The room was of a good size and the shower had a great pressure and temperature. The pool was nice and the beach was fun to swim at. The buffet breakfast was nice.

We didn't purchase dinner with our package and it was quite difficult to get food outside of the buffet hours. The hotel is not located around many other restaurants.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! We had an amazing time with the family, enjoying every moment. The location is breathtaking, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing all the amenities we needed for a pleasant stay. The highlight for our kids was the fantastic swimming pool—they spent the entire day splashing around and having fun. The dining experience was exceptional, with a diverse array of dishes for both dinner and breakfast. The dinner buffet offered a wide selection of delicious options, while the breakfast buffet delighted us with a mix of local and continental cuisine. The staff were incredibly attentive and provided excellent customer service in the dining rooms, making us feel truly welcome. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. We’ll definitely be returning!

No Much complaint.

Very nice and spacious rooms. Big and comfortable bed. Hotel pool is also very nice and big. WiFi wasn’t working well during my stay, had problems to connect in the room (maybe because of some electricity shortage in the area). The beach in front of the hotel is quite dirty, garbage and plastic bottles lying around. It should be taken care of. Breakfast buffet is good as well. Fruits, cookies and cakes, white and brown toast bread, lots of rice and curry dishes. Some veggies. There is also a grill station where you can grab a sausage or bacon.

This is our 3 rd stay with this Hotel, the view is amazing you are straight to the Indian Ocean and it’s beautiful, huge garden and a nice swimming pool lots of space around swimming pool for sunbathing etc. Special thanks to Front office Manager Miss Thushari and her Assistant Miss Abhi, made our stay more comfortable, overall everyone is very helpful and friendly , Operation Manager and Chef 👨‍🍳were excellent, they are very professional they know their customers! We were very happy with our stay at Citrus Waskaduwa. We will be there whenever we visit Srilanka, we haven’t found any other hotel with such a quality. Thanks for all the staff.

Really nice beach front hotel close to Colombo. Beach is nice and clean and safe to have a sea bath. The food was really tasty and enjoyed a lot.

the bed was not that comfy. bed sheet and and quilt was bit wet.

Room is good. We had breakfast buffet and dinner buffet , it is excellent !!!!! Chef is supper nice. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name. He is a valuable asset to the hotel. I like the hospitality we came from FRANCE and my son didn’t eat most of the food ,but the chef approached him and he serve my son with doughnuts in the morning and fish and chips for dinner . these are little things,,but its nice when your in a vacation. we highly appreciate .

We had a fantastic and enjoyable stay at Citrus. It was our first visit, and the staff was super friendly. A big shoutout to Mr. Deshan Ruwanthaka at the live station and BBQ area for being so helpful and considerate. There was also a great guy who cleaned our room, but I didn’t catch his name; I hope you can recognize him for his excellent service. He was such a lovely and friendly person. We stayed in room 230, checked in on the 14th, and checked out on the 16th of September. The entire team was incredibly supportive and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Staffs are amazing. Very helpful. Rooms are large and spacious. Massive garden space where kids could ran around and enjoyed the well maint8aned grass. Facing the beach was brilliant. Kids and my self after so long loved rough waves of the sea. Everything is amazing. Breakfast was good as well. Very sri Lankan breakfast choice and english breakfast.

The dinner buffet wasn't the best. We have to move to another place as it's packed in the main restaurant. Choice of food was bit less abd taste a but odd. Kids didn't eat much. Rooms could have rugs and some towels for the floor. When we enter we didn't have any towels but once we call them they provide us with bath towels. But knowing it's a beach property having rugs would be better as rooms get dirty very quickly .
