Raymond and the other staff member I interacted with (who's name I didn't catch) were so welcoming and friendly, they really made my time in Jaffna lovely! Raymond, who works on the front desk, speaks excellent English so it was really interesting to talk to him about life in Jaffna to get a feel for that from a local. He was always keen to help me out with things like sorting out motorbike rental, and I really got the impression this was just to be helpful, not like some hotels promoting their services so they can take a commission. As he didn't mind at all when I rented from elsewhere (and he helped me negotiate with the external rental place when there were some issues). He was wonderful conversation and very friendly! The other member of staff I interacted with didn't speak much English but more than made up for it with a super friendly manner and was extremely welcoming and kind. They made tasty and enormous local breakfasts with vast amounts of delicious milk tea 🤩 after my first night here I decided to stay another night on my way back through Jaffna, and if I came to Jaffna again I'd definitely stay here. The location is great, really central near the fort and market but also not too far from Nallur, and the rooms were nice and clean. They also do very reasonably priced laundry for just 500 lkr for a full load - super handy! Thanks Raymond for a lovely stay!

Friendly costomer service and they have good rooms for budget travelers.

Very good location within easy walking to centre. Reception and catering staff very friendly and always pleased to help. Room good size with good air conditioning and comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast and very good value for price even though some room for improvement. With attention to the issues I mention I would rate overall findings higher.

Some attention needed to general room decoration, torn curtains and paint flaking off walls. Plumbing leaking from bathroom sink and tap loose. Disturbed sleep every morning at 5.15am caused by noise from kitchen preparation. WIFI access unreliable at times.

Very spacious room with 2 double beds which help us to keep our cloths , bags etc Adequately furnished Felt like home - 1st floor kitchen and dining hall were handy The staffs Sathees at reception was very helpful. Nathan looked after very well with room service.

Access to the property during busy hours as the cul - de - sac is narrow and other vehicles may block . As the distance is 50meters walking from the road top to hotel is easier.

I had a deluxe double room. The staff were amazing, especially Raymond on reception, he helped me with local information and renting a scooter. Was very caring. I arrived at 4am and no problem to check in then. I left at 8pm and late check out not a problem. Although dated the room was very comfortable with a window that opened, plenty of space and cupboards. A simple western or Sri Lankan Breakfast included. Location was excellent, close to market, centre of Jaffna and bus station. I really enjoyed my stay here, it was comfortable, safe and excellent value for money

Clean & spacious rooms equipped with AC and Fans for a comfortable stay. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast exquisite. Always a mixture of Dal, chicken curry, eggs as well as bread & jam. The hotel is located very close to jaffna market and the main sites like Jaffna Fort, clock tower, public library etc. Are within walking distance. ~7min on foot is a big supermarket called Keells.

Was one of the budget options in Jaffna and I’m very happy we picked this one. Rooms were clean, aircon worked, hot water worked. Very good location 5 mins walk from bus stand and 20 mins to train station or 5 mins in a taxi. Kind and friendly staff, extremely comfortable bed. Very good Sri Lankan breakfast (they also offered us an alternative but the curries were so good).

Our room was next to the breakfast room from which noise carried when it opened at 7. We were not too disturbed.

The location was really good. Breakfast was good - after they knew to cook the whites of our eggs! But would have liked the choice between English breakfast or Sri Lankan, we were just automatically given English where most others had Sri Lankan. It was a pretty good coffee and egg on toast was really tasty. The staff were amazing and even let us do our washing as we were running out of clothing!

The air conditioning didn't really work well enough to keep the room cool, so had very sweaty nights! Bring ear plugs as the chickens start to shout very early in the morning!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by the low rates for such high quality. The room was comfortable, clean, and made for a relaxing and safe stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great experience without breaking the bank!
