonderful stay - as UK born Tamils, travelling with our young baby, we were anxious about the trip but Jetwing Jaffna enabled us to enjoy our stay - the staff honestly went above and beyond to ensure that we have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff are just exemplary, absolutely exceptional service and the food was exquisite (the a la carte options being excellent value too) - we had most of our meals as a family during our stay in Jaffna at the Jetwing restaurant. We hope to stay again in future

A lovely hotel in the centre of the city in a very different and very interesting part of Sri Lanka. Rooms were small, very well designed with an appealing decor. The breakfast was a buffet - very good - and the staff and chef would very kindly make something for you not on offer. We found at dinner, if we asked for something not on the menu again they would make it. The dinning room/breakfast room is just beautiful- velvet chairs, lovely view. Strongly recommend going to Jaffna and this hotel is a great place to stay.

In a room the mini fridge was not working and I made several requests to change and they gave many excuses for 2 days and I had to raise my volume saying that I will complain to booking.com and then they changed, during our check out exactly at the time they switched off the power in the rooms and acted very rude.

The food was good and the rooms and beds comfortable.

Not much to do or see in-house but perfectly fine for a transit hotel. More could be done with the rooftop bar to make it more inviting to stay. It was unstaffed the two times we went up there. Having some tropical plants, Srilankan deco and music would make it a more enjoyable place as there is not much else to see or do in this hotel.

The staff were all very helpful, professional and friendly. It was probably one of the best customer service experiences I've had on the island. The hotel contained many little details which most other hotels in the south don't have, like rubber slippers, an actually stocked mini bar, shoe shine, etc. Loved the decor/furniture in the restaurant. The breakfast spread was pretty decent as well.

As most have said, the bathroom is extremely small. You need to walk into the shower cubicle to be able to close the door. The room service menu was a bit too spicy for our taste. Would've been good if they had pre-warned us. Didn't have too many options either. Rooms don't have much of a view. Also would've preferred armchairs in the room instead of the stools they had. All in all can't complain given the other hotel options in Jaffna

Excellent breakfast and evening dinner. We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed a lot longer. Very good value for money and staff service was excellent.

Breakfast on the second morning was not the buffet option and we were not informed of this beforehand. We still had mosquitoes in the room despite using the complimentary mosquito plug ( but we did also appreciate this).
